“After going to the Lenox Mall location, it was a must to come try the standalone spot in Chamblee. The quality of food is fantastic, and all the options are delicious, with my two favorites so far being the Spicy Chicken with Broccoli and the Mango Chicken. I also loved the Wokdragon Chicken and Pepper Chicken - highly recommend across the board!

Among the side options, everything is fantastic as well, and I especially love the potatoes. Would recommend trying this place out for some quick and delicious food alongside great service, too!“

Family favorites: pork dumplings, lo mein, general chey's stirfry, thai coconut soup, and the salads are actually really hardy and yummy. They have done a lot of give-back fundraisers for the neighborhood fire house and schools over the years and we really love that. We always eat here when the kids come visit from college. “Mushi Ni has been a go-to of mine in the Chattahoochee Food Works since I moved Atlanta. I’ve really enjoyed both their bowls and Bao buns. They are also very focused on inclusivity offering both a gluten free and plant-based menu. My favorite has always been the mushroom Bao buns, but the tofu and cauliflower are both really great as well. The lunch combo offers a drink, 2 Bao buns of your choice, and a side of fries, the combo saves you roughly $2-$4 depending on your Bao choice. Updated from previous review on 2026-07-02“

LanZhou Ramen was an excellent dining experience overall, and even with a few areas that could be improved, I still think it deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The food was flavorful, comforting, and satisfying, and the restaurant delivered the kind of meal that feels both authentic and memorable. It is the type of place that may not be perfect in every small detail, but the strengths are strong enough that the overall experience still stands out.

The best part of the meal was definitely the noodles. They had a great texture: chewy, fresh, and satisfying without being too soft or overcooked. A good bowl of Lanzhou-style noodles depends heavily on the noodle quality, and this restaurant did a very good job with that. The noodles had enough firmness and elasticity to make each bite enjoyable, and they paired well with the broth and toppings.

The broth was also very enjoyable. It had a clean, savory flavor that was warm and comforting. It was not overly heavy, which I appreciated, but I do think it could have used a little more depth and complexity. A slightly richer broth or stronger seasoning would have made it even better. That being said, the flavor was still very good, and it worked well with the noodles. It felt like a bowl of food that was simple in a good way, but still carefully prepared.

The meat and toppings were solid as well. The beef was flavorful and helped complete the dish, although I would have liked a slightly more generous portion. The vegetables and garnishes added freshness, and everything came together nicely. Nothing felt out of place, but a few small improvements in portion size or presentation could make the bowl even more impressive.

“I went to Happy Valley for dim sum and it was excellent. You can immediately tell the food is not from a central kitchen — it tastes freshly made and very traditional. It’s rare to find dim sum like this anymore. I’ve tried many Chinese restaurants in Atlanta, and this one honestly has the best dim sum flavor I’ve had. The dishes taste authentic and homemade.
