La Mei Zi is a great spot for authentic Chinese and Taiwanese food on the Buford Highway! Everything was delicious and the prices were reasonable for the portion size and quality! I would especially recommend the three cup chicken and the Taiwanese noodles!

This place is a fantastic hidden gem. The food is delicious, and the service was top notch friendly - which is not always the case at asian restaurants. Our favorites were the House stir fried rice noodles, Braised pork buns and Salt & pepper calamari. I feel bad that they are being negatively impacted by the parking lot construction. If you find yourself in BuHi area, you won't regret checking this place out!

Food is amazing especially the salt and pepper chicken with basil, but also the Szechuan dishes like dry pot fish and dan dan noodles. Love coming here.Dietary restrictions: Mostly dairy free. Some gluten free.

La Mei Zi is truly amazing! We celebrated a 40th birthday here with 20 of us and the staff was amazing! They helped guide us on a good time to come and avoid a wait and they did such a great job managing a group of our size! Maggie was so helpful and sweet and I can’t thank her enough for making our experience that much better. Now….for the food……WOAH! The best Taiwanese food I have ever had in my life!! I had the scallion pancakes, wonton in sichuan sauce, the bok choy tips, three cups chicken, and the salt and pepper shrimp! All of it was so delicious but the bok choy surprised me the most! It was mouth watering and I’ll be dreaming about it for a long time! Thank you La Mei Zi! Keep up the good work! I’ll be back soon

Will definitely be going back. Went in blindly and ordered randomly. EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS SPECTACULAR! The Thai tea and cucumber salad were perfect. I think this will be a new favorite.

My go-to spot on Buford Highway. Anytime I have friends or family in town, I take them to this place. I always get the salt and pepper chicken appetizer for the table. My favorite dish is the pork belly with leeks. You'll start to get recognized if you're a regular.

By far my favorite Asian restaurant in Atlanta. It’s so good. The sichuan spicy chicken is amazing. The dumplings and Singaporean noodles are also great. Their tofu is also really nice.

We had a walk-in with a party of seven and we're able to be seated very quickly. All of the people that were there other than me have been there before and absolutely love it. They say it's their favorite Chinese food place locally. I ended up getting the Vietnamese noodles. Though the rest of the people at the table ordered a couple of different stuff and we shared. I got to try the chicken dumplings. I thought they were really nice. As far as my noodle dish I thought it was really good but it was hoping it would have some more flavor so I used a good amount of chili oil to add flavor. My absolute favorite dish was one that my friend got, it was the Kung pow chicken. It was really crispy and flavorful, I would highly recommend it!. Overall the service was very attentive and kind, the food was pretty good, I definitely go back!

La Mei Zi has great atmosphere with fantastic food. What I love about this restaurant is the friendly service, food is not salty and full of flavor. I love when I came into the restaurant that I was super packed and busy but we still got a great table with fast service. What my family and I ordered tonight:- Appetizer beef roll- Singaporean noodle with chicken and shrimp- stir fried green beans with pork- Chinese okra with crab meat & roe- salt and pepper fried fish fillet- white riceParking:The plaza is doing renovations, but if you get there early, you can have good prime parkingDefinitely recommend this amazing Taiwanese restaurant =)

I have been ordering from them for 10years, both in-store and delivery.I hadn’t ordered anything since last year, until today, when I ordered the snow tips and the Taiwanese noodles.I was surprised in the most unfortunate way, in that the portions were cut by almost HALF of the amount that they used to be, and the food itself tasted completely different from the way I remember.…it was bland, the noodles were overcooked, and it was lacking any flavor at all.I am sorely disappointed ☹️.

Pros:* spacious parking lot* sweet and attentive staff* scallion pancake & house fried rice FTW!* beautifully lit restaurant* HUGE menu* kid friendly menu!Cons:* the 3 cups chicken wasn't great, too sweet but i am blaming this on the yelpers lol. It came highly recommended and sadly, it was ok.Kid-friendliness: They bought my niece kid sized Lo mein and she loved it.

The food and ambience are amazing here. We ordered a bit of everything and shared it family style. They put us at a lazy susan table. I definitely suggest trying the eggplant dish and some of the noodle dishes. The chicken and beef dishes were also really good... just order a bunch and share with the people you're with. As for the service they were so nice, fast and friendly. I commented on the food they made for the staff and they asked if I wanted to try, food is the quickest way to my heart and it worked. Give this La Mei Zi a try.

Best Chinese food I have tasted for quite awhile. The sticky shrimp, (honey and wallnut shrimp), sounds and looks different but taste delicious. Three cup chicken with fried rice, szechuan style fried green beans, even kung pua chicken everybody tries to make were as good as the ones I tasted many times in China. Great food...

The staff was overwhelmed and our table of 3 people was lost between different servers the whole evening and only received partial of our order after asking several times. My daughter's Singapore Stir Fried Rice Noodle dish was beyond salty. Most disappointing is the lack of understanding of the restaurant management or servers. They argue rather than try to learn from error. Good luck, I do not recommend this one.
