I love sushi Omakase but I've never tried Wagyu Omakase before so it was def worth the experience. The last time I had Wagyu was AYCE Wagyu @ Hyun in NYC lol. I went here when they first opened last year (late post as always lol) & had a great time. Service was impeccable with beautiful & cozy ambiance as well. Great place for a date (;
This was our first time at Prefecture and tried their 8 course omakase. The omakase menu features a lot of wagyu so I would recommend trying their a la carte menu if you think it could be too rich. Overall we felt like $185 for this menu was very worth it; we ended up adding truffle to one of our courses (+$20 to base price). After eating we didn't feel like the meal was overly heavy or rich. Food was amazing and service was impeccable. The 8 course tasting menu and Sake pairing was worth every penny. Went for my birthday and they did not disappoint. Angela was the best. Very personable and knowledgeable in regards to menu options, Sakes and history. Compliments to the chef!!!
