“It's been a long time...I've missed you all.Stopped by The One while taking care of a Honey-Do list that involved stomping around near where we previously lived. Impromptu date day with the missus. We had the Chanel Replica and Double Decker Rolls with Shrimp Fried Rice.I enjoyed the "Dive In" Cocktail with my lunch and present company. We came during lunch and it wasn't packed. Thr food was delicious, our server was extremely gracious as was a woman that may be the owner/manager.The price point is one where I'd suggest you come ready with your disposable income, but everything is WELL worth the costs. Not a budget breaking experience, but you def shouldn't come here with rabbit ears. All in all, I highly recommend The One and when you stop by, tell them I sent you. They don't know me, but this is how things get better for us all.“
“I have been coming since June they always give such amazing customer service they General tso is amazing I come from mcdonough for it the have made even more changes to make it More comfortable and beautiful it’s always very clean. The owners are always involved in here on site truly care about their business.“
“I hardly write reviews, but had to give a huge shoutout to our favorite sushi spot in Atlanta for their incredible service last night. I’m gluten free and 4 months pregnant so with those two things combined most sushi places would be off limits but not Eight! Our server took the time to walk me through everything on the menu I could still order and even things off menu they could make for me. We landed on the king crab nigiri and off menu avocado shrimp roll with gluten free soy sauce. Both items were fantastic. Our sweet server even brought out this adorable congratulatory dessert at the end! Thanks for another great meal Eight!“
“Loved everything about this omakase tasting menu! The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The cocktails were also creative and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!Parking: Parking is available for free in the adjacent garage.“
“O-Ku never misses, and this restaurant is literally my favorite place in Atlanta. My fiance and I were celebrating our Birthdays and Joe and Jazmine really made this birthday special for us. We were greeted by Joe, who is always super friendly and inviting. He also added beautiful flowers to the table due to the occasion. Our waitress, Jazmine, was also super friendly and knowledgeable and added the final touches to a perfect date night/celebration. As always, thanks for the great time =D“
“This is not a restaurant. It is an experience.Although I've done fine dining, I've never been to a Michelin star restaurant, and they did not disappoint. They knew me by face upon entering, any waiter/waitress/sommelier in my vincity was mine, my water was never empty, the music selection was vast, and the atmosphere was chic, intimate, and neat.As the only single diner, I was placed right in front of one of the 3 chefs, so I had a clear view of all preparation. Since it is omakase, there is no point in saying what I had because you'll likely have something totally different. They do have "supplements" that are constant to my knowledge, and I had the foie gras monaka. Everything I ate had a layers of flavors. A literal oral symphony. The uni (sea urchin) is indescribable. The bathroom had a bidet, which is a first in any restaurant I've been to, everyone is knowledgeable and warm, they had Japanese chopsticks ( there is a difference in chopsticks!) and anytime I need to get up there was someone to pull my chair out and push me in.I could go on and on. As a teacher, I can't do experiences like this often, so it was just a pure delight for me.Just go. It is so worth every cent spent.“
“Really special experience, unmatched in Atlanta. Pricey, obviously, but it almost transcends dining. The food quality can't be overstated. Sake recs were top notch. The kind of "above and beyond" service you only get at a place like this. The chef is so personable and engaging.“
“This is the first Japanese restaurant in America that we can recommend to Americans. Is this Japanese food in most restaurants? There are many traditional Japanese flavors and dishes, but this one is just Japanese food, and when I miss Japanese food, that normality permeates my stomach. I recommend it.“
“My husband and I love this place! The sushi here is unique and top notch! The ambiance is low-lit, almost speakeasy-ish. We always get the legally blonde and a star is born. You have to get a star is born. It’s delicious. Mama Mia is also really good.Lychi martini is their best drink in my opinion.Sticky toffee cake for dessert. You can never go wrong here. They never miss.“
“Ate here tonight! Such a cute & decently priced place. The appetizer (spicy cheese karaage) I got was absolutely delicious and the matcha cheesecake was perfect. I can’t wait to come back again! Our server wasn’t the most present but it was quite busy (even on a Wednesday night).Parking: You can pay to park in a nearby lot but can get it validated!“
“Food was good, but nothing outstanding for the prices, so that's why a four out of five. My favorite was probably the picante roll. We ordered ayedeshi tofu, veggie and pork gyoza, sonomono seaweed salad, miso soup, ramen, 9pc chef choice platter, picante roll, California roll, mochi and green tea ice cream. The cocktail I had was fun and beers were fine. I liked the two different servers/hostess we had, but the service was a little slow.“
