“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We worked with Dan from Catering Courier for our Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding weekend-- He was a pleasure to work with from day one. He was very easy to communicate with, and thought of little details we may need to coordinate to help our event run smoothly. He was also great at helping us coordinate with our caterer (Little Rey in Atlanta) to make sure food was delivered on time and that everything we ordered was included with delivery. The food set up was spectacular-- they used a rustic style display that looked very nice and we had many compliments from our guests on food/display. Overall, he was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are so thankful he helped make our rehearsal dinner so special!“

“I have been living in the area for years and finally made the decision to try them out. I wanted something other than fast food - something that felt like a home cooked meal. The food was really good - we got the steak bowl which came with hearty portion sizes of beans, rice, plantains and salsa❤ We will visit them again to try other items on the menu.“

“Had a large regular sandwich, chips & drink and it cost me $21.09 dollars plus tax. I looked at the ticket and found that my drink (a fountain Coke) cost $4.10. Will ask for a price next time. If there is a next time?“

They did an amazing job of putting together a menu quickly and the on-site team was exceptional. “I can not sing Dogwood catering praises enough. Denise was our point person. THANK YOU DENISE! Anything we needed or might possible need was provided. One young man overheard my daughter looking for ranch dressing for my granddaughter and he just magically appeared with a container of ranch. (Oh! The food was amazing too😁). Highly recommend the ravioli. I wish I had pictures.“

“The decor of the restaurant is impressive to say the least - quite unusual and interesting and perfect for a seafood restaurant. The service was excellent, and our waiter was exceptionally polite and available for any assistance we needed. Most importantly, the food was top notch. I had the stuffed flounder filet and it was cooked perfectly and super tasty. The vegetables piled on top of it were also perfectly cooked and very tasty. Finally, the amount of food we got on our platters was impressive. We were quite full after eating.“
“I recommend Catered Southern Event, LLC if you are looking for tasty food. They catered the desserts for my families Thanksgiving celebration this past Saturday. We had over 70 people in attendance. It was a huge hit. We had specialty pumpkin cake, raspberry filled pound cake, blackberry cobbler and apple cobbler. Thank you for making this event a time and taste to remember from the Robbins Family.“

“We used 6ft Chef for our wedding at the Smith-Gilbert Gardens and cannot recommend them enough! Chris is incredibly easy to work with and has been doing this for a long time. He was punctual and blew us away with his service! Highly recommend!!!“
“We used Firefly for drop-off catering services for our microwedding in 2025. It started with a tasting at their home where the food was incredible. There were some tweaks we asked them to make which were all made by wedding day. They were also very open to making the changes we asked for from the original menu. Even if something is not listed on their online menu, they are willing to work with you to see if it's something they can do. The execution day of was slightly off schedule but everything was ready by reception time and we were none the wiser until after the wedding thanks to our coordinator. The meal was one of the highlights of the night and our guests still rave about the food today!“

“As a foodie, cook and wedding DJ for 30 years I have lots of experience with most of the catering companies in the Lower Mainland. I used to rate 5-Star as good for quality but VERY good for value. Over the last couple of years they've changed their culinary team and OMG they are freaking amazing now yet still have awesome pricing! The one dish that they weren't great at was always the roast beef but now it is spectacular! In fact it's probably the best there is! I asked the chef about it and he explained their involved cooking method which I'd never heard of but please keep doing it! I can't wait to have it again! They have to be THE best value around for sure!!“
