We were greeted right away, sat immediately and shortly after, or server, Guy greeted us and took our order and everything came out in a timely manner. Guy was very attentive to our table and let us know about upcoming dinner specials. We will be coming back to check out dinner and ask for Guy !!“

The atmosphere at this location was pleasant, typical— orders and greetings being yelled over the sound of bacon sizzling while the jukebox plays. Today it was MJ & Bob Marley. It was clean as well. Go in the building, yes it is a medical building, but once you know about it you will keep coming back. Otherwise just Grub-hub it. This place feels takeout oriented, but for me I like to eat inside. “I went over for a local, homemade breakfast. The first option on the menu was named after a grandmother with my last name so I had to give it a shot. That salmon plate was THE BEST breakfast I've had in years. 10/10, the service was quick, friendly and reliable. When they say you're family when you walk in, they aren't kidding! They'll do anything they can to take care of you if you come with some respect. If you're nearby I gatuntee it tops and food options within 30 minutes, uncontested. “We came to IHOP this morning to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately, our experience with our first server was very disappointing.

When she first approached our table, she did not introduce herself or tell us her name. She asked if we were ready to order drinks, and we told her we needed a little more time. When she returned, I asked if the apple juice was from the fountain. She said no, so I politely asked what brand it was. She appeared annoyed, rolled her eyes, and walked away to ask someone. When she came back, she simply asked, “Do you want it?” I said yes and thanked her.

When she brought the apple juice, she literally tossed the straws onto our table. Her overall attitude came across as condescending, impatient, and rude.

I have worked as a server for 25 years and have trained servers in hospitality, so I completely understand that working with the public is not always easy. That is exactly why I initially gave her grace. However, when the attitude continued, I decided it would be better to quietly ask the host if we could move to another table and have a different server. I didn’t explain why because I didn’t want to make a scene, especially on my daughter’s birthday.

Thankfully, we were then taken care of by Maya, and the difference was immediate. Maya approached our table with a smile, introduced herself, was welcoming, and answered every question I had without making me feel like I was bothering her. She showed us the type of service and hospitality that guests should receive.

Therefore I decided to take my daughter here this morning for breakfast, and it was both of our first time going. Let me just say that I was thoroughly pleased with the experience from the time we walked in until the time we left. The establishment itself was nice, and the customer service from every staff person we encountered was awesome! And the food just took everything to another level. I had the five and dime chicken sandwich with sausage gravy, and my daughter had the regular chicken biscuit. My daughter enjoyed her chicken biscuit, but the five and dime chicken biscuit I had made my taste buds do a dance! It was great! And if all of that weren't enough, the prices are extremely reasonable and the quantity of food hit the spot. Maple Street Biscuit Company has not seen the last of us. I can't wait to get back and try some of their other menu items. Salute to the whole team at the Kennesaw location!“

Aaliyah was our amazing server and she was a key part of the experience: friendly, professional, a light-up energy and ease in her job. Stellar memory and attention to detail with our order. Communication with staff colleagues and always with a smile. Only four stars on the atmosphere because the booth seat and table were a little sticky. My avocado toast was delish.“

“I wanted to share a really meaningful experience I had at Flying Biscuit Cafe. During my visit, there was a woman clearly going through a difficult mental health episode, and it created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone inside and outside of the restaurant.

What stood out to me was how Gigi handled the situation. Instead of reacting with frustration or immediately escalating things, she approached it with such calm, compassion, and grace. You could tell she truly saw the person in front of her, not just the disruption. She gently de-escalated the situation, made sure the woman was able to eat, and ultimately helped her leave peacefully without things turning into something much bigger.

It was one of those moments that really stays with you. In a world where it’s easy to react quickly or call for backup, Gigi chose patience and humanity. That kind of care and presence is rare, and it left a lasting impression on me.
