“When I travel for a personal awaycation, I drive up to Atlanta. First stop, Jang Su Jang. For an authentic opulent Korean experience. Such an abundant variety of flavorful classic dishes. I love how healthy it all is. Nothing fishy or off to my palate. The best think seafood pancakes I've been able to find. A meaningful rice tofu soon and generous plates if fermented vegetables with a ginseng soju. A sizzling tray of soup wheels by for the large families. And I'm transported to a very happy place. One of my favorite dining spots ever.“

“Dinners with Dad, Not Pho Bac or Sambong edition, episode 888…Came back from Chattanooga and convinced dad to try a new place…Busan is the second largest city in Korea and that region is known for this dish…I told him I learned about it watching one of my K-dramas and the female lead was trying to win over her crush, who happened to be from Busan so she made this and he said, ‘Wow, this tastes just like the gukbap I get back home in Busan…haven’t been able to find it in Seoul…marry me and let’s grow old together…’ Convicing him to go was step one…he said, ‘Let’s just order soup each and if it’s good we can order more and if it’s not, we’ll go to Sambong…’ ??♂️ Luckily, it was good but we were full so didn’t have to order anything else! It really was like a place you would find in Korea…kiosk ordering, no server, buss your own table…check them out if you’re craving a tasty pork soup or dumplings or bo ssam (almost every other table ordered this to go along with their soups)“

“The best bento boxes I’ve ever had! If you’re a fan of Jang Su Jang, then you know they’re famous for their side dishes. JS Kitchen by Jang Su Jang is a grab n go shop offering the best quality side dishes. They serve bento boxes with the menu changing each day. I recommend that you follow their IG story for the daily menu. Sometimes, they sell out quick, so it’s recommended that you go there early! I am from out of town, so I picked up a bulgogi bento box to go. I didn’t eat it until the next day, but the bulgogi and side dishes still tasted fresh. The box also comes with purple rice and soup. JS Kitchen makes purple rice only—no white rice. I am not usually a fan of purple rice but I had no option. However, this is probably the best purple rice I’ve had! I will be returning to JS Kitchen each time that I’m in town.“

“I can not rave enough about this place! The food, fantastic! The service, too wonderful! The space, bright and cheery. My only complaint, I don't live closer to be able to eat it more regularly. Honestly just the best dining experience I have had ever.“

“Food was absolutely delicious, I would go here frequently if I lived in Atlanta. As it stands, I will be sure to stop by anytime I'm in the area. Staff was super friendly and answered any questions. I got the rosé mala, and I think it'll be hard to top the creamy flavor. Friends both got the malatang and thoroughly enjoyed it! 100% recommend, plenty of stuff to try, and different flavors to mix!“

“I recently had the privilege of organizing the Korean station at the Taste of Wilson Creek event at Wilson Creek Elementary. For this celebration of culture and cuisine, we chose Korean Fried Chicken as our feature dish and ordered from BBQ Chicken Johns Creek. The staff there was not only friendly but also incredibly generous, donating a significant amount of chicken to our booth. Their delicious chicken was a hit, and we were probably the first booth to sell out! I wholeheartedly recommend BBQ Chicken Johns Creek for their exceptional food and outstanding community support. Don’t miss out on their amazing food!“

“food here is phenomenal and reasonably priced. their croquettes are probably my favorite after trying most of their menu by now but that's just me. place an order at the counter and you'll be served by a fun little tiger-themed robot thing that plays a jaunty tune whilst bringing your food. I always wanted to name him but I'm sure the staff already has a name for him and I'd never wanna disrespect that.
Parking: the parking lot is shared by a large and dense shopping center so nearby parking may occasionally be difficult to find.“

“I'm so happy I found this place! I've been here like 4 times already & I always leave so full & satisfied. The BEST seafood boil place I've been to, & I've been to plenty. Their wings and fried rice combo is also a big hit among us. If you want some alcoholic drinks, I recommend the lychee soju ! You can share it with friends & it tastes soo good. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. It's also a plus that they're opened late, since everything seems to closed at 9 or 10. It's a small nice restaurant by a gas station but don’t get discouraged cause their large menu and food will have you coming back.“