“I came here last night for an 8pm dinner reservation to celebrate one of my friends' birthdays. We were a party of 10 and the restaurant was not super busy, save for a couple other tables. We took a couple minutes to decide on our orders, but our server was very patient and made no mistakes. I ordered the Pork Gyoza, Nabeyaki Udon, and the Matcha pound cake for dessert. Let me preface this by saying I've had better Japanese food in Atlanta, but that this place wasn't BAD. It was just "okay". The gyoza filling was tasty, but the wrap itself was quite dry. The udon was very warm and had a ton of noodles inside, but there was 1 singular shrimp tempura, two fish cakes, and maybe ten or so pieces of slightly overcooked chicken. Still a decent bowl of hot soup noodles. Finally, the matcha cake wasn't spectacular but I enjoyed the sweet treat at the end of my meal.“
“I have been looking for a great sushi spot ever since I moved out of the city and this place is a 10/10 for me! I loved seeing the chefs as soon as we walked through the door. The atmosphere was cozy and well-designed. The wait staff was very friendly. And the food was out of this world! We tried a few things- the vegetable tempura and shishamo to start, and then the Happy Roll, Yum Yum Roll, and Orange Blossom. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and delicious! This will be our new go-to whenever we get a craving for sushi.“
“I personally LOVED this place. Everything we ordered from appetizers to rolls to desserts were all a delight! I usually don't lean towards sushi rolls, but these are some of the best I've had! The garlic pepper toro roll and the 24k roll were both 5/5 stars! Everything we ordered we loved! The desert here is amazing as well! Service was good and attentive, parking here is Valet only so keep that in mind!“
“Literally the best sushi I've ever had!!! The sake we had was magnificent, if you are in Atlanta you need to visit The Kinjo Room!! We were absolutely blown away, we will be coming back to Atlanta just for this restaurant. Our waitress was phenomenal, the food was majestic, and the all around atmosphere was marvelous!“
“I loved the food, the service was excellent, but I have to note something that I had to bring up with the manager, who by the way was our waitress as well. When I arrived with my husband the restaurant was at about half capacity. We were promptly seated at a small table near the rear. As the capacity grew, I noticed that 2 additional couples had been seated in the same section at the same type of smaller table. I mention this because, the only 3 African American couples in the restaurant were seated near the rear, at these smaller tables, while other couples were seated at larger tables near the rear or at tables closer to the front of the restaurant. Maybe this was a huge coincidence, but none the less I brought this to the attention of the manager, who immediately stated that the restaurant was not racist. I informed her that I was not stating that. The service and food were great, but the optics of the situation did not look good and that they should acknowledge that behavior and correct it in the future.“
“This place did not disappoint on any level from the time I walked in the door. This is a great place to come and have an evening with friends or date nite with that special someone. I order the crab ragoon which came out hot and delicious. Sushi was all fresh as well and my entree (Nam Tok) hit on all cylinders. Stop in and be blown away!“
“After a few visits to Katana, I have to say that the service and food quality has been consistently wonderful. The sushi is fresh and beautifully prepared & presented. The cooked items are cooked to order and have been delicious. The waitstaff is always welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is comfortable & nicely decorated. We look forward to each of our return visits.“
“We were craving for sushi and decided to try this well-established restaurant that has been around for 30+ years. It was a very cute place tucked behind a shopping plaza. For appetizers we got the shrimp teriyaki and the Kara-Age chicken, which was the perfect starter while we waited for our entrees. For entrees we got the salmon sashimi, spicy tuna roll, caterpillar roll and the sukiyaki dinner. The sukiyaki dinner came with salad, miso soup and a bowl of rice. The salmon sashimi was extremely fresh and melted in my mouth. The servings were very generous and we did not leave hungry. The owner/staff were very nice and treated us like family.“
“This is our second time visiting the restaurant and we are not disappointed. The entrees were delicious. The only odd thing was one of the sushi items was really small and we had thought we'd be sharing a roll. It was not really explained very well. Aside from that, everything else was terrific. I hope it's a success.“
“Super fun place to eat! The food is great and the robots that bring your drinks are so cool! They also have really great customer service. I was confused on my bill and customer support responded right away. They explained everything in a very friendly and helpful way so that I understood. Highly recommend for a fun night out or special occasion!Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs.“
“I wish I could give it even more than 5 stars. This restaurant has been time-tested by us and we will return here again and again! The employees are always friendly and try to do everything in their power to ensure that customers enjoy their time! The food is excellent, as usual.“
