“We were looking for a good bite after midnight in Atlanta, which is virtually impossible, when we stumbled upon this place in Duluth. This place is a hidden mom and pop gem!

The lychee highballs were deliciously dangerous. The sushi was fresh and of good quality. Takoyaki and shrimp tempura hit my seafood craving. Beef skewers were so tender and juicy. And above all the staff is very welcoming attentive, and friendly. With it being open late, it truly holds the right to name itself an Izakaya.

“NoriFish was a great omakase experience. I've tried several high-end omakase restaurants, so I was excited to see how this one compared, especially at its lower price point. It held its own: the food was delicious and the service was attentive and warm.

They offer two omakase options. We chose the smaller one and still left full. With a drink and tip, it came to about $150 per person, a solid value for the quality. Free 3-hour parking is a nice bonus too.

It’s run by a wife and husband and their daily hours are limited which allows for the food to be 10/10 also really recommended placing a reservation prior to going or else you might be turned away as they have only a limited amount of tables to also help the experience and be tended to in the best way. The sushi and sashimi is so fresh and delightful not in anyways fishy! We also had the beef skewer and that was also phenomenal! They knew we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and brought out extra treats for us and made this experience 100 times better, if that’s even possible! “I actually found Bobo Izakaya through TikTok! While I was looking for new places to celebrate for a birthday dinner date, Bobo Izakaya intrigued me with their private tatami rooms and amazing prices. Though we opted against selecting the private room this go-round, I'm definitely looking forward to returning for the full experience as I haven't found many places in Metro ATL that have them.

The Chicken Tempura Udon was great and flavorful, and my date really enjoyed the Bobo Roll and Yellow Jacket roll, inspired by Georgia Tech of course. As it was his birthday, the restaurant truly made the night special by generously giving us our dessert (the Matcha Ice Cream) on the house.

Underneath is a bed of fried rice that was just so good with an omelet layered on top of it. They give you 3 sauce choices Spicy Kewpie Mayo, Ketchup, and Tonkatsu sauce. I chose the spicy mayo which by the way wasn't spicy at all I could have ate a ton of that stuff with no problem and those that know me know I don't handle spice well lol. Yebisuya Bun: is basically a steamed bun with chicory, scallion, and I got it with Tonkatsu pork in it and yall when I tell yall I could have ate 10 of these bad boys. The bun was so soft and the filling was sooooo flavorful like you just have to try it.