“I saw this place on instagram and I saved it to my list of restaurants to eat while in Duluth. I came here before the Ateez concert and was not disappointed!! Everything was so good! I got the pepperoni pizza, chicken and some beer. It was definitely 10/10. Chicken was crispy and the pizza tasted like it came out of a brick over with a great cheese pull! I’m definitely pulling back up again. Staff was also nice and helpful!!“

“I’ve come here a couple of times, and this most recent time, I had a really good experience. You just can’t get this great quality food for the price anywhere else. The taste and portion size is wonderful. I’ll include photos too of what I ordered. The staff were also kind but slightly inattentive. That would be the only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars. Otherwise, the place was amazing!“

“I love how they always give you a small fish at the beginning of the meal. It is one dish that magnetitizes me here whenever I crave tofu soup, nang myun noodles, or a combo of noodles and Korean beef. The side dishes are very well made too.“

“This small cozy restaurant offers some intestines as the main dish to order. It may be adventurous to some who are not used to it, but if coming with friends it will be a fun time! While it is a Korean restaurant, don’t let that deter you if you only speak English and are unsure about the menu. The servers here are nice and are able to assist with both the cooking and explanation of the menu. Ordered a combo plus some additional large intestines as it seemed to taste the best in my opinion. While the restaurant can be busy towards the evening, the servers do try to help everyone. They may forget to fill waters/hot teas and take some empty dishes away but overall a great experience. Side note it feels a bit cheaper to drink beer/soju here compared to other restaurants so I felt encouraged to drink here with this meal and will highly recommend to drink alcohol when eating this kind of meal.“

“The customer service was out of this world. The waitress who served us was so attentive and kind! They also gave us a pajeon on the house because we had a pretty large party. I think this food chain has such good service overall, as I have been to other locations. 10/10 service!“

“Great food and nice little place to stop by for any meal. We tried several dishes and they were all really tasty. Pasta was really good, tonkausu was good but little dry, and dukboki was delicious. Will absolutely be back to try all the other dishes next time we are in town. Happy we stopped by here for dinner.“

“This restaurant was recommended to me and im glad I gave it a try. I ordered the spicy pork and the spicy rice cake. This also came with a small salad and a side of rice. The spicy pork was the perfect amount of spice if you like and eat spicy food often, uf you dont the kick might be a little much for you. It also had a great sauce to meat ratio giving it a great flavor. I had never had spicy rice cakes before, but wow they were delicious. The firm texture almost makes your forget that it's rice and the sauce was a great compliment to the dish. I will be stopping by big sisters kitchen again!“

“Very nice and cozy restaurant. My family and I don’t speak Korean at all so there was a small language barrier but the waitress was so kind and went out of her way to give us good service regardless of us not speaking the language. Super sad we missed the jokbal and bossam but we’re hoping to stop by once more before leaving the area.“

“Good place for round two if you like quiet, cozy Korean spots in Nukoa Plaza. Wasn’t packed at all around 10 pm on a Friday night with friends.
Service was very good and fast. Music wasn’t bad at all, so we stayed for a couple hours… drinking beer, soju, & somaek and chit chatting until closing time“

“I've visited a several times and had food here, and they serve clean, warm tea before and light drinks after meals. The food I would like to recommend is Biji Jjigae, which suited my taste the best. The soy sauce crab sauce had a bit of a strong cinnamon flavor, so it wasn't for my taste. The chicken stew was made from frozen chicken, so the bones weren't fresh. pork spicy food is even though I don't eat a lot, but the amount of meat seemed a bit small even to me. The server was friendly and refilled any leftover side dishes in advance. Overall it was great food“

