“I never eat at restaurants below a 4.3 but glad I didn’t see this rating before I sat down because it’s quite inaccurate! I’m a foody and sushi is in my top 3 categories of frequented restaurants. The sushi was great and the prices are exceptional. It’s a family run restaurant and the atmosphere is just that. It’s not a chic, boutique sushi restaurant which is why the prices are very reasonable. If you want good no frills sushi this is your place!
Most complaints and 1 star ratings are coming from size of sushi on $1 sushi night. People….it’s $1 sushi!!!“

“Hands down, the best sushi I've ever had. They incorporate truffle oil in some of their rolls and if you like truffle, you cannot go wrong. Very savory. I'd recommend the avocado balls, crunchy spicy tuna roll and the snow crab in miso soup. The truffle aioli salmon appetizer is another hit. The cocktails - Wow! Thai Me Up is a their version of a spicy margarita but they use some sort of oil and it is delicious! I'll be craving that drink for a long time. It's not cheap but if you're looking for a treat or have a special occasion, it's a full recommend from me! Thank you goes out to Kelly, our server, who steered us towards the fantastic dish selections.“

“OK, my first trip to this restaurant. I've seen it for decades.
I took two of my daughters and treating them to a really good lunch.

Everything really was tasty and done pretty well. My oldest daughter actually works at a really high-end restaurant in Alpharetta. at the Avalon!

She's about to become the floor manager of their new location in Peachtree Corners.
She's 29 years old and has served billionaires in South Florida at one of the most exclusive clubs outside of Marago!

“This was my first time eating at JP’s. By far, the best sushi experience I have had at any sushi restaurants I have ever eaten at in Georgia. The restaurant is comfortable and spacious inside. The service is excellent, very attentive and kind hostess and waitresses. The menu also offers so many creative dishes and sushi rolls. The absolute must try is the Rambada roll. Absolutely delicious. Rolls are all quite large and reasonably priced. This is now my favorite sushi place and one we will be frequenting more often.“

“I've had this restaurant both takeout and dine-in and I think dine-in is a superior experience. the plates used are really cool, the atmosphere of the place is uniquely gorgeous, excellent service, and the food is absolutely delicious! I got the pork belly pulled noodles and it was a really generous portion, my partner got some spicy chicken noodle bowl with peanut oil and we both loved what we got! the noodles have an amazing chewy texture and everything seemed fresh“

“We were spoiled while visiting our friends in GA and this is one of the restaurants we were treated to. The menu was extensive and I couldn’t decide so asked the very accommodating waitress to ask the chef if he would make me a spicy platter that my husband quickly wanted in on.Wow!!! Was it awesome!! So beautiful and tasty and fresh and inviting. We thanked them all on the way out and suggested they add this platter to their menu as the ‘Spicy since we are from Canada. 😊. Well done!!“

It’s run by a wife and husband and their daily hours are limited which allows for the food to be 10/10 also really recommended placing a reservation prior to going or else you might be turned away as they have only a limited amount of tables to also help the experience and be tended to in the best way. The sushi and sashimi is so fresh and delightful not in anyways fishy! We also had the beef skewer and that was also phenomenal! They knew we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and brought out extra treats for us and made this experience 100 times better, if that’s even possible! “I usually get the Shrimp pad Thai which is always phenomenal. I decided to change up and get the steamed vegetables with shrimp with the teriyaki sauce. Just like the pad Thai The Steamed vegetables with shrimp were out of this world. Vegetables were perfectly cooked and A lot of juicy shrimp and the teriyaki sauce is to die for. “Absolutely one of the best Chinese buffets I've ever eaten at. Several different options on the bar, making it one of the few times I've ever been overwhelmed when it came to what I want to eat. The servers were awesome and kept my drink full. They were also very friendly. The prices are a bit steep, but it's to be expected with shellfish on the bar. I came to town for a concert and this place is only a couple of miles from my show. I'll definitely be coming back.“
