“Our family came in around 8:40 knowing we were probably close to closing time but they so graciously let us order and didn’t make us feel bad about it at all! The service was outstanding and food was some of the best Asian food we’ve had! Boba tea was a hit with our kids also! I was really impressed and have already recommended to others!!“

The splendidness of this food compares to the splendidness of how I felt when Rashid Shaheed returned a 95 yard kickoff on the first play of the divisional round game last night. The price of this food compares to the price it costs to say you love the Seattle Seahawks. Last but not least, this place gave me free water, when Farmers Basket failed to complete such a heroic act of generosity.“

“Mushi Ni has been a go-to of mine in the Chattahoochee Food Works since I moved Atlanta. I’ve really enjoyed both their bowls and Bao buns. They are also very focused on inclusivity offering both a gluten free and plant-based menu. My favorite has always been the mushroom Bao buns, but the tofu and cauliflower are both really great as well. The lunch combo offers a drink, 2 Bao buns of your choice, and a side of fries, the combo saves you roughly $2-$4 depending on your Bao choice. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-02“

“A great late night spot and the food is satisfying. I love eating their tomato crossing the bridge rice noodles. Though I always burn my mouth. It’s kept hot throughout the whole stay because of the bowls they use. I really like how hot the soup is though so this isn’t a complaint. I’ve only eaten here past midnight because there are more options if eating earlier in the day, but this is for sure one of my favorite nighttime spots to eat.“

LanZhou Ramen was an excellent dining experience overall, and even with a few areas that could be improved, I still think it deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The food was flavorful, comforting, and satisfying, and the restaurant delivered the kind of meal that feels both authentic and memorable. It is the type of place that may not be perfect in every small detail, but the strengths are strong enough that the overall experience still stands out.

The best part of the meal was definitely the noodles. They had a great texture: chewy, fresh, and satisfying without being too soft or overcooked. A good bowl of Lanzhou-style noodles depends heavily on the noodle quality, and this restaurant did a very good job with that. The noodles had enough firmness and elasticity to make each bite enjoyable, and they paired well with the broth and toppings.

The broth was also very enjoyable. It had a clean, savory flavor that was warm and comforting. It was not overly heavy, which I appreciated, but I do think it could have used a little more depth and complexity. A slightly richer broth or stronger seasoning would have made it even better. That being said, the flavor was still very good, and it worked well with the noodles. It felt like a bowl of food that was simple in a good way, but still carefully prepared.

The meat and toppings were solid as well. The beef was flavorful and helped complete the dish, although I would have liked a slightly more generous portion. The vegetables and garnishes added freshness, and everything came together nicely. Nothing felt out of place, but a few small improvements in portion size or presentation could make the bowl even more impressive.

The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. It is not necessarily a fancy restaurant, but it does not need to be. The focus is clearly on the food, and that is where LanZhou Ramen succeeds. The service was efficient and polite, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The experience felt straightforward, relaxed, and easy to enjoy.

My main criticisms are minor but worth mentioning. The broth could have been slightly more layered, the meat portion could have been more generous, and the overall presentation could be a little more polished. However, none of these issues took away from the fact that the meal was genuinely enjoyable. In many ways, the simplicity of the food is part of its appeal.

Overall, LanZhou Ramen is a place I would gladly recommend. The noodles were excellent, the broth was comforting, the food felt fresh, and the meal was satisfying from beginning to end. Even though there are small areas for improvement, the overall quality and enjoyment of the experience easily justify a 5-star rating.

“We’ve been there many times. A new family just purchased the business and the whole family works there. I had the Sesame Chicken tonight and it was very lightly battered and very tender. I’ll definitely be back. Oh, they have very flavorful fried rice - the best I’ve had anywhere!“

Today I wanted to step outside my normal routine and got the General Tso's chicken. I love GT chicken, but this was a first from this place. “I went to Happy Valley for dim sum and it was excellent. You can immediately tell the food is not from a central kitchen — it tastes freshly made and very traditional. I tried the Pepper Chicken, which had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the Bento Box was a great value with a nice variety of flavors. “After going to the Lenox Mall location, it was a must to come try the standalone spot in Chamblee. The quality of food is fantastic, and all the options are delicious, with my two favorites so far being the Spicy Chicken with Broccoli and the Mango Chicken. I also loved the Wokdragon Chicken and Pepper Chicken - highly recommend across the board!

Among the side options, everything is fantastic as well, and I especially love the potatoes. Would recommend trying this place out for some quick and delicious food alongside great service, too!“

“I was originally only planning to grab a boba but when I saw how good everything on the menu looked, I had to opt in on a stir fry bowl.

The mango bowl was so so so good, I am already looking forward to coming back for another one. I also tried the crab and cheese spring roll and it was so good (a little pricey being almost $3 for only one but it was so delicious).

The boba tea was perfect, not too sweet and a great flavor combo! I got the passion fruit mango green tea with strawberry pearls. 10/10, I wish I wasn’t full so I could order another one!
