“Delicious spot in the China Town shopping center in Chamblee. Fast service, great prices, and fresh tasty food. If you want soup on a rainy or cold day, this is the place for you.... Soup in all forms, especially soup dumplingsVegetarian options: Vegetable soupScallion pancakes“
“First time going and i loved it so much! the staff was very friendly and understanding ☺️ I got the kimchi stew and some other lovely items and everything was amazing!! This place is super authentic and i reccomend anyone that loves k-food to go<3“
“This is mall Chinese food through and through and I gotta say I’m all for it.Bourbon and mango chicken are my two favorites. Great fried rice and chow mein.Fair price in this economy, ~$11 for two meats and sides. ~8 for one side one meat.“
“So delicious! Came on a Wednesday night and it was pretty full. The restaurant is small and has limited seating, but the atmosphere is cozy. They do have 1hr free parking in a garage, you pay first then use a code. Service was good, there was only one guy working at the front and he was struggling because it was so busy. I feel like there should’ve been at least two people working. The food was soo good. My faves were the lamb cumin noodles and egg and tomato noodles.“
“I’ve been here four times and it’s always amazing. It is pricey but the food is excellent, flavorful and the portions are huge. Even when there is a mishap with your food (which can happen anywhere) they are ALWAYS apologetic and accommodating with either replacing your meal or taking it off of your bill. The servers are amazing at what they do. You can tell all of the staff really care about what they do. Finally, THAT POUND CAKE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!“
“The dishes here are delicious vietnamese guilty pleasure food! We have came here multiple times and have ordered several dishes such as losaldo, pho, lychee lemonade, pear salad, and truffle fries. These food are all fatty and flavorful (losaldo was especially good for me). However, there could be more pho noodles but overall pretty good. The setup in here is pretty clean and modern looking. Love the neon lights and plants.“
“First time here and we loved it! Very cool atmosphere, the doors were open and we ate inside and it felt like we weren’t in Dunwoody anymore. The food was better than we expected, bulgogi was spot on. Celeste was our waitress and she explained the food concept and how it worked perfectly. Well def be back!“
“We had a fantastic first time at LanZhou. The hand made noodle dishes where amazing and the Pork Fried Buns were so good! The portions are huge and we definitely had to take more food. The chicken fried rice and Ramen blew us away. The wait was short because we just missed the rush, after 7pm you WILL have to wait for a table. The popularity of this place is obvious. The service and food were worth driving to Buford Hwy for. Also, they have a new location in Kennesaw we are excited about. In 2923 they got "Recommended" by Michelin Guide, now we know why.“
“Food was good, but nothing outstanding for the prices, so that's why a four out of five. My favorite was probably the picante roll. We ordered ayedeshi tofu, veggie and pork gyoza, sonomono seaweed salad, miso soup, ramen, 9pc chef choice platter, picante roll, California roll, mochi and green tea ice cream. The cocktail I had was fun and beers were fine. I liked the two different servers/hostess we had, but the service was a little slow.“
“Clean, Friendly, and Delicious with lots of control on dietary concerns. It's a clean and friendly Korean café with quick service and tasty food. They were really helpful when I asked about allergens. Also, they have this cool little call button, in case you need the server. Wish there was more of that in the world. They have an options to build a bowl of soup. I chose "sour spicy crossing bridge rice noodle soup." See the pic. Basically, they bring a bowl of boiling broth with an assortment of additives. There are things like corn, tofu, bamboo, quail egg, crumbled pork, mushrooms etc. I started with the big strips of beef, which cooked in the broth. Then, I added the things I wanted to make a tasty, allergen-free soup. Rice noodles are included to add or eat separately. On one visit, I had the rice noodle soup with braised bone-in beef, which was delicious but has all the stuff already added, so I had to pick stuff out of it.I had the brown sugar sticky rice which was delicious. It reminded me of the mozzarella stick that had a delicious gooey inside with a little crust on the outside. It is gluten-free and dairy-free but with a soy powder on top that they'll leave off on your request. It's probably best if you don't take your cotillion date here unless you're securely past the third date. Handling the meal was awkward. I was trying to eat a big piece of beef without a fork, or knife. Additionally, I was trying to shovel long slippery noodles with chopsticks and a spoon. If you do decide to take your date here, there are some really safe things like crispy chicken with rice and, weirdly, Cajun fries. My kid had a crispy rice cutlet with rice and broccoli. She liked it. It's not gluten-free and has a lighter crust than most fried chicken. So, it's an adventurous meal for the average American. If you're game for that, this seems clean, friendly and tasty.Dietary restrictions: Easy to tailor your meal with the items you want by ordering the build-a-soup option. The server was great at explaining each item. Gluten-free meals are easy to create. Servers have been conflicting about whether or not there is a tiny bit of dairy in the broth of the soups.“
