“I wrote an excellent review a long time ago, but it did not do MF Sushi justice, so I am editing my original review after eating there on my own at the sushi bar yesterday.
MF Sushi gives you the food, service, and vibe of a Michelin Star restaurant without actually having one. The sushi tastes like we were dining on an island in the Pacific Ocean. The servers are on top of EVERYTHING. They know when you need something by just your facial expressions and they know when to bring you the next dish. The vibe is casual elegance, which is right up my alley. Even though MF Sushi has been around for a long time, I still feel like it's a hidden gem and I hope is stays that way. The only thing I will suggest, and this is only because I have a habit of eating way too quickly, is that when you see I have finished the piece of sushi in front of me (Chef's special, kind of like Omakase, but not), wait 2-4 minutes before bringing the next piece out. It forces me to pause and enjoy what I just ate. I am not sure if others have the same issue I have, but this is more my issue and not MF's. I always tell myself I have to come to MF more often and then life happens, but this time I am hoping to follow through. Thank you MF Sushi for such a great experience!“

“I’ve eaten sushi all over Atlanta, and NoriFish stands in a different category.

The fish is flown in from Japan, and it shows. More importantly, it tastes like it.

Every course felt intentional—from the pristine nigiri to the beautifully plated seasonal bites and hand rolls. The quality of the fish was immediately apparent: rich, clean, buttery, and incredibly fresh. Several pieces were among the best I’ve had anywhere, not just in Georgia but New York as well.

What made this experience even more special was sharing it with my wife. Before NoriFish, sushi was never really her thing. She would go with me because she knew I enjoyed it, but it was never something she actively craved. Since our meal, she hasn’t stopped talking about it and keeps asking when we’re going back. That alone says more than any review I could write.

As someone who hopes to take my wife to Japan one day, seeing her genuinely fall in love with this style of dining made me incredibly happy. NoriFish didn’t just serve us an amazing meal—it opened the door to an experience I can’t wait to share with her again in the future.

The service was polished, the pacing was perfect, and every course felt like it belonged in a much larger food city than Atlanta. You can tell there is real care behind every detail.

“Let’s talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I’ve never really been a Thai food eater. I’ll eat it if that’s what the majority wants but I’ve never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. If you’re in the area and ready to eat, you can not go wrong with EAV That & Sushi.“

“As my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Dominick and we were seated in a very plush chair. We could see the entire room from where we were seated. The patrons were of all ages (no children). The ambience is of modern flare compared to the old world Japanese style and house music vibes gave the restaurant superb energy. We had the Nice Pear and Kinjo cocktails. They were beautifully executed and not too sweet. A very nice combination of flavors and herbs. We shared the Shrimp Tempura which was lightly breaded (yay!) “A friend had been telling me about this place for a while. I want to give rave reviews. I did takeout and it was professional packed, large portions sizes, ready on time. “Amazing sushi! I was nearby for a conference and discovered this place at the food hall in Colony Square. I wasn’t incredibly hungry and ordered the Sashimi sampler and miso soup. Both great! The sashimi sampler is a great choice when you can’t decide between which fish to order. My go-tos are yellowtail and tuna but man, the salmon was delicious and better than most places I’ve ordered salmon from. All the fish I had was super fresh! The staff was super friendly! Highly recommend this place!“

“They were so nice and kind. We got signature Poke bowls, and Tofu&Veggie bowl. They have many options of protein as raw and cooked seafood. Also many options of sauces as Vegan and Vegatarian sauces. Even tofu, they had normal tofu and fried one. The place was quite clean and cozy. I also got green tea bottle from here. They also have Ramyeon machine for korean ramen.“

“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) “Pokeworks is my favorite place to get poke in Atlanta. Their ingredients are always fresh and large portioned. My only complaints are that sometimes the mobile orders get mixed up (i've gotten other people's poke bowl and missed items a few times), and the straw for the bubble tea is not large enough for the bubbles. Hopefully it's something that can be worked on! But overall i love this place and come here every week.“

“I came to this location on 4/27/2019 the wife and I. This was our first time coming to this location. The place is was busy! Good thing I had reservations that I booked with OpenTable, as I only had to wait about 5 minutes or so for my table to be ready. The table was small for two in a little corner. I was not really happy with the table, but the place was busy, packed, and limited seating. My waiter was amazing. As I asked questions she double checked on everything for me in the back. You can sample the wine for those who do not know their wines very well. My wife wanted sweet wine a red, and the recommended one was no so sweet so she went with a Riesling. I had the Fishers Cocktail with scotch. It was not that strong but nice. However, the bread was nice and fresh. I ordered the Mahi Mahi, and Mussels. I also had the Jumbo Lump crab cake as an appetizer to share. It was lump crab but not Jumbo. I am from Baltimore, MD so when it comes to crabs, it must be on point. Maryland is known for stellar seafood especially the crab, so Jumbo Crab in Maryland vs. The Fish Market Jumbo crab do not compare to Marylands. However, the taste was amazing I loved the filling but they are more crab than cake. The food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. My wife had the Scottish salmon trout blackened that too was delicious. I also need to highlight that their whipped sweet potato mash was so good my eye light up with joy! Long story short. I will be back!“