“I’m impressed every time I come here. First off their lychee martini is one of the best in atlanta! Super tasty and strong. Their sushi apps and rolls are divine. So fresh and really creative pairings. I just brought my sushi loving husband here for date night and he absolutely loved it too. The miso cod blew our mind!! 10/10 recommend this spot!!!“
“I had my birthday celebration at Silom Thai for 19 people. Service was incredible for that large of a party and they let us do a la carte instead of a set menu (which is difficult to find for a party that large). Food and drink were delicious as well! Excited to go back when I can concentrate more on the menu :)“
“I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Delicious! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is terrific! Can't wait to return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The 3 dishes I tried were all very very good. Japanese pancake, Korean chicken, miso ramen. I want to try all their ramen.Update: I've been back a half a dozen times, and I have nothing negative to say. Just very good food. Specials are creative and well done! Wish I could add a star for consistency. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Great bar opened up to the 70 degree March weather. Staff was professional and hard working and had everything handled around us. Food was OK I had beef and pork eggrolls which were great, and chicken curry which was so so. My friend really liked his entree though I can’t remember what it was. Everyone seemed really happy to be there and it raised my opinion of the Windy Hill area up a notch. I’ll give it another shot next time I’m there and try something different…“
“Our first dining experience here. We felt like we were eating in a cherry blossom garden. Fresh fish and flavor combinations we haven’t seen before. Lots of choices, beautifully plated. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff is very attentive and nice. Can’t believe this gem has been in the middle of Sandy Springs for several years and we just found it. They also have a large outdoor patio that we will try on our next visit, soon.“
“Ru Sans is a ever evolving restaurant. The relatively new ownership has only improved an already great quality restaurant that has more of a friendly neighborhood feel. It has traditional Japanese sushi but many American friendly additions have been made over the years to the menu. I recommend it now more than ever.Parking: The Tower Place parking deck is paid parking but Ru Sans validates for 2 hours free“
“Excellent service, especially from the lady who is always very friendly. Soft music. The bubble tea she makes on the spot is wonderful. I tried the taro flavor. Delicious ? I don't know how to use the chopstick, so I take my adapter ???“
“Omakase by Yun is an incredible dinner experience! The service was impeccable, and the food was fresh, immersive, and delicious. We particularly loved the Big Mac, lean tuna, sashimi selections, sake tasting and cocktails. Chef Yun was welcoming and attentive. And the mixologist Chauncey (Taylor) created some of the best cocktails we've had. On top of all that, the music and vibe were 10/10. Highly recommend!“
“They fixed it when I went back to get a refund.I ordered vegetable pho with tofu. I might as well have ordered veggies only because there was barely any tofu. I asked if this was the correct serving size for tofu and they said yes. I’m not ever coming back to this restaurant. For the same price, you get more at Pho 24 across the street. I should’ve went there instead of trying something new.“
“Nice place. Enjoyed everything I ate. I think the spider roll was a bit bland, maybe not enough sauce, but not completely sure what was missing. Other than that, seemed like a nice place. Nice selection as well. They have Uni, which I find to be a little more rare lately, so that was a plus. But I didn’t get it since it was a tad out of my price range.Service was good, the server made sure to stop by periodically to check on me. I would go again, but will try other things to see how some cooked items are, as well as other rolls.“
“Alex was our bartender and he, alone, was AMAZING, let alone the cocktails he was serving!! The Yuzu was INCREDIBLE. 12/10 recommend! ??? The food sushi was perfect, we had zero complaints. SO GOOD! And fast service! But the cocktails are 1009% what sets this pace (once/if you get in) apart! SO. SO good!!!idk if I would have ordered the Yuzu without Alex convincing me that I would love it, and THANK GOODNESS I listed because DAYUUUM!??????“
“this restaurant is amazing. service was great i wish i got the server name. beef jerky top tier. me and my family tried multiple dish from the menu and nothin disappointed. i had the pineapple hawaiian bowl and it was just so good. the gyozu was perfect. wings so good. crab ragoon good. basil fried rice good. even the water was good. im so happy i came here everything was perfect for my brother’s birthday.“
“This place was amazing. The customer service was great. The food came out hot and fresh. The food size portion is nice. Our kids(3&8) are picky eaters but surprisingly loved the calamari and sushi. They have been asking to go back, which we will. You will not be disappointed.“
“We came here for a lunch with work colleagues and I had an amazing time. The food was good. The service was good. The prices were good. I got sesame chicken and fried rice, dumplings as an appetizer, with a Thai tea. My total was right at $35. Everything tasted amazing. The portions were good enough that I was full and didn’t need to eat again until dinner. The restaurant was open and inviting. There are really big windows that look out onto the street and the area they are in is pretty. It’s walking distance to a lot of other things as well, so if you’re out and want to explore the area this is a good spot to stop at for food. Parking is just down the street and only a few dollars. The restaurant also validates. There is enough space in here for a group to eat comfortably. The decor is authentic and beautiful as well. You’ll enjoy your experience here.“