“You order your food directly from the kiosk at the entrance, and you don't have to tip. You pick up your food and return your dishes when you're done. The hot broth soup is unlimited. In the cold noodles and ribs combo, the ribs are served on a very small plate. If you want to eat a lot of ribs, please order them separately. This place is more delicious with galbitang or seolleongtang than with cold noodles. This restaurant opens early in the morning and closes late at night, so you can go at your convenience if you are busy.“

“Daebaline is a retro bar that replicates the atmosphere of an old Pocha. When you enter this place, you will feel like you have gone back in time. It is full of old signs and props, and the lighting is soft, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. One of Daebal’s signature menu items is gamjatang. You can enjoy the rich umami flavor of the soft pork backbone and the rich soup. Another popular menu item is Chicken Hanmari Kalguksu, which is filled with large pieces of chicken and chewy noodle soup to fill your stomach. Yeonpotang is also a menu item that cannot be missed. Yeonpotang, filled with fresh seafood, is popular for its refreshing and clean taste.
The menu I personally recommend is stir-fried clams. The chewy texture of the clams and the spicy seasoning combine to make it truly delicious. The spicy flavor blends well with the savory flavor, making it perfect as a side dish for drinks. Daebal’s is a place visited by people of all ages. You can see a variety of people from their 20s to their 60s gathering together to have a drink and have a good time. The reason it is loved by everyone, from young people to middle-aged people, is because of its comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Additionally, Daebal's offers a variety of menus at reasonable prices, so you can visit without burden. I am satisfied with the generous amount of food provided. The friendly staff is also one of the great advantages of this place. We always welcome our guests with a bright smile and ensure a comfortable meal with prompt service.
The charm of this place is not only the atmosphere, but also the delicious food, reasonable prices, and the fact that it is a space where people of all ages can mingle. A meal and a drink at Daebal’s will be a small break from your busy daily life. If you want to relive the memories of the old Pocha, be sure to visit Daebal’s. You will have a satisfying experience.
Daebal's also has a well-equipped parking lot, providing convenience to guests who use cars. The interior here is decorated to take full advantage of the charm of traditional Korean Pocha, and the old photos and props on the walls evoke a faint sense of nostalgia in guests.
The diversity of the menu is also one of Daebal's great strengths. In addition to Gamjatang, Chicken Hanmari Kalguksu, and Yeonpotang, there are a variety of snacks available, giving you a wide range of choices. In particular, the taste of stir-fried clams is excellent, and the combination of chewy clams and spicy seasoning whets your appetite. In addition, there are various pancakes, grilled fish, and various stews, making it easy to choose a dish that suits your taste.
We also have a variety of alcoholic beverages available, so you can enjoy alcohol that suits your taste, including soju, beer, and makgeolli. Daebal's is the perfect place to have a drink with delicious snacks. Additionally, the staff here always treats guests kindly, and their service spirit stands out by quickly providing what they need.
Daebaline's interior is spacious and well-placed, making it suitable for group gatherings or family gatherings. There is also a well-established reservation system, so you can secure the seat you want by making a reservation in advance. Meals here are always satisfying and always leave good memories.
Most customers who visit Daebal's like the atmosphere and food. Especially on weekend evenings, you can see it being crowded with many people. However, thanks to the spacious space, you can enjoy meals and drinks leisurely without feeling crowded.
To sum up, Daebal's is a great bar where you can feel the nostalgia of the old Pocha. It is a place where everyone can be satisfied with the combination of delicious food, a variety of alcohol, and a cozy atmosphere. Create fun times and memories at this place where people of all ages, from 20s to 60s, can mingle together. Your experience at “

“This is a completely self-service shop.
You can also order and pay using the large tablet at the entrance.
All you have to do is go take a photo when your receipt number is called.
I was satisfied with the taste as it was delicious and the portion was large, but I wondered if it would be appropriate to ask for a tip when paying. ?“

“We ordered set A. They were quite tasty if you can handle intestines. Our waiter was friendly and patient. The only thing that might be lacking in my opinion is that the sides could be more “clean taste” to balance the richness of these grilled food. Maybe some green onion salad or even kimchi would help.“

