Some of the best sushi we have ever had.
I had an incredible time at Yuji! I was visiting Atlanta for a concert, and decided to come here on my last night (March 3rd, 2026) before flying home as a treat. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was very high quality and the option for actual grated wasabi root really made me happy.
I have new mobility issues, yet look healthy, and I'm only 30, so I was concerned about bringing in my walker and where it could be stowed or how someone would perceive me with it.

Yuji Modern Japanese offers incredible food and a beautiful aesthetic in Midtown. The staff are super kind and professional, providing A+ customer service at the bar. Customer can enjoy great sushi roll, shrimp tempura, king salmon sashimi, crispy tuna and a delicate sashimi app. The Smoking Jacket cocktail, a French 76 and Japanese vodka are popular drinks, and mocktails are also available. The option for actual grated wasabi root adds high quality flavor, and the flavor of each dish is good even when a crispy tuna piece is a bit hard and stale. The location has direct entrance to a parking garage, though parking is not validated and can be pricey. Seating is fast with no wait or reservations, perfect for an early dinner while waiting for Friday traffic to calm down. The beltline is right nearby for a walk after a meal. Customers enjoy conversation about sushi journeys and Japanese culture with enthusiasm. The experience is exceptional every time and highly recommend for a solo date or a night out.
