Excellent food served family style. Would definitely go back!
Might be our new favorite restaurant. Everything was incredible and the service was great. The salt and pepper calamari blew our minds. Generous portions of everything meant we had enough left over for another meal, and we even put in another order to go because we didn’t want to stop eating it.
The food was delicious and clean — not heavy or over-seasoned. The tofu egg drop soup was tasty while being light and full of veggies, and the wontons in sichuan sauce simply melted in my mouth!

The 3 cups chicken is perfectly crispy, higher quality chicken, covered in a sauce similar to an orange chicken. The shrimp fried rice is well seasoned and not greasy. The string beans have the perfect amount of sauce. The staff is very helpful and the food will be out usually within 15 minutes. After ordering, they do give you a small marinated cucumber salad that is good to eat before or during your meal. With its authentic flavors and generous portions, La Mei Zi Doraville is a must-visit for those looking for a true Buford Hwy experience.
