“Outstanding little place! We stopped here on the way home from Atlanta and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, the good food and the fair price. It's not in a larger town so you might miss it, but fortunately we just happened to drive by and I am glad we did. Really good food.“

“We were in town for a long weekend doing our own little Stranger Things tour. We ate at a few locations in town and will have to say Mesquite was the best by far. It's a lot bigger than it appears, so there is plenty of seating. They have a little bar you can pull up to as well. It is a little aged, not sure how long its been around, but by the looks quite awhile. Service was quick and attentive. I really liked their salsa, really liked it. My wife also got some cheese dip, which she enjoyed. She Got a chicken chimichanga and beef taco. She liked the chili, but said the beef was a little blah. She ordered one of the biggest margaritas I've seen, we were laughing because we thought I would be carrying her out. She said it tasted great, but was a bit on the weak side, she could walk just fine after drinking it. I got the veggie fajitas and thought they were amazing! Few different veggies than other places. Piled high, and seasoned just perfect. Would Highly recommend them. You just need to get some extra wraps. Prices were reasonable as well. Good solid Mexican joint.“

I just moved to Georgia from New York and let me tell you that the flavor from Castillo Real is second to none, we don't have this type of flavor in New York . I really recommend this restaurant if you are in the Mcdonough area.“

“Such a over the top experience for me here with a top shelf margarita and the chips were light and crispy. Just perfect along with the salsa just the right temp. The avocado dip was phenomanol. It was cold so I had their chicken soup which was wholesome and fulfilling. I look forward to coming back! Maybe tomorrow I'll try their shrimp corn chowder ! Sounds exciting!“