“This was the best Far East food delivery I’ve ever had in Atlanta. Fresh vegetables, an appropriate amount of salt. Very friendly staff. The foods was WELL prepare, most (if not all ) appeared to be made in restaurant. Will definitely order again.“
“La Mei Zi is a great spot for authentic Chinese and Taiwanese food on the Buford Highway! Everything was delicious and the prices were reasonable for the portion size and quality! I would especially recommend the three cup chicken and the Taiwanese noodles!“
“I’m impressed every time I come here. First off their lychee martini is one of the best in atlanta! Super tasty and strong. Their sushi apps and rolls are divine. So fresh and really creative pairings. I just brought my sushi loving husband here for date night and he absolutely loved it too. The miso cod blew our mind!! 10/10 recommend this spot!!!“
“Nice ambience. Veeeery friendly service. The server was extremely nice and informed me exactly which options were strictly vegetarian. I loved that. He was completely transparent about which food options had fish sauce, oyster sauce, shrimp sauce etc. I went with the Singaporean noodles with veggies and it was yummmm.Thank you for being awesome!Vegetarian options: Singaporean noodles. Ask for no egg.“
“I am a huge fan of supporting Downtown Atlanta's local businesses. Double kudos for those that have vegan & vegetarian options for people who do not eat meat. The Purple Yam Egg Rolls were super delicious! They were fresh, crisp and fulfilling. I could tell that quality ingredients were used.Amazing, catered atmosphere, as well.I am adding this to the list of my favorite restaurants.----I managed to capture a picture of the last, standing egg roll. Will update with better pics, next meal, next time.100/100Definitely recommend.“
“Located in a small grocery store, I've always had this place bookmarked and so happy I finally got to try it! The lady who took care of us was so attentive and sweet, she would bring our group more rice as she saw it running low. We were a group of 6 and shared: - Grilled Pompano: one of my favorites of everything we got. It was already cut in half for us which made it easy to pull apart to share. The fish was so delicious, and whatever the glaze was - it was addicting. A bit sweet with some savory. Would highly recommend! It comes with this spicy fermented shrimp paste - Ssambal shrimp: spicy! So if you can't handle spice, maybe would skip this - Ssambal chicken: less spicy than the shrimp in my opinion? The chicken was so juicy and moist, I personally preferred this over the shrimp - Beef Rendang: meat was tender which was nice. It was a bit different than the rendang that our friend's family made but still good - curry with either goat or lamb: sorry, couldn't remember which meat but it may have been goat. The curry consistency isn't super thick but the flavors were there, enjoyed it. - noodle soup: delicious, one of my top favorites of the night. Comes with a mix of ramen like and vermicelli noodles, meat balls, this tofu, and veggies. The broth had a nice umami flavor, would recommend! - chicken satay: same glaze as the fish, so of course this was good - not pictured is a veggie dish that is similar to snow pea leaves that was very good as well as the roti which you can't go wrong with. Glad to have come as a group so we could try a bunch of things. Can't wait to come back!“
“This place was so good. The menu is HUGE, but you call when you're ready, so there's no pressure to rush through it. But I recommend looking ahead of time because you only have 2 hours once seated. My friends and I ordered several dishes and shared them family style. I highly recommend this so that you can try more things.“
“Perfect restaurant with amazing service and delicious food! The staff gave great recommendations. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and the flavors were present! For entrees we ordered the lemongrass grilled chicken (Grilled chicken, marinated in fresh lemongrass. Served with sautéed mixed vegetables, bell peppers, mushrooms, and our sweet chili sauce) and the Massaman chicken *mild spice* (Mildly spiced sweet coconut Massaman curry with onions, avocado and cashews). They have a large menu that will satisfy anyone’s tastebuds. I love the neighborhood feel of this restaurant and the music selection. I will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: The menu has a legend for different dietary needs“
“This is some of the freshest poke I’ve had in a really long time, with lots of veggies and a heavy helping of fresh fish (for me). My husband was wanting something warmer/more substantial and got the chicken bullgogi bowl - he was a huge fan! It’s a great place to go when one of us wants something on the lighter (yet still filling) side while the other wants something heavier. Also, don’t skip the dumplings!Parking: Big free lot shared with other restaurants“
“The food is so consistent and yummy, I usually go for the corn dogs (which are a 10/10), but today I had the beef lo mein and it was so delicious. It 100% met my standards and more. This place is so reliable and I hope everyone has the chance to try it!“
