“Kiyah was our server for the afternoon and my family absolutely loved her. The food wasn’t great at all and they ran out of the stuffed green toast (which by the way it comes pre- packaged). I would give this place a 2-3 star rating if it wasn’t for Kiyah. She made this whole dining experience wonderful. I would only come back here just for her. She listened to every request and concern with so much compassion and understanding. I felt like we were taken care of with her as our server. Best server I have had in so long.“

“First of all, Daniel is amazing. Give him a raise. Great customer service. You can’t go wrong with the food, I truly don’t think I have ever had an issue with my WaHo food. The atmosphere at this location was pleasant, typical— orders and greetings being yelled over the sound of bacon sizzling while the jukebox plays. Today it was MJ & Bob Marley. It was clean as well. Go in the building, yes it is a medical building, but once you know about it you will keep coming back. Otherwise just Grub-hub it. This place feels takeout oriented, but for me I like to eat inside. “We had a great experience at Cafe Social House! The service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the drinks were nice and strong. “We came to IHOP this morning to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately, our experience with our first server was very disappointing.

When she first approached our table, she did not introduce herself or tell us her name. She asked if we were ready to order drinks, and we told her we needed a little more time. When she returned, I asked if the apple juice was from the fountain. She said no, so I politely asked what brand it was. She appeared annoyed, rolled her eyes, and walked away to ask someone. When she came back, she simply asked, “Do you want it?” I said yes and thanked her.

When she brought the apple juice, she literally tossed the straws onto our table. Her overall attitude came across as condescending, impatient, and rude.

I have worked as a server for 25 years and have trained servers in hospitality, so I completely understand that working with the public is not always easy. That is exactly why I initially gave her grace. However, when the attitude continued, I decided it would be better to quietly ask the host if we could move to another table and have a different server. I didn’t explain why because I didn’t want to make a scene, especially on my daughter’s birthday.

Thankfully, we were then taken care of by Maya, and the difference was immediate. Maya approached our table with a smile, introduced herself, was welcoming, and answered every question I had without making me feel like I was bothering her. She showed us the type of service and hospitality that guests should receive.

“my wife brought a batch of biscuits home from this place a while back, and they were delicious. Therefore I decided to take my daughter here this morning for breakfast, and it was both of our first time going. Let me just say that I was thoroughly pleased with the experience from the time we walked in until the time we left. The establishment itself was nice, and the customer service from every staff person we encountered was awesome! And the food just took everything to another level. I had the five and dime chicken sandwich with sausage gravy, and my daughter had the regular chicken biscuit. My daughter enjoyed her chicken biscuit, but the five and dime chicken biscuit I had made my taste buds do a dance! It was great! And if all of that weren't enough, the prices are extremely reasonable and the quantity of food hit the spot. Maple Street Biscuit Company has not seen the last of us. I can't wait to get back and try some of their other menu items. Salute to the whole team at the Kennesaw location!“

She was so delightful and very helpful. This location is a little way aways from me but the service from the workers and manager was exceptional I won’t mind making the drive again! Giving 4 stars for food only because I would like iHop to begin offering warm original syrup again. iHop is just as cold as a doctor's office, so the syrups at the table also get cold. It's a weird temperature difference between the warm pancakes and the cold syrup. I feel like I have to eat my pancakes quickly before my pancakes match the temperature of the syrup.
This is not a reflection of the restaurant itself, as the restaurant is not able to offer this service anymore. So, not the restaurants fault. I recommend this restaurant!“

“I wanted to share a really meaningful experience I had at Flying Biscuit Cafe. During my visit, there was a woman clearly going through a difficult mental health episode, and it created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone inside and outside of the restaurant.

What stood out to me was how Gigi handled the situation. Instead of reacting with frustration or immediately escalating things, she approached it with such calm, compassion, and grace. You could tell she truly saw the person in front of her, not just the disruption. She gently de-escalated the situation, made sure the woman was able to eat, and ultimately helped her leave peacefully without things turning into something much bigger.

It was one of those moments that really stays with you. In a world where it’s easy to react quickly or call for backup, Gigi chose patience and humanity. That kind of care and presence is rare, and it left a lasting impression on me.
