“STAY AWAY. this place has sold 3 times and it's only June. They nicklel and dime you to death. The original couple, who was so friendly, are not there. Then they had another owner Kenny. He never said thank you or hello. Now its sold again and there is no one who is nice or cares. What a shame to see such a gold mind go down the drain.“

I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. The wrap had the perfect kick, and the fries were crisp and satisfying without feeling greasy. My partner got the Blackened Salmon Wrap with Steamed Seasoned Broccoli, and it was a hit. The salmon was cooked just right, and the broccoli had great flavor without being overly salty. My friend had just received her PhD so it was a low key celebration brunch. The crowd wasn't happening yet and the barista was bored. As we ate brunch, he appeared with shot glass sized samples of a certain tea drink for us to try. Then he returned later with a sample of creamy drink. Finally a coffee sample was served. We had a lovely chat and it was just such an authentic "small town" moment. The kind we use to have in Roswell 20+ years ago. Fast forward to this afternoon, my friend and I drop in for a birthday lunch and have a terrific meal. Surprise! The staff prepared a cute blueberry scone birthday snack on a heart-shaped dish. “Best non-Starbucks coffee shop in town, just be careful of the service times, because when they’re busy, they low key take FOREVER. Almost like the long lines stress out the baristas and they take even longer or just mess up drink orders more. But the muffins here are fantastic, even if they’re just reselling someone else’s stuff, and their iced lattes are probably the best I’ve had since leaving my home in Naples.“

“Our inaugural visit was last week (September 26). Upon entering, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Yusra. We explained it was our first visit, and she took time to explain the menu to us. The choices were plentiful, and it took a few minutes to decide. We all chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate with various sides. Each bite was more delicious than the previous. Once we ordered, our food was prepared fresh by Sam and delivered to our table. Our meals were delicious, plentiful and very good tasting. Yusra checked on us during our meal as she interacted with other guests. The prices were very reasonable, and we left with a promise that next time we are in Alpharetta, we will be back. “Tonight we visited the Halcyon location for the 2nd time since moving here! The first time we thought the food and staff were amazing! After dinner we bought two take and bake meals and a pie for the week. All were incredible. Tonight was even better than the first visit. The Georgia Peach salad (tonight’s special) was probably one of the greatest salads I’ve had. The chicken salad was phenomenal. Both kids finished every bit of their meals. This is a new staple in our house.“

“This is a long overdue review, we have been coming to Cafe Amico in Roswell regularly since it was opened, two or three times a week. The latte is our absolute favorite in town. It’s exceptional, smooth, no bitter roast taste, and we could ask for the level of sweetness that we prefer. Their matcha latte is my favorite, not a lot of places could make the matcha that is not grainy. They are open later than most coffee shops, especially on Sunday. The atmosphere is quiet, the place is bright and clean, with soothing music on the background. We come usually in the evening when it is not as busy, so we hardly had a long wait time for our order to come out. Excellent service, and we know all the front baristas by name. Keep up the great work, we highly recommend this place!“
