“Wow! There is a very good reason this restaurant is rated so highly ( even higher than the breakfast chain whose initials are FW.) As soon as you walk it you can feel the warmth of the person as she took my order. I ordered the carnita hash( per her recommendation.) it was so delicious. I am so excited to try their vegan options as they are highly rated too! Coffee is hot and delicious.The girl, Jos, who gave me a to go box, chatted about the great vibe here, and got me a cup for a to-go coffee refill, exuded pride in her job. This is something given today’s culture with waitstaff.I also spoke to Ryan who told me about their great work environment. It is clearly evident especially on a Saturday morning! “The food and service are excellent, but every time I have gone, all the tables are dirty and I have to ask to have one cleaned, in which it’s a quick wipe of everything onto the floor. When I look around, every open table is always dirty, with no one addressing the issue. I hope they step up the cleanliness in the dining area.“
“I love Waffle House. The only thing that makes or breaks it is the service. Most of the time, it's really good. But tonight, we went back to this particular WH because of the great service we got last time at this one. And Crystal (I hope I'm spelling her name right) remembered us and didn't let us down. She's a really good server with a servants heart. She kept us informed of what was going on and our coffee cups full. We really appreciate her and hope to see her again, though she is going to days and probably at another store. “I go to this waffle House often. One thing I don't understand is how do you run a business when you have inadequate cash in the cash drawer. I was waiting for Change and the waitress was asking other employees if they had spare change. You can't keep a Cash drawer straight that way. But everything at waffle House is run in a chaotic way, the cooks are expected to listen to orders being called out instead of having the order in front of them and the dish pit is at the counter and some waffle houses splash you at the counter and there is rarely a clean counter at any waffle House“

“All staff was wonderful—except for the person at the hotel I originally spoke to by phone who was rude, disrespectful and condescending. I discussed this with the general manager in person but got no feedback. The Hyatt I stayed in last time includes breakfast. Something to consider for your hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable. “Though it's never pre-planned, I somehow always end up at Waffle House on Thanksgiving or Christmas. This year, it was Christmas night. I initially went to another place because I wanted some wings, but of course, they weren't open, and right then is when it dawned upon me that Waffle House is always open!I hit that Google Maps and found one .2 miles away (always a Waffle House within reach)! I sat at the high bar (my favorite place to sit in WH because I'm just fascinated at how the kitchen runs) and ordered my usual chicken and eggs, and it did not disappoint. I used to order a triple scrambled w/cheese, but this time, I didn't, and I didn't have enough eggs for my meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly.I wish they'd find a better system to get the whole meal pit at the same time. I don't like that I get my plate with the eggs, hashbrowns, and toast first, and then the meat comes later. I want ONE meal all at the same time. And they do this with the waffles too, that's why I don't order waffles... and they're so good, but I hate getting my meal in pieces.“

I’m not sure how new he is, But he greets you with the biggest smile every morning, has the greatest attitude, and is very quick to action. Part of the reason I come here, is because it’s close to work, and just to be served by Vidal. I really hope a manager sees this and gives Vidal the appreciation he deserves. “Love the people that work here. My family and I have been coming here to this specific location for 5 years and the employees are always fantastic! I came and got my Togo order tonight which I was now forced to place online because when you call it says they do not take phone orders anymore & there’s no option to speak to a person. But online there are also no options for customizations like no cheese on a hash brown bowl. And I drove as fast as I could to get there and the amazing employees there saved my night. They were so kind and remade my order. I don’t know her name but it’s the blonde hair lady and the cook with blonde hair too. They were so generous and kind to me. I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I knew they could tell I was panicked that I made the order but couldn’t get a hold of them. Waffle House needs to fix the online ordering process or put the phones back on. Also if they don’t have a phone that’s such a hazard to employees incase there is an emergency. Service is always 100 but this new togo process has flaws. Please fix it.“

“Food was very good! They have their menu labeled for gluten free and vegetarian options which is awesome for me, as I am GF. Our server was very attentive and easy to talk to. Restaurant was kinda dark and lacked the fun atmosphere it used to have, but covid took a lot from us so it's not a massive deal to me. HOWEVER: I didn't know this until today, their omelettes are not GF! They use pancake batter to thicken them up. Good thing I didn't get one, but that is pretty unusual.“
