I was truly amazed by the level of leadership and teamwork demonstrated by the management and staff here!This restaurant was crowded! —- and they HANDLED it! I couldn't help but notice the three levels of leadership present, each performing their duties as managers while also actively assisting the line cooks and servers. My first Waffle House experience was a great one! The food was hot and delicious and the prices were very reasonable! Lucy was our waitress and could not have been better! She took our order, rang me up and offered to take a photo of our group in the parking lot….so accommodating! Another staff member would also check on our coffees and kept them filled and hot. Today I found out the one on West Avenue may be the best! At least it was for breakfast at 9:30PM on Saturday night. Everything was perfectly cooked. I didn't even put ketchup on my cheese scrambled eggs as usual...they were perfect the way they were! They gave me 4 lemon slices in my tea! None of the hashbrowns were anywhere near burnt...best breakfast I've had in forever. About time! Thank you!
