“One of the few mom and pop restaurants left around and some of the best cooking you will ever find and as close to your grandma’s cooking you can get. All you can eat set in front of you on a lazy Susan you don’t even have to get up. Awesome staff and owners.”

“Food was pretty good . Felt a desert should have been included for the price. Did not appreciate a worker sweeping and then vacuuming all around our table while we were eating. It's not sanitary and the noise level prevented conversation. Wanted a peaceful lunch with my mother n law.”

“I love whole catfish but rarely can find it in restaurants these days. My meal was fantastic! At first I thought the hush puppies looked overcooked BUT I was terribly wrong. They were just as perfect as the catfish. I also bought lemon pepper wings for a late night snack tonight or lunch tomorrow. They look yummy and the seasoning taste delicious. I had great service. The lady and her son working there were a pleasure. I will definitely be ordering there a lot more often. This was my first experience and it was a rainy evening. I am one happy and full lady.”

“Definitely recommend Smoke and BBQ if you’re looking for some good wings or some BBQ that will touch your soul. Come on down to Smoke And BBQ off I-75 in Jackson,Ga. I stop bye for a plate each and every time I am on I-75. My favorite go to are those Lemon Pepper wings and fries or one of there delicious sides. And if you’re in the mood for some BBQ and a few sides they will definitely satisfy your cravings. “This place is over 100 years old and you can see the history on the walls. Open seating, one counter for service, and one huge pit in the middle of the place. There is not a huge selection but when something is so good you don't need options! Chopped meat, vinegar-based sauce, cole slaw, and Brunswick stew...that's it and that's all you need!!”

“The food was great as far as portion and quality, the fries are fresh cut. The onion rings fall short of amazing, but are still pretty good (I live a mile from a Varsity location, they'll always have the best rings!) My kiddo enjoyed his burger, my wings were delicious, and hubs enjoyed his catfish. All plates cleared! The only thing that somewhat bugged me was a smokey / musty smell inside of the restaurant. I don't think they allow smoking, but it was strong enough to give me a slight headache. Yes, I'm sensitive. It probably wouldn't bother most people.”

“It gives my home state Texas a real run for the money. They have some of the best BBQ that I have ever tasted. The employees are very respectful and make you feel at home. And it's trucker friendly.”
