“We dined in at Copeland's of New Orleans Kennesaw for the first time on a Saturday morning. I happened to be scrolling on social media a few days before and came across the special 50% off brunch promotion that they ran the Saturday before Labor Day. Because I had recently dined at the Cumberland location and enjoyed the brunch, I told my family and we decided to go.

We arrived early because we anticipated a line. There was a line forming before 10 AM, but no one was rude or trying to force their way ahead of others. We were able to sit immediately after they opened due to arriving early. The brunch selection was very similar to what I experienced at the other location with a few new things that I enjoyed. They had two sections of food with the breakfast bar including salads, fruit, desserts and typical cajun breakfast foods. The lunch options included baked chicken, grilled chicken, jambalaya pasta, spinach dip, rice, mashed sweet potatoes, vegetables and more. My favorites were the peach biscuits (STAR of the show!), beignets, peel and eat shrimp (hint of spice with Old Bay served cold but packed with flavor), fried shrimp, cheese grits and potatoes. I really loved the peach biscuits. I tried a piece of grilled bbq chicken breast as well and was surprised at how flavorful it was!

“I would highly recommend these guys. Being from Louisiana, they have made me feel so at home here with the Shrimp Poboy and Boudin Balls. I found them about a year ago and absolutely love them. It's like getting a poboy in Louisiana and the boudin balls are delicious. Not every Cajun restaurant here in GA can please a true Cajun, but this place does. Highly recommend!“

“It's a food truck. It's hard to find good fried fish in Cobb. I ordered the fried whiting with sides of collards and rice n beans. The fish was fried and seasoned perfectly, not salty at all. The rice and beans were the best I ever had. I wonder if they sell a pint size of the rice and beans. The collards were good, too. I loved the food, a good value for the money. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in that part of town.“

“We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary on a Wednesday night. They warmly welcomed us even though we didn't have reservations. The chicken piccata was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the broccolini, tomato, mushroom side vegetable was not over cooked, but hot and generous and enough for two to share. My husband had the chicken parmesan, and we both switched out the spagetti that was on the menu to the fettucini made in house. They are known for their fresh pasta. The TV's played a travel video of Italy which was a nice departure from sports or news. The music was Italian as far as I know, definitely not pop culture. The tables are close together because it is a small intimate space. Our waitress was attentive and cheerful. We will definitely be back!“

“I like trying hole in the wall places. I also am a fried chicken girly. I went on a whim and tried this place. I saw no reviews or anything, and took a chance. And boy was I glad I did. The honey butter shrimp are so good! Very light honey butter flavor but it a good way. The tenders are bigger than I thought too! Seasoning was good and not overly salty, and not greasy either. Now, the biscuits are a whole other level. All I can say is buy more than one cause they are that good. They are sweet honey butter, and are so soft. I will definitely be bringing my family by to try.“
