“This is my second time visiting. The first time the food wasn’t good it was too SALTY! I decided to try them again and it was good!!!! It WASN’T salty this time! Really good! I don’t know if they changed cooks, but keep the recipe as is. Will be back again.“

Tonight they were busy because a large party arrived before we did. The seated is at a table and made sure we were served and got our food without delay. They even gave us a free desert. “My rating definitely has more so to do with the staff and service. They were good people and made the experience there enjoyable. My husband loved his sashimi. We didn't try the hibachi but based on the volume of people that were there on Saturday night, we might need to try that.“

“Party of 8, we had a private room right at the front desk. The foods were amazing. The menu is very extensive, love the colorful photos. The dishes came out just like the photos. We tried everything. Fishes were high quality. Rolls were great. Vegetables tempura were very good, the shrimp tempura was average. The soft shell crab salad was a favorite, so was the toro. Desserts were awesome. 2 thumbs up.“

“I personally LOVED this place. Everything we ordered from appetizers to rolls to desserts were all a delight! I usually don't lean towards sushi rolls, but these are some of the best I've had! The garlic pepper toro roll and the 24k roll were both 5/5 stars! Everything we ordered we loved! The desert here is amazing as well! “I loved the food, the service was excellent, but I have to note something that I had to bring up with the manager, who by the way was our waitress as well. When I arrived with my husband the restaurant was at about half capacity. We were promptly seated at a small table near the rear. As the capacity grew, I noticed that 2 additional couples had been seated in the same section at the same type of smaller table. I mention this because, the only 3 African American couples in the restaurant were seated near the rear, at these smaller tables, while other couples were seated at larger tables near the rear or at tables closer to the front of the restaurant. Maybe this was a huge coincidence, but none the less I brought this to the attention of the manager, who immediately stated that the restaurant was not racist. I informed her that I was not stating that. The service and food were great, but the optics of the situation did not look good and that they should acknowledge that behavior and correct it in the future.“

“I had my birthday celebration at Silom Thai for 19 people. Service was incredible for that large of a party and they let us do a la carte instead of a set menu (which is difficult to find for a party that large). Food and drink were delicious as well! “Now this is how you do sushi! I booked the lunch omakase for a birthday gift to myself and it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is great. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. She explained everything and when it came to add on she was informative and not pushy. The space is super cute. There is the food bar where the chef is making the sushi. There is also a smaller bar in the back. In the middle is a sitting area with a couch and chairs. The music matched the experience. You can tell this was well thought out. The food! The best sushi I have ever had. The flow of the menu was perfection. From the refresher to the dessert. At the end the chef made sure to talked to each customer and ask about their experience. I can not wait to go back. Run , don't walk, to try this place out. You will fall in love with sushi.“

“First time at Saka-E.I ordered 3 special rolls (Trust Me, Caterpillar, Rainbow) and some Sashimi.There was nothing wrong with Sashimi. They were fresh and cleanly cut, and the presentation was well executed.However, the rolls were quite lacking, and this was a big deal for me since I’m more of a rolls guy than a Sashimi guy.1. Rolls were small and had stingy amounts of ingredients on the inside, resulting in the majority of its composition being made up of rice.2. Rolls were pretty much flavorless and no amount of soy sauce could fix it. Probably the result of the rolls having so much rice and very little of the other ingredients.3. Caterpillar roll didn’t come topped with eel sauce and they included tiny bits of eel on the inside. On the contrary, they included huge chunks of cream cheese so that’s literally all i could taste; yuck!If in the future I am looking for sashimi, then maybe, just maybe, I would return. However, I don’t see myself going back to Saka-E for their bland rolls.PS - Their salad dressing and miso soup were on point and delicious.“

Have very limited capacity and your order might take a while to cook, but it's always great experience!Because there is limited seating and the chef does not have unlimited energy, you should call before you enter the store to make reservations.If you are new to the restaurant, I strongly recommend you to order their bento box special (A, B, C).“

“This place was so good. The menu is HUGE, but you call when you're ready, so there's no pressure to rush through it. But I recommend looking ahead of time because you only have 2 hours once seated. They have this crazy conveyor belt thingy with sushi that goes around, and you can just grab whatever looks yummy. For entrees we ordered the lemongrass grilled chicken (Grilled chicken, marinated in fresh lemongrass. “Well priced meal and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. We’ve been in search of a Thai place and this may be it. My 7 year old loved her “katsu” kids boat meal- she’s very picky and so we were nervous about taking her to a Thai place, but one look at that boat that her food came in pretty much sold her. It’s such a relief when we can find a restaurant we are all happy with, SriThai really nailed it for us.I ordered the Pad Thai and my husband ordered Pad Prik with chicken which came with white rice. Both were fantastic and my husband said when we go back that he is going to order it again, he loved it that much. We also ordered soft shell crab- good but not necessarily memorable and some salmon nigiri which I thought was very good.We finished dinner with the coconut mango rice which was phenomenal. Generous with the coconut milk and fresh mango and I’m still dreaming about it post dinner. So yum. Very fair prices IMO. We will definitely be back.“

