About Xi'an Gourmet House (Midtown)

Xi'an Gourmet House (Midtown) offers delicious and reasonably priced Chinese cuisine. The scallion pancake is flaky and flavorful, and the hand-pulled noodles are chewy and addictive, with a spicy kick. The lamb is tender, and the cucumbers are fresh and crunchy. Customers describe the food as great, with excellent service, even when the restaurant is busy with dine-in and take-out orders. The environment is a bit cramped, with a small seating area of about 10 small tables, which can lead to longer wait times during busy hours. Parking can be challenging, but metered spots in the area are free on Sundays and holidays. Customers particularly enjoy the spicy lamb noodles, Biang Biang noodle, scallion pancakes, and the mochi red bean deep-fried dessert (pumpkin cake). Vegetarian options are also available, such as stir-fried eggs and tomato soup noodles, cold skin noodles, veggie burgers, cucumber salad, and spring rolls. Overall, Xi'an Gourmet House (Midtown) offers a fantastic value for the quality of cuisine, and portion sizes are generous, making it a spot worth revisiting.

The food is fabulous. The sevice is HORRIBLE. If a customer finishes a portion of noodle and wants extra noodle, they should be able to get it without having to purchase a whole new orde. I used to be able to do this for 4 years, and suddenly with the new server you cannot do so anymore.

Ordered Spocy cumin lamb noodle and this thing is just absolutely great. Next time im back in Atlanta, I definitely coming back to check other items from menu.

They were not kidding when they say it takes forever to get your food here. I read reviews hearing that, but thinking they were probably being dramatic but it did take no kidding almost 30 mins 27 mins when I was counting just to get my dish. Not the craziest thing ever but seems like a consistent thing. I’m also not one to care too much about having extremely good service or particularly a stickler but did seem like a lot of people in the restaurant were waiting , and...read full review