“My dinner at Ray's was a simply magical! Tee was our waitress and she was superb! Tee communicated clearly, got all of the meals delivered at almost the same time for our party of 15. All drink orders were correct and she even delivered hot towels after dinner.“
“Great place for Thai. Restaurant is close to my office, so I have had lunch there quite a few times. Lunch service is fast and never overcrowded for lunch. Prices are in line for the area and may seem a little high but not for the Emory location.“
“My hubby and I got wings(yum) green curry(YUM!) and cheesecake (YUM) and I don't even like cheesecake like that and I'm so used to chicken in my green curry but I forgot to select chicken however I didn't miss it ( I may add my own chicken later ?) but seriously the green curry and just veggies is still ? chef's kiss! There's plenty of places around but I like that they're near by and we've only ordered delivery once before and now we're pleased again. I'll be tempted to go to the restaurant itself for my birthday on Saturday ? oh and even though the lemon pepper sauce was separate from the wings which is different for me they're still good and have nice crisp to them.Vegetarian options: You can opt for just veggies in the dishes.“
“An emory staple. This place has my favorite falafel and shawarma in Atlanta. They recently raised prices, however, the food is still fully worth the price. Especially the mixed sandwich. Please check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!“
“Great casual spot. BYOB from the store next door. Eating on disposable dinnerware which I think contributed to the quaint & cozy vibe. Food was tasty. Just wish it was a little more organized- lunch specials were still on display at like 8:30 & you're pretty much left alone to navigate the menu & order from a QR code. Waitstaff mainly functions to bring your order (but they're super friendly & you can still ask questions when they come by).“
“It's always a great experience here. I am GF and always looking for a sushi spot. AFM made sure everything hit the spot. I have visited a few times over the last couple of months, and all the meals are wonderful! Can't wait to go again!“
“This is one of the best meals we've had in ages. Incredible food but the service was just phenomenal! Ordered the papaya salad and soft shell crab. Split both and still had food to take home. The wine list is also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed and cannot wait to go back.“
“We have been coming here for years! This place is a family favorite. The food is amazing it looks amazing, and the waiter is so nice ? she let us change our order when my mom said the wrong thing. The wait is always worth it!? Make sure that you call for a reservation because it is popular! ?“
“Had last minute dinner here while passing by and it was a great choice! The combo dinners are a great deal and you get a decent amount of food for the price, especially for Japanese cuisine. The only hiccup was they got our order wrong but was quickly fixed, but we had also seen a table next to us get the wrong order. Very small space but we were seated quickly on a Sunday night. Space is tight so it was awkward to balance a purse in the seat and also make sure it won’t get knocked over. There’s a designated parking lot in the back and other parking options nearby.Parking: Tight lot in the back. Host can tell you more options at a nearby restaurant/street.“
“Stopped in for dinner on vacation with my wife and two children. We were all incredibly impressed. We had the calamari, fried rice, and a few rolls; all of them were excellent. Teddy was fantastic at making suggestions and made the experience even more enjoyable.“
“I went here after a Braves game and from what I can remember (I had a few too many tequilas) it was sooo yummy. I got the spicy tuna sushi burrito and it was very spicy so be prepared. I won't lie my stomach was lowkey torn up the next day but sometimes sushi does that to me so idk fam. Overall it was good!“
“Staff is super friendly, which is a plus in Atlanta. Food is superb absolute quality. No cutting corners in this establishment. My toddler literally finished his plate, which says a lot. Prices are worthy of your hard earned ?. Stayed away because of the stigma of the old Chinese ghetto restaurant was nasty af. Crazy I am amazed by the new ownership.“
“Amazing food! Great service! The food is some of the best traditional Japanese food around. The ramen is great and so is the sukiyaki udon!**UPDATE **Everything is mostly the same; however, you now have to register for parking and pay. You do get 2 hours which is usually enough to eat there, but it does add slightly more hassle. Their prices have significantly increased. Things that were $15 are 17$... there was a dish that I believe was $11 is now $17. (Don't quote me, I could have misread.... but that's what I remember)“
“OMG! If you want real, authentic sushi, sashimi you have to stop by for a delish meal!Cero is the sushi chef and he is fab!Joanne was my server and she took exceptional care of me!The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful. You won't be disappointed!Angela“
