“Really reasonably priced, great atmosphere and tasty food. Only thing I disliked was the monkey bread. It was pretty stale and did not have the fluffiness a monkey bread should have, but I figured we probably just got a bad one. The rest of the food was pretty good and everything was pretty clearly made in-house. Chicken salad sandwich was really good, featuring a generous portion of a really good chicken salad plus a really delicious brioche bun. Their biscuits were also huge and really tasty. Bit of a wait with limited seating but pretty well worth it and overall enjoyable brunch.Parking: Parking was severely limited and you will most likely have to park elsewhere“
“I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a Waffle House, but this one was exceptional. We were there on a Saturday at 2 pm. There was over a dozen staff and while we sat and looked at the menu, I notice everyone, seriously, everyone was cleaning something.The floors were be scrubbed, not mopped, but like a bucket of soapy water thrown on the floor and they were scrubbing it with deck brushes. Someone was wiping the wall down while others were cleaning there area.I have never seen that many employees at a Waffle House. All were sort of poking fun at each other about how much cleaner their area was vs the other.Oh, yeah, the food was great as well. That's a given but the cleanliness and the attitude of the staff was fantastic. I don't know how Waffle House is ran, if it's franchised or corporate, but whoever the owner or manager of this store, Waffle House needs to send them to all their stores for some coaching! Excellent!“
“Absolutely loved our breakfast at Eggs Up today. Our food was delicious and the price reasonable, and our service was excellent. The gluten free pancakes were so delicious, but so were the hash browns, steak and eggs and omelettes. This is our family’s new place to go.“
“I had the Fried Green Tomato BLT (which is my standard go-to order). The green tomatoes were so hard that I could not bite them. I know good produce is hard to get at times, but I'd rather have not had the sandwich available if the produce was sub-par.“
“Hadn't been to a Waffle House in a while, when we stopped in today, we very pleased with the service and the food. The first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how clean the facility was. It was during a slow period, and both the waitress and cook were busy cleaning. Peggy, the waitress immediately came to the table, greeted us and took our drink order. Our interaction with her was top notch, she was efficient, courteous and friendly.I ordered sunny side eggs, and Will, the cook,did a superb job with the eggs as well as the rest of the meal. It was a real pleasure to deal with such professional and friendly people. Highly recommend you stop in, the food, and service are excellent, and the price is reasonable.“
“Charming place with great food! Friendly service, loved the outdoor seating. We had the lemon ricotta hotcakes (very yummy, remember that are hotcakes not pancakes, so they’re kind of small), a bagel breakfast sandwich which was loaded with Yummies, and the usual, which looked amazing. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for something or someplace with lots of personality.“
