I order take out from there occasionally, but its a bar, for Christ's sake! People drinking, eating and unwinding after a hard day. If that displeases you, go to McDonald's. Some folks have nothing nice to say, but unfortunately, they say it anyway.“

Devan was the man- he took care of us - we sat upstairs which is the best table as you get to get a Birds Eye view of the hustle of a cool restaurant.

Green Salad is top 10 best in the city, right next to BarTaco’s Kale salad. And HUGE, we shared one and could barely finish it.

Lamb Pasta was outta control, it was my wife’s meal but I kept stealing bites.

Lamb burger was excellent, the masala fries were unique but very delicate and seasoned with something exotic.

Mussels were good but LARGE. I’m used to the kind that you can slurp, these you had to chew. Still yummy.

I had 2 daiquiris and shared 2 bourbon drinks , forgot the name, it was two words like “burly samsonite” or “brownie stowaway” - but RECOMMMENDED 🥃

Super romantic table upstairs. There are only 2 2-tops up there so I think you have to special ask for it. I wouldn’t even notice them if we had sat downstairs.

Highly recommend this restaurant and even got to talk directly with the owner/head chef Bill! If you are in the area or even if not make the drive, it will be well worth it!!! Neighborhood where it is located, Inman Park, is very nice as well with lots of walk-ability and less than 2 miles from downtown Atlanta, so make it a day or weekend trip.“

“I loved every aspect of 26 Thai Kitchen and bar. The service was excellent. The food was really good, including the massive one that allows you to order four for a discounted price. The dishes were fresh, and the sauces that came with complimented their flavor. The main dishes were great too. I had a sweet and sour chicken which came in a pineapple boat and my husband had a pad Thai flavor inspired chicken. The atmosphere was awesome, felt very cozy and retro.“

“July 05, 2025 Greetings, This evening, I had the opportunity to celebrate my 40th birthday, and to mark the occasion, my partner and I chose to dine at a fine dining establishment in downtown Atlanta. Regrettably, after we visited your downtown Atlanta location, it became clear that my hope for an outstanding dining experience was unlikely to be met. Upon our arrival, we had to wait despite having made a reservation several hours earlier. Eventually, we were seated at a table no larger than a nightstand. I immediately observed that, unlike the other tables, the candle on ours was unlit. This should have served as an indication of the service to follow. Once seated, we were presented with the menu and asked for two sweet teas. Soon after, we placed our orders. After waiting twenty minutes, we realized that our drinks had been forgotten. We subsequently reminded our waitress that we had ordered two sweet iced teas. After an additional ten minutes, our drinks arrived. Fifteen minutes later, our food finally arrived. Upon its arrival, I noticed a sticky substance around the $75 steak I had ordered. After considerable effort to cut into it, I tasted the meat and found it to be overcooked—its flavor reminiscent of a meal unintentionally left on the grill by an intoxicated cook. It was unsatisfactory, and I requested a remake. At this point, we had spent over an hour at your restaurant, and the staff began cleaning up. Finally, around 12:05 a.m., the re-cooked steak was brought out. Although it was an improvement over the first, it still did not merit the price of $75. Given that my potatoes were cold and the minimal ice in my refilled iced tea had melted, I opted to forgo the steak altogether. My partner, who is more willing to accept mediocre service, encouraged me to take the steak back to the hotel, which led us to request a to-go box. Ten minutes later, we received a small cardboard box, barely big enough for my food. Further, we were not offered anything to carry the sauce in, utensils, or even a bag. Shortly after, we received our bill, which totaled approximately $195.00, excluding gratuity. At that moment, I was overwhelmed with emotion and informed my partner that I needed a few minutes outside to collect my thoughts. I found it challenging to rationalize $200 for a meal arguably valued at $20 and customer service worth $10. Despite my objections, my partner insisted on refraining from discussing this matter with a manager. He wanted to avoid any conflict on my birthday. While I appreciate his noble intentions, I possess a strong aversion to inequality in any form. The treatment we received in an establishment that professes luxury and exemplary customer service was inadequate and perhaps a sign of your treatment towards Minority LGBT customers. We deserved a better experience. Although my birthday weekend was great, this experience was horrible. I am genuinely disappointed with my visit to your Atlanta location. “It was our 16th wedding anniversary and like always everything was on point. They even corrected and replaced an over cooked steak without question and as a bonus offered a free table side and later found out that they comped my wife's drink. That's a customer service experience you really appreciate and not expect.“

I wanted something spicy and fun, and he delivered a masterpiece. It is rare to find a drink that balances heat and fruit so well without masking the quality of the tequila. “I wrote an excellent review a long time ago, but it did not do MF Sushi justice, so I am editing my original review after eating there on my own at the sushi bar yesterday.
MF Sushi gives you the food, service, and vibe of a Michelin Star restaurant without actually having one. The sushi tastes like we were dining on an island in the Pacific Ocean. The servers are on top of EVERYTHING. They know when you need something by just your facial expressions and they know when to bring you the next dish. The vibe is casual elegance, which is right up my alley. Even though MF Sushi has been around for a long time, I still feel like it's a hidden gem and I hope is stays that way. The only thing I will suggest, and this is only because I have a habit of eating way too quickly, is that when you see I have finished the piece of sushi in front of me (Chef's special, kind of like Omakase, but not), wait 2-4 minutes before bringing the next piece out. It forces me to pause and enjoy what I just ate. I am not sure if others have the same issue I have, but this is more my issue and not MF's. I always tell myself I have to come to MF more often and then life happens, but this time I am hoping to follow through. Thank you MF Sushi for such a great experience!“
