“I had a great experience at Wheatley. In this economy, it’s refreshing to find a place where you can get a meal and a drink for around $20, which is very hard to find lately. I ordered the pasta and loved that you can choose exactly what goes into it, including the type of pasta, which made it perfectly to my liking. Everything was made fresh to order, with the perfect amount of sauce and a great balance overall. On top of that, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others.”

“This place is very cozy and the cashier was so nice! The banh mis are made fresh so it does take a little longer but it’s so worth it. Everything is well balanced. Bread was fluffy and crunchy. The Vietnamese sauce compliments the juicy crispy wings. No dipping sauce needed for their wings. The grilled pork banh mi - get the pate added and it’ll set it off. The pork was tender and smoky. They have sugarcane juice which was the best refreshing drink for a hot summer day. It’s a modern Vietnamese fusion spot that actually does it right. It still tastes Vietnamese but in a different way. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend!!”

“A thoroughly enjoyable meal in a beautiful space. We got a vegetarian hot pot with the schzeuan broth. I really enjoyed the beauty tea with little bits of fruit and flowers floating in the pot. We love the shrimp paste, and it was very good here! We also got a tofu sampler and a lamb and dumpling entree. I really enjoy putting together the sauces and cooking it. Hot pot is a lot of fun to eat and I don't particularly like the buffets. The veggie plate that comes with every entree was really nice too. I definitely recommend.”

“I do not recommend. I went in there for a quick oyster fix but was rudely halted by the snooty hostess on duty. She didn’t try to listen and all she wanted to convey was that there were not any tables available tonight. I didn’t want a table just a couple seats at the bar. I later found out the hostess name is Caroline. I suggest some better training for the Caroline. Hostesses are supposed to be welcoming but she was the opposite. I like yalls oysters but the service is hard to overcome.”

“I really like the new kiosk system. This has always been one of my favorite restaurants, but I used to be a bit unhappy about the automatic 20% tip added during dinner. It seems like there’s new management now.

I love that I can enjoy different types of BBQ without dealing with the smoky smell, and it’s also great that the 20% tip is no longer added even when visiting late at night.”

She didn’t need to do that but went out of her way to make sure the the customer was happy. Because “customer is always right” after all. She was also the one to attend me at the window in drive thru and she made sure my drink was made right. On the other hand, her coworker has an ugly attitude and appeared to report her for helping with the translating. She was also the one who told me I couldnt get whipped cream on my ice coffee because I “didn’t pay for it” after I had asked for some in the speaker thru drive thru and they didn’t get my order right. JESSICA was the one who made sure I got my whipped cream and apologized for the mix up. Her co-worker is TOXIC and needs to learn to be more like JESSICA!”

It’s a small restaurant with dark decor and simple tables, but the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered wings, skewers, a seafood pancake, and a seafood clear broth stew, and really enjoyed the meal. The seafood pancake was the best, crispy without being hard and full of flavor.”

I had the tempura fried shrimp, fried dumplings, and the spicy beef ramen, and everything was absolutely delicious. The ramen had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, and the appetizers were crispy and fresh. My guest ordered the don katsu plate, which came with white rice, a corn side dish, coleslaw, and crunchy cubed daikon on the side—such a well-rounded and satisfying meal.
I also tried a Korean coffee, and wow—it was incredibly flavorful and potent. I’m not even a coffee drinker, but I would definitely order it again!

The service was just as impressive. Our server was warm, attentive, and polished in a way that honestly felt hard to find anywhere, even in Korea.

“I ordered the Sundaeguk (순대국) for $17, and it was absolutely delicious. The soup was incredibly hearty, rich, and comforting — exactly what you want from a good bowl of sundae soup. The portion was generous, and everything tasted fresh. The kimchi and kkakdugi sides were also crunchy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the soup.

The restaurant operates self-serve style. You order at the kiosk in the front, they call your number when the food is ready, and you pick it up at the front corner. Water, utensils, and seasonings like salt and pepper are all available for you to grab yourself, which makes everything quick and efficient.

The only downside is the space — it’s quite small inside. When I went, there was still plenty of seating at tables and booths available, but I’ve heard it can get really packed during peak hours. Overall, if you’re craving a comforting, authentic bowl of Sundaeguk, this place absolutely delivers. I’ll definitely be back!”

I came for breakfast which was a very simple menu, the individuals behind the counter were very nice, they greeted return customers by name, which I thought was lovely. They thought my 1 month old baby girl was adorable (and she is). Breakfast over by 1030am and lunch started, so I asked for a side of greens (very large portion) which were very tender and NOT overly salted. Big plus. Cafeteria style lunch items and inexpensive. You get more food for lunch at $11 than you get for a burger or chicken combo at a fast food restaurant. I would return because the lunch food was fresh and friendly service. You can't really mess up simple breakfast.”

“Funi was amazing as it always has been since it has opened. There was a bit of a wait bc it was christmas, but I had a reservation and took un less than 15 minutes.!”

“We live in the area and always pass in our travels. Decide to take my husband there for his bday Sept 13th. (Wed) Very friendly, spicy noodles delicious, outside seating with beautiful weather. Nice inside fun seating with spacious bar.”

“I was glad to find a Golden corral that was still open. The one closest to me closed down. The food was good but I agree with sometimes something is overcooked like fish or mashed potatoes too thick but all in all the food was great fresh. We got there late they were starting to close down so it was suggested that we get multiple plates. Because we were late we did close down the place but it made us feel targeted by a couple servers they watch this like hawks for some reason. We weren't rowdy. It was clean plenty of room to move around in the food and salad area. I would recommend Golden corral for a good meal and large variety to choose from. For vegetarians there is a very good salad bar fresh and fair amount of vegetables to choose from. It wasn't our server but there was a girl that came around before they broke down certain areas and asked us if we would like something else because they are ready to remove more food which I thought was very courteous, cashier was wonderful”
