“Chicken was awesome. I got plain bone in wings. The chicken was cooked in a way where it was extremely crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Food was made to order. The chicken stayed straight out of the grease hot through the whole meal. The heat was sealed in. Breading was light and crispy. My wife had onion rings which she loved. I had the cheese sticks which were awesome also.“

“So good 🤗 Everything tasted authentic even the white rice! I got the bulgogi bowl and it even came with japchae and with kimchi on the side! It is worth the price, I felt full from it. Will definitely be coming back 🤗“

“I love the food here but the service is chaotic and it's disorganized. Has not stopped me from going there but it's frustrating to watch them scramble to try and figure out who ordered what. And then to see your food ready but the chaotic process means you'll get it in 10 minutes. But the food is great. Fix the chaotic process and I'd probably visit more.“

“One of my favorite Korean restaurants to visit when I visit Atlanta from Los Angeles! Reminds me of mom’s cooking! And the ambience and decoration are authentic Korean so for non-Koreans, it is very interesting to look at their art pieces and decoration! Highly recommend!“

“Okay, another Google bloop, I have rated this place 3 times already since it opened.
Phantom reviews. So here I go again, love this place for Korean food. Ive eaten Korean food in Korea. I was married to a Korean for many, many years. I know what Korean food is and what it's supposed to be. These guys have it down with love.
You name the dish it's game on, we come back here every time we have a craving.
So glad there's something Korean on this side of town so I don't have to drive over to buford.
Plenty of parking. Go to the parking deck and on Saturday do the farmer's market thing. Then, make this your brunch stop. Great place.“

“Visited for the first time, and can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area! Owner was so sweet and very accommodating to my partners seafood allergy. We got the rose toppoki, spicy pork Gimbap, and triangle spam Gimbap. All was great but that toppoki was the best i’ve ever had! Pricing was great as well.“

I would recommend stoping by Top and if you can have cody as your server!!“

“My spot for gopchang no doubt because of their food quality. Besides gopchang, their pork belly is also top notch. They will grill the meat for you so in case you are not sure or unfamiliar with how to make it the best, leave it to them to get the perfect grilled meats 👌 they give the correct banchan and dipping sauce for gopchang and I wont explain further…
The staffs are doing a good job but it wont be all smiling and all of the friendliness at a typical American restaurant and it isnnt because they are rude or anything. they are kind so please patience with them“

“If you're on the mood for seafood or korean food, this place is perfect. The hours seemed to be great. This place is severely underrated that needs to be talked about more or I should say a hidden gem. and I came here on a wednesday night. Joon was awesome and also the young lady who also worked with him. The food was delicious, and we wanted to try a little bit of everything. There's so much on the menu that all looks so good. The prices are worth it.Because the portion sizes are huge. This is a hidden gem, and I definitely recommend this place.
I would say that the place feels more like a little night lounge feel, but it's only four out of five stars, only.Because I can see how the place can be slightly updated. But this place is extremely clean and it's more like a bar alone's kind of feeling or just a place to go out to dinner.“

“Came here for the first time with friends, we got the friend set with the classic JAWS topokki and added cheese. It's a sizeable portion to share, it was enough for four of us. The cashier was very friendly and patient, was very mindful. She asked us if we had any food preferences and if we had sundae before. The sundae is wonderful, very flavorful and is very good in the sauce!
I wish I got her name but our cashier checked up on us to ask if we enjoyed the meal, and she kindly gave us some treats afterwards. Definitely coming back to try the spicier options, and for the friendly staff!“

“Well, me & my mom are vegans. We were excited to see google reviews about they have quite a few vegan options. But we were a little disappointed about the vegan dishes they have, the tofu stew tasted bland. The glass noddle was ok. However the waitresss & waiters were great. Very good service and the atmosphere is great. Of course this is NOT a strictly vegan restaurant so We couldn’t be too critical about the food. But it’s a great hang out with your Korean friends since we saw many Korean customers here so I think the food here are authentic.“

“OHH MYY GOSH!! So so good! I was presently surprised. First timer and I didnt know what to order. The guys up front were very helpful and offered a great suggestion. I ordered 8pc spicy and fries. It was cooked to order so there is a little wait but so well worth it. Fresh, hot, crispy and just the right about of heat (spice level). Neighbors you have a a new loyal customer. I will absolutely be back again....and Im bringing friends!!!“

“Dinners with dad, episode 874, later edition…from dinner the other night while visiting my parents…had already had an amazing breakfast…then an equally amazing lunch…but this pork belly and trotters weren’t going to eat themselves! This place gets more and more crowded each time we come…dad loves to talk about how much his youngest granddaughter loves this place…then says, ‘She might be the most Korean of the 3 grandkids…’ The pic of him laughing is after the server asked what type of soju he wanted…he said none but he could use one! I told him to order a bottle but he said no 🤪 If you like pork and spicy acorn noodles, this is your go to in Atlanta!“

“Japanese with a Korean flair. Great prices + great quality + _extremely_ great service. Surprisingly, they’ve been a “near-kept secret” in Atlanta for nearly 50 years. (Since 1970?)We’ve been eating here & picking up more-and-more regularly for only the past 3 years.“

“Easily the best K-BBQ I’ve had in atlanta. So memorable. The place was tragically empty when we entered, and we talked to the owner and she was talking about how hard of a year it’s been. Our kimchi pancake was fantastic, and when the actual meat came out it got so much better. The owner showed us traditional ways to eat and we had amazing conversations with her. The food was fantastic as well. Easily a return and please visit if you can! Help them out!!“