“A fusion Asian restaurant with a mix of Korean and Chinese cuisine. The interior was nicely decorated and the servers were friendly. The pig's feet were good, the nurungji stew was good, and the atmosphere was nice. However, the food was a bit sweet for me. All in all, it was worth eating. “Amazing experience! This is easily the best sushi in town. I happened upon Sushi Yoshino by luck - with no expectations. Each dish was exceptional. We tried the Caliente Roll, the classic Spicy Tuna, Rose Roll, and melt-in-your-mouth fatty salmon nigiri. We were swooning at the table. I highly recommend coming here!“

“I never got any food poisoning and I tried 3 different items. I loved the creativity with the sushi. I got the sushi donut (salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, crab salad), sushi corndog, and sushi pizza (salmon). Service was good. Staff was nice. There are benches to sit at if you don’t come at a busy time. “The name says it’s all. Fish Market Resturant.This mom and pop shop earned my business. We decided to come after eyeing it for a while. Inside, there’s an open kitchen with many fish tanks. The resturant is kind of small. Maybe 4 tables max. But a party up to 6 can dine comfortably.The menu was in Korean but the owner was able to help us order. We ordered the sashimi platter for 2 people. This platter comes with various side dishes such as edamame, seaweed salad, fish pancake, fried napa pancakes, and mushroom.The sashimi platter was really fresh and tasted sooo good. My only complaint with the platter is the sashimi selection. While I don’t mind eating anything that was served, the resturant should offer more sashimi options.“

“I've always enjoyed the sushi from here. They are relatively fast with orders, I've only ever seen two people working, I assume it's the owners. Well, those two people are the reason I had to write a review. My boyfriend and I decided while shopping we wanted sushi so we decided to pop in and place a to-go order. While we were waiting, the woman came up to us with the warmest smile on her face asking if she could get us a drink or some miso soup. We said that we were ok, and she said something along the lines of ok sorry for the wait! Even though it had only been like three min since placing the order. You could just tell they were putting their all into the service and food. We got our food back very quickly (very quick since we saw the same man make both of our roles- both came out beautifully) and it was amazing.... I've eaten here many times so I knew what I was getting. The cherry on top was when the woman came behind with to go soup and said I just wanted to send you both home with some soup I wish I had enough money to buy sushi from them every night. “This has quickly become a go-to spot for sushi in my neighborhood. The menu is extensive so there’s always an opportunity to try something new and so far, everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. My only complaint is that I haven’t loved very many of the cocktails that I’ve ordered. They’re always incredibly strong (which is not always a complaint to everyone) but not to my taste personally. Otherwise, this is a restaurant that I recommend often and fervently.“

This is probably my family's favorite place to go regularly for casual sushi, though I do find the original midtown location superior to this one when I am able to get there. My main issue with this now is that it is small and with a very limited number of 4+ seat tables. It seems like it has gotten more popular, which is great, but when the outdoor seating isn't in play, be prepared to wait for a table especially if your party is larger than 2.Original Review: Really good Japanese food. They have good sushi and sashimi but what really sets them apart is their deeper Japanese fare. They have Ramen, but also Soba, Katsu, and Okonomyaki (and a good Takoyaki app). Back to the Sushi, it's always good to check their specials board (unfortunately located past most of the tables next to the Sushi bar) as they regularly have things like Toro/Otoro, Uni, and fresh Wasabi. It will cost you but is worth it if you are an aficianado.“

“I frequent this location and finally decided to try out their food. I ordered:1. Mountain Roll2. Spider Roll3. Rainbow Roll4. Fish Salad BowlMy order came with some side dishes. I'm not sure if the side dishes are a part of the rolls or the Fish Salad Bowl but it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. I also received two bowls of miso soup, which were delicious.All of their rolls were at least decent but my favorite was the Mountain Roll, which I found to be delicious. The Rainbow Roll was well made as well, but this is more of a classic that every restaurant carries. Another classic, which is the Spider Roll, was my least favorite of the three. Maybe it had to do with the fact that it came soaked in eel sauce. I didn't find their eel sauce to be that tasty and being drenched in it didn't help.The fish salad bowl was pretty good. It came with cuts of cheap fish such as salmon and tilapia... but it being a $20 dish made it understandable.Overall, good experience for the price you pay. Seemed like a very reasonably priced restaurant and quality of the food was good.PS - I didn't take pictures of the rolls because I dumped my to-go boxes upside down so the rolls were a mess.“

“We went during the day and the lighting was very low. We initially thought the place was closed. They turned up the lighting once we were seated. The sushi was good and pics are provided. The tea wasn't good at all. The tea was like a blend of tea and coffee. The service was OK. I will probably come back and do takeout.“
