The fish is flown in from Japan, and it shows. More importantly, it tastes like it.

Every course felt intentional—from the pristine nigiri to the beautifully plated seasonal bites and hand rolls. The quality of the fish was immediately apparent: rich, clean, buttery, and incredibly fresh. Several pieces were among the best I’ve had anywhere, not just in Georgia but New York as well.

What made this experience even more special was sharing it with my wife. Before NoriFish, sushi was never really her thing. She would go with me because she knew I enjoyed it, but it was never something she actively craved. Since our meal, she hasn’t stopped talking about it and keeps asking when we’re going back. That alone says more than any review I could write.

As someone who hopes to take my wife to Japan one day, seeing her genuinely fall in love with this style of dining made me incredibly happy. NoriFish didn’t just serve us an amazing meal—it opened the door to an experience I can’t wait to share with her again in the future.

The service was polished, the pacing was perfect, and every course felt like it belonged in a much larger food city than Atlanta. You can tell there is real care behind every detail.

“Hands down, the best sushi I've ever had. They incorporate truffle oil in some of their rolls and if you like truffle, you cannot go wrong. Very savory. I'd recommend the avocado balls, crunchy spicy tuna roll and the snow crab in miso soup. The truffle aioli salmon appetizer is another hit. The cocktails - Wow! Thai Me Up is a their version of a spicy margarita but they use some sort of oil and it is delicious! I'll be craving that drink for a long time. It's not cheap but if you're looking for a treat or have a special occasion, it's a full recommend from me! “I've been an avid lover of Circle Sushi for well over 20 years. I used to live only a couple of miles away. I moved but I still make the drive if I want the best sushi in town. The sushi chef has been there since they opened and he always works his magic with a smile. It's the freshest and tastiest fish I've found. My favorite is the yellowtail and salmon sashimi. I recommend the Chirashi Donburi with tuna, yellowtail and salmon. They give you more than enough sashimi atop their flavorful rice. I have found no other sushi restaurant with a shrimp tempura appetizer as wonderfully battered as Circle Sushi's. Another appetizer favorite is the pork shumai. Dumpling LOVE! The service is always fast and friendly. I recommend making a reservation by phone. They get busy early. The ambiance is quiet if they are slow but bustling when they are busy.“

However, for someone sensitive to texture, some of the sushi was a bit challenging to eat due to the mix of soft, crunchy, and chewy pieces. Some flavors were incredibly bold and left me craving more. The service was excellent, though I did notice that the prices have increased significantly.

Extensive wine selection, and they make the sushi in sight of the dining room. Very fresh food, and they have some that is cooked, if sushi is not the thing for everyone in your party. Someone in our family has allergies, and they were able to accommodate them completely. No letdown of food quality or variety as they made sure it was safe for all.“

“I asked Mrs. K. what she wanted for dinner and she said, "Poké!" so I let Yelp find it for us along the way to where we're spending the night. We arrived at Poké Bar (it's a chain) at around 7pm on Friday and other than three other dudes eating their dinner and drinking some boba, we were alone.

We noticed that the restaurant was clean as we checked over the poké bar, other than a whole lot of boxes stacked in the back. As we ordered our bowl, the tuna ran out but the young man serving pulled out a fresh tray from the cooler and removed the wrap. Yay!

On a sticky white rice base, tuna and salmon, topped with spicy avocado, seaweed salad, krab salad and sesame seeds. With a bit of wasabi on the side that was not needed as the fish was perfectly fresh tasting. The rice was sticky enough that we did not need a fork and we cleared the plate. Quite delicious, filling and fresh tasting.

We'd eat at Poké Bar again!
