“We swung by after a convention today. We have lived in Atlanta since hurricane Katrina and I have had most of the food in this city. I’ve wanted to try this place for quite some time, we ordered the Jambalaya, Gumbo, Mac and Cheese and Bread Pudding. Mrs. Angie was behind the counter and was an absolute angel, once our food got to the table, I had a moment of pure and unhindered nostalgia being taken back toy childhood and experiencing spicy food for the first time. One of the meals that made me fall in love with cooking and specifically that deep love for the culture and heritage of New Orleans. It put a legitimate tear into my eye how good this food was, I got up and went to give Mrs. Angie a hug that food was so good.

I would recommend this spot to anyone, it is amazing, the food was perfect, she was an angel, the staff was amazing. No notes and no crumbs left.“

“Food review for Zaddy’s in Atlanta

I tried the Classic Caesar Sandwich. The large was 27 dollars and they also have a 17 dollar option and a smaller one that costs even less.

Customer service almost got a thumbs down from me. It was my first time there and I was trying to figure out what I saw on TikTok. While I was still deciding, the cashier asked the people behind me if they were ready in a way that felt a little rushed. That part didn’t feel great.

But the older lady who gave me my food was really kind and sweet. She helped me a lot and made the experience better, especially since I am handicapped.

The sandwich is big. It can feed two people if you add sides or even one adult and a child depending on how you split it.

As for the taste, some people might say it is bland. I would say it tastes fresh and clean, not heavy or over seasoned. I did add ranch because it got a little dry toward the end and that helped.

Would I go back. I wanted to say no because of the hype but honestly it is good. Next time I would just get the cheaper option because the portions are already large.

We used Vieux Carre Bistro to cater a large family event. We had several catered meals throughout the long weekend, but my family continually raved about the food from this restaurant. I appreciate that the restaurant recommended a menu based on the dietary considerations I needed to navigate. The chicken pasta was the clear favorite and a must have recommendation. Other favorites were the blackened salmon and fried chicken wings. When it came to service, the owner was very flexible when it came to pick up, patiently waiting to provide curbside loading for our courier. Overall, we were very satisfied with the food, service, and value for this catering order and will definitely use them again.“

“This was my daughter and I second time eating here. Being away from home (New Orleans) we’ve missed out good ole seafood. It’s been really hard finding a place to match our taste buds,lol. But AGAIN! They did NOT fail! The seafood boil is amazing. Lobster tail was a really nice size (unlike other places), and the seasoning was AWESOME. The staff were nice and made sure we were good. But after a short conversation with the Head chef , he was able to sell me on an amazing blackened grouper, and it was to die for! Very knowledgeable! And food was great! “My experience at Cajun Cooks on Jonesboro was pretty basic overall. The food was okay, but nothing really stood out or wowed me. Service was decent and the staff was polite, but the overall experience felt average compared to other Cajun spots I’ve visited. The atmosphere was simple and casual, which is fine, but I was hoping for more flavor and excitement in both the food and the vibe. It’s an okay spot if you’re nearby and craving Cajun food, but there’s definitely room for improvement.“