“The food in the picture was a lot for two people. We ordered combo fried, a 12 oz cup of tteokbokki, and regular donkatsu. The combo fried is perfect to try every kind and find out which one is your favorite. Mine was squid, though their fried dumpling and kimmari were good. We chose spicy Tteok-Bokki, but it was sweet and spicy, not too spicy. Donkatsu wasn't my favorite; the cut was less fatty, which made it a bit dry. The sauce is tomato-based, which isn't my preference, and the outside of the rice was a bit dry and hard. But overall, the food and service were good. The restaurant also offers a military discount.“
“We had the jjambbong, jajangmyeon, and tangsuyuk, and everything was delicious. The jjambbong broth had a rich, deep flavor, and the jajangmyeon tasted just like authentic Korean-style black bean noodles. The tangsuyuk was also excellent.
The owner was incredibly friendly and provided outstanding service.“

“Doraville’s best kept secret. Best Korean place we’ve tried all across Atlanta, Alabama and Mississippi. Food is made to order. There’s primarily 1 server taking care of everyone, so be prepared to wait and be patient but it will be so worth it. Even banchan came out one by one out the kitchen.“

“This establishment has the nicest team plus delicious food and parking around back. On my first visit, we arrived early when there was no crowd. My friend had just received her PhD so it was a low key celebration brunch. The crowd wasn't happening yet and the barista was bored. As we ate brunch, he appeared with shot glass sized samples of a certain tea drink for us to try. Then he returned later with a sample of creamy drink. Finally a coffee sample was served. We had a lovely chat and it was just such an authentic "small town" moment. The kind we use to have in Roswell 20+ years ago. Fast forward to this afternoon, my friend and I drop in for a birthday lunch and have a terrific meal. Surprise! The staff prepared a cute blueberry scone birthday snack on a heart-shaped dish. As we left, everyone wished a happy birthday to us. Honestly, it was so endearing. Great food. Nice people. 100% worth your time and money to go!“

“I can hardly remember if I’ve visited this restaurant before, which means it’s either been a very long time or this was my first visit, recommended by a group of friends from an association. Regardless, this humble neighborhood restaurant left a strong impression. Once popular in the heart of Doraville's old Koreatown, this spot carries a sense of nostalgia and is truly a hidden gem with a rich history. While it may not boast extravagant decor, the quality of the food speaks volumes. I particularly enjoyed the generous variety of side dishes (반찬), which were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The highlight of my meal was the fresh grilled sole fish (서대구이), perfectly cooked and accompanied by a hearty bowl of bean paste stew (된장찌개), both proudly recommended by the friendly and welcoming owner. Her genuine hospitality and attentive service added warmth to the dining experience, and it was heartwarming to see some of my friends recognize her from previous visits.
If you’re looking to experience authentic, homemade Korean cuisine in a modest yet charming setting that evokes memories of Korea's past, I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a rare gem that preserves the flavors and traditions of old Korea, and I’ll definitely be returning to savor more of its offerings.“

“A small self-service restaurant with great, authentic gukbap! Busan is famous for its gukbap, and this restaurant attempts to emulate that taste. I found the mixed pork soup quite delicious and comforting. It had a deep, rich broth that was so creamy. There was a good amount of sliced meat, too. The kimchi and radish tasted fresh and went wonderfully with the milky broth and rice. A simple meal that never disappoints!“

“If you live near Cumming/Suwanee/Johns Creek area and don't want to drive till Duluth where most of the Authentic Korean restaurants are, this is the place for you. The same spicy taste that you will get in other traditional Korean places. The Kimchi Tofu soup is our favorite. They have nice banchan of kimhci and sides as well, plus their food is fresh and tasty. We love the kimchi fried rice too. The only regret is that they close too early, we planned to go so many time not realizing their closing times and ended up at the closed doors disappointed. The reason for that is Google page shows their closing time as 9PM whereas they close at 8:30 pm. After few missed attempts we went couple of times on time and were not disappointed with the food and service. The staff is nice , warm and friendly true to the Korean hospitality tradition. The food served was hot , fresh and nice. I will recommend this place to anyone.“

“I recently purchased kimchi and a variety of side dishes from this place, and I was truly impressed. My kids, who used to dislike kimchi, now absolutely love it and ask for it all the time! The flavors are incredibly well-balanced, fresh, and delicious.
You can really tell that they use natural, high-quality ingredients. Every dish tastes clean, not overly salty or artificial, and has that comforting, homemade feel. It honestly feels like eating food that’s both nourishing and made with care.
If you're looking for authentic, flavorful, and wholesome Korean side dishes, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s not just tasty—it genuinely makes you feel like you're eating healthier!“

“We recently visited this place on a Saturday at noon, and the place was packed, which is always a great sign. It is a cozy, self-service spot with a casual atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes: the Korean seafood noodle, Mapo tofu, fried rice, and fish dumplings. The Mapo tofu was definitely the highlight of the meal—absolutely delicious and full of flavor! The fish dumplings had a very light and delicate taste, though I think they would be even better paired with some chili oil for an extra kick. Overall, everything we tried was solid, and the bustling weekend crowd makes it clear this place is a local favorite. I will definitely be back to try more dishes next time!“
