We initially had a 6pm reservation for a party of 8 but needed to adjust the time earlier at the last minute. They graciously accommodated and were most welcoming and attentive to our family. Everything was set up, including the high chair, when we entered, and the service was expedient, efficient and exceptional. Very, very friendly and professional team. As a family with diverse dietary restrictions, we appreciated the careful attention to ensure clarity when taking our orders. The hibachi chef was also superb, taking time to engage the kids, acknowledge my hubby's birthday and verify the details of each order. The food was perfectly cooked to order with generous portions. Overall, it was one of the absolute best dining experiences we've had in a while. We've lived in the area for five years, and I've shopped in this area regularly but have never tried Sakégura. “I asked Mrs. K. what she wanted for dinner and she said, "Poké!" so I let Yelp find it for us along the way to where we're spending the night. We arrived at Poké Bar (it's a chain) at around 7pm on Friday and other than three other dudes eating their dinner and drinking some boba, we were alone.

We noticed that the restaurant was clean as we checked over the poké bar, other than a whole lot of boxes stacked in the back. As we ordered our bowl, the tuna ran out but the young man serving pulled out a fresh tray from the cooler and removed the wrap. Yay!

On a sticky white rice base, tuna and salmon, topped with spicy avocado, seaweed salad, krab salad and sesame seeds. With a bit of wasabi on the side that was not needed as the fish was perfectly fresh tasting. The rice was sticky enough that we did not need a fork and we cleared the plate. Quite delicious, filling and fresh tasting.

We'd eat at Poké Bar again!

“Walk in the door and got greeted immediately. The whole restaurant is very beautiful and simple. The lights are so cute I want to take them home. The floors are clean, not sticky, and of course very gorgeous. The small shopfront that they have over the counter is simple but very darling. The lady that helped us was very nice and asked if it was our first visit and let us know about their order system. We ordered and got our food in record time. Out of all the ramen places I've been I have never had the bowl in front of me faster than here. The food was absolutely delicious and we did get some sushi too. The tea comes in a very nice teapot when you get it. If this place was closer to home I would be here every chance I could.“