“I have eaten here for months! I love the kimchi jjigae and the spicy pork belly stir fry. I usually send people to pick up my food but today I decided to come in and I loved the atmosphere as well. Everyone was so friendly and even fascinated that I loved their food so much that I bought a weeks worth of it for my meal preps. The kimchi jjigae here is unmatched! I have had it at plenty of restaurants, but I have never had it like this. The flavor is immaculate and not to mention the meal itself is healthy. This restaurant found a forever customer and didn’t even know it.“

“Been here 5-6x while in and out of the city.
Most of Gwinnett's standard of Korean food has declined recently with the exception of a few restaurants. This is one.
If you have a Daegu-style palette, spend your time here. This place is loaded with old heads for their approach to traditional dishes with a traditional taste (pre-80's). This is not your usual Korean spot that some people are used to. Take your parents and grandparents here.
Great ambiance. Classic Korean restaurant vibes. If you need something, speak up. You're here to vibe and eat fantastic food. Don't be shy. Leave your ego out the door. You're here for the food. If you want to be buttered up with modern service.. look you're at a HQ traditional food restaurant. You see that paradox? Fix that mentality. Lol. Best 은대구조림 (Eundaegu Jorim) in the county. Quote me on that.“

“This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Since I tasted food last summer I’ve been dying to come back.
It’s a self-service restaurant where you order the food and pay at the front. Then you can pick up food when it beeps. It took less than 10 min for us to get our delicious food!
Staff are incredible polite and efficient.
My favorite is the steamed dumplings, cold buckwheat noodles with bbq pork.
My friend had a traditional Korean soup and that had unique flavor.
Price is incredible value for this qualify of food. They have hot yuksu (beef broth soup) that has unlimited refill.
When I go back to NY, I will really miss this place!“

“I liked the atmosphere of the place. Every table has a place to have bbq if you want. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the sirloin and tonkasu. It was awesome. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

“Went here a bit tipsy with a friend so the review might be a bit biased but I absolutely loved it here! I came back from Korea a few months ago and have been looking for anything remotely similiar to the clubs I frequented while there. Obviously this isn’t going to be anything close to the night life in Korea but it definitely gave the vibe of a Seoul club which I loved. They even have karaoke rooms and a photo booth so you can tell they’re really trying haha. It was a bit crowded so me and my friend had to find a random place to sit near the bar but from my limited experience (was quite tipsy) I didn’t have any issues besides there being not much seating due to it being crowded which is expected. But no disrespectful staff which is always a plus in my book. Me and my friend stayed for about roughly 2 hours so might not be able to say much about the music but the DJ who ended the night played wayyy too much EDM, so just wish he switched it up a bit and kept a variety (tiktok is a good source?? ?) especially since the crowd was decently diverse (another pro I loved btw). But yup will def be back to try the food and come earlier so we can stay longer. “

“We frequent this restaurant - both dining in and to-go. Staff is always friendly and food comes out quickly. Their side dishes, which only consist of kimchi and yellow radish, are just ok. But their jjajang myun and kan poong ki are our favorites. We like how their jjajang myun noodles are a little bit chewy. I believe they have one of the best priced and best tasting jjajang myun in the area.“

“Delicious dokmanduguk! This was my first time ordering from here, and it immediately became one of my top 5 dumpling soup places in the Atlanta/Duluth/Pleasant Hill area. The dumplings are fresh and delicious, the broth comes with heaps of meat and rice cakes, and it was still extremely hot when I got home with it (to-go order) 20m later. I know a couple local places have a strong vinegar scent in their manduguk, but this had just the right touch of it without being “too much” for me at all. I’ll definitely be back again (and again and again and again)“

“The pork fried dumpling is super crispy, chewy on the inside, and there is a lot of juicy filling. The best part was the ends; it was a perfect golden brown. We could tell that the dumplings were made with care, and for only about a dollar a dumpling, it is very worth it. It is one of the best handmade dumplings in the area. Would order again and again.“
