Literally everything was incredible. Make sure you try the lychee martini! If sake is what you’re craving, order a bottle of the Big Hawk. It pairs perfectly with everything on their menu.“

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming thanks to the wonderful staff and the owner, who has such a kind, genuine personality. “Tofu poke bowl with kale and cucumbers is really, really good, would probably add a little extra spice to the order next time for my tastes. Also, miso soup is good, too; not the BEST, but better than some of the misos I've had at other establishments ( even more traditional Japanese spots ) over the the past few years. Service was polite, friendly, and helpful. They have some canned drinks there I've never seen before anywhere else that look delicious ( punch, lychee, etc. ) but I didn't get any of those on this trip.“

“This was our second try at a poke bar in Sandy Springs and between the two that we tried, I think that this was our favorite. Both were similar in vibe (and actually both empty on a Friday evening) which is quick service with the ability to build a bowl with customized toppings after you choose your base and protein(s). There were a number of preset bowls that you could choose or you can customize everything from the start. We liked the fact that they had Korean BBQ as protein choices, and the spiciness was more approachable than the other bar that we tried. One thing that we did realize is that the difference between the small and medium bowl was marginal, if at all. The small bowl was filled more and the ingredients got smashed a little, but the volume that went into both of them looked similar. Both were delicious and I would definitely choose this one again. The one thing that this did not offer was the poke burrito option, but having tried that at the other poke bar, I decided that I would prefer the poke bowl anyway. The burrito option being filled as full as I wanted it tended to fall apart during consumption anyway, so the bowl would have been more convenient. This is now my official favorite poke bar in the area.“

“Hands down, the best sushi I've ever had. They incorporate truffle oil in some of their rolls and if you like truffle, you cannot go wrong. Very savory. I'd recommend the avocado balls, crunchy spicy tuna roll and the snow crab in miso soup. The truffle aioli salmon appetizer is another hit. The cocktails - Wow! Thai Me Up is a their version of a spicy margarita but they use some sort of oil and it is delicious! I'll be craving that drink for a long time. It's not cheap but if you're looking for a treat or have a special occasion, it's a full recommend from me! Thank you goes out to Kelly, our server, who steered us towards the fantastic dish selections.“

“OK, my first trip to this restaurant. I've seen it for decades.
I took two of my daughters and treating them to a really good lunch.

Everything really was tasty and done pretty well. My oldest daughter actually works at a really high-end restaurant in Alpharetta. at the Avalon!

She's about to become the floor manager of their new location in Peachtree Corners.
She's 29 years old and has served billionaires in South Florida at one of the most exclusive clubs outside of Marago!

“I've only had food delivered but holy cow it's a revelation. The hulihuli chicken is superb, the salmon is almost as good but the shrimp was killer.

Plus I could eat nothing but macaroni salad and be completely satisfied.“

If someone who is not your server notices your drink needs a refill, or your table needs to be cleared, they swoop in and take care of it. “Amazing sushi! I was nearby for a conference and discovered this place at the food hall in Colony Square. I wasn’t incredibly hungry and ordered the Sashimi sampler and miso soup. Both great! The sashimi sampler is a great choice when you can’t decide between which fish to order. My go-tos are yellowtail and tuna but man, the salmon was delicious and better than most places I’ve ordered salmon from. All the fish I had was super fresh! The staff was super friendly! “We typically get takeout from Budi’s Sushi a couple of times per month. The food is always so fresh and tasty. We are lucky that it’s walking distance so we’ll walk over with the dogs and one of us will sit outside with them while the other orders, and they always give us water for the Dogs. Everything from their soups, and appetizers to the rolls are worth trying. We typically wind up with enough left over to have a snack the next day too!“

“Sushi was fresh and excellent quality. However, it was all accompanied with the same simple soy sauce. The Hibatchi Shrimp was over cooked and lacked flavor. Appetizers were ok. We spent $300 for three people. An ok experience but nothing exceptional.“

Got the shawarma plate. It came with two of my favorites as sides, corn, and pickles. The first thing I did is put a little of the sauce on the pita bread and it was so good so I put some of the sauce on the shawarma and I thought that was really good too... Until I tried the shawarma without the sauce. It was so flavorful and tender, it didn't need the sauce. I can't wait to go back for lunch tomorrow.“
