Having been to Japan, the menu was pretty authentic and gives people an opportunity to try Izakaya menu staples that you wouldn't find at your typical sushi or ramen restaurant in Atlanta. I like restaurants that have small dishes you can try, and this restaurant allows you to try a lot of different flavors. This is hands-down one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in the area, from the selection to the atmosphere and even comparing it to my experiences at restaurants in Japan - I loved it and I'll definitely be coming back! I tried the Beef Tongue, Salmon Ochazuke, Salmon Onigiri, and the Tempura Ice Cream. Everything was perfectly cooked and prepared. This place was so good. The menu is HUGE, but you call when you're ready, so there's no pressure to rush through it. But I recommend looking ahead of time because you only have 2 hours once seated. My friends and I ordered several dishes and shared them family style. I highly recommend this so that you can try more things.
