“My boyfriend recently took us to a Korean fried chicken restaurant at The Exchange in Buford. While the food was good, I was disappointed by the limited non spicy flavor options since I don’t like spicy food.

After leaving my workout class yesterday and deciding what dinner would be I came across this restaurant and was excited to see they offered a much wider variety of flavors. I ordered an 8-piece wing combo of the Honey Garlic, Soy, and Galbi flavors and spent around $55.

The wings were a hit in my household. What was funny is that we all ended up having a different favorite. The Soy was my favorite, my boyfriend loved the Honey Garlic, and my older sister preferred the Galbi. The chicken was cooked well and each flavor had its own distinct taste.

Since I attend workout classes across the way 3–5 times a week I can definitely see myself becoming a repeat customer.

My only suggestion would be to consider marking the flavor names or do abbreviations on the boxes. Since the flavors weren’t identified on the packaging I had to go back to the website to figure out which was which. It wasn’t a major issue but it could be a helpful convenience for customers who are grabbing their food and heading out in a hurry.

“We visited on a Saturday evening and had a lovely dinner with our family. The beef was of excellent quality, and the yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We were also very impressed by the staff’s quick service and welcoming attitude. The restaurant offers a great dining experience in a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. It was our first visit, but we had such a wonderful time that we will definitely come back again.“

“If you're on the mood for seafood or korean food, this place is perfect. The hours seemed to be great. This place is severely underrated that needs to be talked about more or I should say a hidden gem. and I came here on a wednesday night. “Incredible vegan food and grocery. We always try to stop by here when in Atlanta. As most reviews say the tofu steaks are incredible and the banchan (side dishes) are perfect.

We always grab a large jar of their gochujang from the grocery which lasts us a long time!“

“This is a great spot for a quick, warm, and tasty meal located in Hmart Suwanee. The food is really delicious and a fantastic value. I was a huge fan of the mayo chicken and I can only imagine the other boxes are just as great. The service is fairly quick and lets be honest, it's nothing fancy inside an Hmart food court but I would definitely go out of my way to come here.

“I have been to many so-called Korean BBQ restaurants in the past but the 770 outshone them all. This is the finest most authentic I have been to. Every item from the kimchi sides to the soup to the dips to the seasoned steak and spicy chicken bulgogi we ordered was absolutely delicious. The girl who did the cooking for us was pleasant, timely and did a magnificent job. I strongly recommend the 770 Korean BBQ to anyone who happens to be in the Suwanee, GA area. I WILL BE BACK!“

“It smells right when you enter but It must be the fermented beans. They have a kiosk which is a little difficult to navigate but helps a lot if you don't know korean. Food came out fast and hot! The kimchi vegetable dumpling soup was good 🍲 and filling😋 I thoroughly enjoyed the rice 🍚“

“Stopped by Buttumak for an early dinner after a long drive and we were pretty hungry. When we first arrived, there weren't too many people, but the restaurant started filling up pretty quickly as time went by. By the time we left, it was much busier. I can see why. If we had come a little later, we probably would have had to wait for a table.
My wife and I ordered the agu-jjim, and it was really good. It had just the right kind of flavor to enjoy with some soju, and the portion was big enough that we couldn't finish it all.
We also tried the pork ribs that they're known for, and they were really delicious. We added the Suwon galbi (beef) too, and that was also very good. The corn cheese and the cheesy steamed egg were great side dishes as well.
The staff was friendly and you could tell they were making an effort to take good care of the customers.
One thing I really appreciated was that a bottle of soju was accidentally left off our bill. I pointed it out and asked them to add it. Good food, good portions, and fair service. After a long drive, this was definitely a meal worth stopping for. Five stars from us!“

“Good choice for a casual meal. The prices are very reasonable and the food tastes good. It might not be the absolute best I've ever had, but it’s definitely a satisfying experience. This is not a “cook in front of you” Korean, as my kids say. We honestly prefer this sort of restaurant though as opposed to the Korean grill version.“

Not long ago, I've seen the older gentleman pull together chairs and tables for a family of color across from my table for their comfort, and he kindly attended and got extra sharing bowls and utensils for their children. Demonstrating impartial service so dont assume from previous reviews they are not welcoming, you'll miss out on good food bc someone assumed something, just come try it yourself. “This restaurant specializes in Korean braised pork feet, and the dish tastes absolutely amazing! There is no unpleasant smell at all, which can sometimes be an issue with jokbal at other places. The interior is very clean, and the food was served much faster than I expected. Since this is a franchise from Seoul, South Korea, the authentic taste is consistent with other locations in Georgia. I highly recommend it to everyone, both Koreans and non Koreans alike!“

“Tried this gem in a hole Korean restaurant with my Korean friend. Really liked the vibe and their customer service. Beautiful kind hearted ladies helped us decide the item from menu and they described the menu items so well. Service was amazing and so was the staff. I loved the yogurt soju they had. “We ordered takeout from Chai Hong and everything was excellent!
The Spicy Seafood Soup had a rich, flavorful broth and the portion was very generous. The Black Bean Noodles tasted just like the ones from some of our favorite spots back in Korea.
The Palbo Chae was absolutely amazing — definitely the highlight of our meal! We also loved the Garlic Soy Shrimp. It wasn’t too spicy, and our kids couldn’t get enough of it.

“I like Hong Dae Korea. I basically decided to try it because I am pushing myself to try different things. I was very nicely surprised. I got Bulgogi Beef bowl. The meat was very tender. I had white rice and numerous veggies with it. I love it. The bowl was big enough. I had it for dinner and leftovers for lunch. The staff was very helpful during my first time there and explain the food, sauces, and gave me samples as well. I already return to the spot once again for the same bowl :-)“
