Japanese with a Korean flair. Great prices + great quality + _extremely_ great service. Surprisingly, they’ve been a “near-kept secret” in Atlanta for nearly 50 years. (Since 1970?)We’ve been eating here & picking up more-and-more regularly for only the past 3 years.

We had dinner tonight with a reservation for six people, and it was an absolutely perfect dining experience from start to finish. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the variety of side dishes was amazing. Even the dessert was wonderful! Gangnam Sushi never disappoints, no matter how many times we visit. In my opinion, it is the best Korean-style sashimi restaurant in the Atlanta area. Highly recommended!

Kang Nam in Atlanta offers a wonderful variety of Banchan, fresh Sushi + Sashimi, and excellent service. The staff shows exceptional hospitality, especially towards children. Chef Yun’s mastery and warm care enhance the experience. The cozy ambiance, great sushi, and beautiful presentation make it a memorable dining experience. Many guests find the food excellent, the prices reasonable, and the service outstanding. Tuna Sandwich Roll, Dragon Roll, Beef Fried Rice, and Calamari Tempura were mentioned as fresh and tasty. The sushi was solid and well-prepared. Service was great and rooms felt cozy and intimate. Combo meals are generous with portions and offer a ton of variety. Nigiri was pretty good, though some were too chewy and had too much wasabi. Rolls were mostly California roll variants.
