“From My 8yr old, I love this restaurant. this is like the best Restaurant in the world. She's feeling this way as she has texture issues and aversions. They cooked her bacon extra well and it was the best bacon around. She ate all of it. They lightly buttered her toast and got the regular waffle crispy as she doesn't like it soft or soggy.“

Restaurant was kinda dark and lacked the fun atmosphere it used to have, but covid took a lot from us so it's not a massive deal to me. “Wow! There is a very good reason this restaurant is rated so highly ( even higher than the breakfast chain whose initials are FW.) As soon as you walk it you can feel the warmth of the person as she took my order. I ordered the carnita hash( per her recommendation.) it was so delicious. I am so excited to try their vegan options as they are highly rated too! Coffee is hot and delicious.The girl, Jos, who gave me a to go box, chatted about the great vibe here, and got me a cup for a to-go coffee refill, exuded pride in her job. “Waffle House can be a bit of a "hit or miss" experience. This location was on it tonight! Dakota took care of us tonight and he was excellent. He had our food out to us fast and EXACTLY as requested. He was ready with drink refills too before we even knew we needed them. My wife said we got better service here than we had at our last visit to Ray's on the River and they try to be fine dining. She's right too.Waffle House has lots of ways to be specific with your order and it was nice to get really crispy hashbrowns and our daughter's wish of not so crispy bacon.We'll happily stop back at this location.Kid-friendliness: Our daughter loves Waffle House. “I love Waffle House. The only thing that makes or breaks it is the service. Most of the time, it's really good. But tonight, we went back to this particular WH because of the great service we got last time at this one. And Crystal (I hope I'm spelling her name right) remembered us and didn't let us down. She's a really good server with a servants heart. She kept us informed of what was going on and our coffee cups full. We really appreciate her and hope to see her again, though she is going to days and probably at another store. “Though it's never pre-planned, I somehow always end up at Waffle House on Thanksgiving or Christmas. This year, it was Christmas night. I initially went to another place because I wanted some wings, but of course, they weren't open, and right then is when it dawned upon me that Waffle House is always open!I hit that Google Maps and found one .2 miles away (always a Waffle House within reach)! I sat at the high bar (my favorite place to sit in WH because I'm just fascinated at how the kitchen runs) and ordered my usual chicken and eggs, and it did not disappoint. I used to order a triple scrambled w/cheese, but this time, I didn't, and I didn't have enough eggs for my meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly.I wish they'd find a better system to get the whole meal pit at the same time. I don't like that I get my plate with the eggs, hashbrowns, and toast first, and then the meat comes later. I want ONE meal all at the same time. And they do this with the waffles too, that's why I don't order waffles... and they're so good, but I hate getting my meal in pieces.“

It was during a slow period, and both the waitress and cook were busy cleaning. Peggy, the waitress immediately came to the table, greeted us and took our drink order. I’m not sure how new he is, But he greets you with the biggest smile every morning, has the greatest attitude, and is very quick to action.
