Mediterranean Express offers a good fusion of Mediterranean and Indian food. The atmosphere has cute decor, with the prettiest twinkling lights and a warm, authentic environment. The food is flavorful and fresh, with everything made fresh. Menu highlights include the “tikka pie,” which is excellent, and the Tikka Flatbread (tikka chicken pizza), which is very good. The Platter with 2 beef kabobs and 1 chicken kabob is tasty and flavorful. The Greek salad is fresh, and the lentil and chicken Indian dishes are fantastic. The butter chicken, butter garlic naan, and curry rice are star hits. The mango lassi is very tasty and made beautifully with sweet, yet tangy authentic flavor. Dessert options like the Pistachio & Ricotta cake are really good, with choices including baklava and rice pudding. There are also a ton of gluten free options. Friendly, attentive service makes this a wonderful neighborhood restaurant.