“The service was excellent, hostess gave us great recommendations for food. The food was delicious, I ordered the salmon bento box. Really nice atmosphere and would be great for just a group outing or date night. I e will definitely be back.“
“Kid-friendliness: OL Doc. does a good job. Nice clean resturant. Staff is very friendly. Quiallity food. Confucius once say; Man who order food from phone App, Not very Appy... Man who order food from Doc Chey stay very Healthy and Appy.....“
“Excellent service. I don’t know the young woman’s name that was at the counter today at 3pm but thank you for your quality customer service!! My son. and I got the Bangin Miso Ramen, and my husband got the Tonkotsu Ramen. It was all delicious and fresh. I really like how you can customize your ramen. Definitely recommend.“
“This restaurant recently reopened as a Korean street food restaurant, and I am so glad that it did. It is the most authentic Korean I’ve tried south of Doraville and definitely the best in the downtown area. The menu boasts a variety of tasty, traditional Korean food items that remind you of umma’s cooking, including customizable combos, which I personally have really enjoyed. The portions are generous, pricing is very reasonable, the service is friendly and quick, and the vibes are chill if you’re planning to sit down for a meal. I’ve seen many Korean-speaking Koreans come through for lunch and that in itself speaks to the authenticity of this place. It’s encouraging to see a Korean establishment in downtown ATL that actually does its food right and represents Korean cuisine well. Definitely make it a point to check out this spot and you won’t be disappointed.“
“I love everything about this place really. It's interesting food that tastes excellent. Service is good and they suggest stuff for you to eat if you aren't familiar with their restaurant. I have been pleased both times with my food. Nice and clean. Def will be back. Seafood Pancake was “
“Honestly it's probably one of the best tea shops I have ever been to. The tea taste high quality and the place itself is so pretty. The owner is also so cheerful and kind, and so are the other employees. Definitely a go to place when in this area.“
“I’m all about giving credit when it’s due, and this place is due! First time here I had the chicken bowl, and didn’t know what to expect but first bite I knew that this place was it !!! 2nd time here , I had the duck and brisket ( I don’t even eat duck) , but the way they put it together was incredible. Highly recommended!!“
“You always find the best food in the strangest little places. If you're in downtown Atlanta for business, like I am, I can't recommend this spot enough. The food was outstanding. I got the pho, lobster bahn mi, and yogurt. Best meal I've had in Atlanta. :)“
“We were in the area and randomly decided to try it for lunch. My son had the crab fried rice. My husband and I both had the Salt and Pepper fish. First off the food presentation was exquisite!!! What they do is scoop out chunks of fish, fry them and then put the back in the belly if the fish which makes it easier to eat without the bones interfering. My son said his rice had plenty of crab mixed into the rice and a generous portion of crab molded on top. Their chili oil is even fresh made with the right amount of heat/sweet balance. And can I tell you? The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. We were there with our son, but this is a perfect date night. The service was friendly, conversational enough and we felt welcome.“
“Adobo is an Atlanta Filipino staple!! Beef bistek and chicken adobo set a deliciously high bar. Singing fries and sliders are a solid comfort food hit as well. The lahat box is *chef's kiss* a great combo to share! Will certainly enjoy again soon!“
“Great food at great price. For what you pay for fast food or even less, you can eat something delicious that won't regret later. Just check their hours before drive thereWent back here after a while and they sure didn't disappoint. I got some friends to drive there and they were very pleased with the experienceKeep it up guys!“
“Love Nova!! My daughter and I eat lunch there frequently when in Buckhead. The wonton soup is my favorite because the dumplings are bite size. And the bento box has the best combination of all my favorites!! Fast and friendly service - plenty of booths so that you feel appropriately distanced from other customers. And very consistent - the food is hot and delicious every time!! ❤️“
“Our family has been coming here for years and the food & service has been consistently amazing! I always see the same ladies and they’ve always been so friendly & kind. Their black bean noodles and spicy seafood noodle soup is hard to beat. This is our go to spot everytime!“
“Came in for a quick bite - we had already eaten dinner elsewhere. The reason we came was for dessert - I really like mango sticky rice and wanted to try theirs! I did like it, it had nice balance of flavors. I’m still most partial to Ruby Chows mango sticky rice, but this was a good runner up.My husband got the spring rolls for a snack and didn’t care for it.he was disappointed they didn’t have spicy mustard. He said he wouldn’t come back.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options, but many meat entrees. The mango sticky rice is vegetarian! :)Parking: It can be hard to find (free) parking around here - you can if you go into neighborhood and walk. But most of the parking lots around are paid (and hefty prices! On weekends we saw signs of people asking for $20 to park!) luckily we bike many places so we don’t have to worry about car parking.Wheelchair accessibility: You have to climb some stairs to get up to the dining area, so that would make it hard for a wheelchair impaired person. I’m honestly not sure if they have elevator as we didn’t need so I didn’t look for it“
“No-frills, longtime Buford Highway staple that serves Cantonese style Chinese food. I always get their black bean clams which are really flavorful and umami. Also, the stirfried peashoots and Chinese water spinach with garlic are both really good. Other good dishes include the lotus root stir fry with wood ear mushrooms, garlic chicken, and eggplant + salted fish claypot (my absolute favorite... so so delicious and umami, delicious when mixed with rice). Some of the best Cantonese food in Atlanta by far.“
“Seriously tasty food. I've never been in person, but I've gotten takeout here 3 times and everything was delicious and fresh each time.Update: I have now eaten here in person. Somehow the food was even better. This place is so consistently amazing. The firecracker cauliflower and sweet chilli curry are standouts, but honestly everything I've had here is mind-blowingly good. Their fruit teas are also very delicious and pair perfectly with their food. This place is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Atlanta area.“
“The service is top notch. Let the servers know if you have dietary restrictions, they will help you make choices. Their sesame balls are REALLY lovely. The jasmine tea, is the best I've had ( should have asked the brand, it was crazy good).Vegetarian options: They had several vegetarian options. I had the Hunan tofu, which was lovely.“
“Came here late at night and they served very good Pho here! Though the lights are kinda weird since one side is like neon pink and the other side is regular lights, and i was sitting in the middle of them both. So it kinda make my eyes hurt. But beside that, everything else was great. Good spot to come have delicious hot pho!“
“The food and service were amazing. Brought my boyfriend here for the first time and Miss Cha was super helpful and showed us how to combine all of the ingredients. They use traditional charcoal grills which is the preferred way and gives the food a nice flavor. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend others come here for an authentic experience!“
“This meal was fire! The flavor it had still has my mouth watering. I've never had corn with hibachi but it was a great addition. The chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. The veggies still had a good crisp to them. I ordered online so I can't comment on the service and ambiance but the food is 10/10!“
“Wonderful experience and food! Met the chef/owner, she seemed very nice and invested in her restaurant, the waiter Shawn was great and easy to talk to, and most importantly, the food was delicious - definitely was steps above what you tend to get going to your average asian restaurant out there - we'll be going back!“
“Drove around looking for a good-quality Chinese restaurant and stumbled upon this gem. There are so many options on the menu. I ordered the sweet sesame chicken and my boyfriend ordered pad thai. The food came out fresh. Our server was so sweet and attentive. It’s always great to experience exceptional service, especially in Atlanta. 10/10 recommend!“
“Although pricier than your average take on ramen bowls, Wagamama does delivery quality meals. With a large party of 7, service took a little bit of extra time but the atmosphere made up for it. I appreciate the layout of the menu and the thorough explanation the server gave us.“
“Amazing food and service! I love their boba and panang curry dishes! I always make sure to stop by when I am in the area! I also organized a fundraiser event here for my student organization and the management here was super helpful in helping us reach our fundraiser goal by hosting a proceeds night! Highly recommend you check this place out!!“
“Walking in to Hopstix we were welcomed by the wide open space, clean lines, and minimalist decor. Our server, David Ramos, was friendly, explained Asian Fusion cuisine, and described specific menu items enthusiastically. We ordered baby octopus... a spicy, crispy, red adventure; Asian-seasoned corn-on-the-cob (who knew?); and panko-crusted chicken strips with curried veggies over jasmine rice. We were impressed. The flavors were distinct but not powerful. The spicy hotness was entertaining without burning. The panko was crispy on the tender, juicy chicken; the veggies... carrots, onion, and broccoli... were al dente; the currie sauce was mildly spicely over almost-fluffy (vs. pasty) jasmine rice; and the serving was remarkably generous. My guest tried the jasmine rice beer and enjoyed its lightness and slight aroma. Our desert was an exquisite coconut-encrusted Creme Brulee. The pace of service was relaxed so we were able to talk and laugh between servings and the attentive visits by David and bussers. A two-hour lunch is uncommon; we enjoyed every minute of our first experience at Hopstix, and will be brining our friends there soon.“
