“Outstanding Dominican food. We went on Saturday night. Service was super and I’m sure being fluent in “Dominican Spanish” and cuisine helped. It brought memories to us of living in the DR for many years. My only negatives would be the loud music and it was so cold you could hang meat there. I do not deduct points for that though because we showed up close to all the dancing so I’m sure the frigid temperatures were setting up the place for the dancing.

We will head there again for sure, earlier. I just wish the Presidente beer would be imported from the DR, not St Louis. Still it was cold and very much like the DR version.

If you want to try Dominican Food as close to island authentic, head there. If you are up to a lively atmosphere, stay for the dancing.”

“I loved this place. The food was delicious and plentiful (I really mean that). The place was nice and clean. The decorations were cool. The only downside was that we were hot while we ate. We sat by the door and the sun was beaming. We ate between 5 and 6 PM. Just something to consider.”

It was prepared and the Gentlemen who helped us was very nice and respectful, the place is small but very tidy. price was reasonable he actually offer us a drink of water. customer service very well done! “I have fallen in love with the Tipsy Pig. A few weeks ago I went to the bank and typed in restaurants near me and it popped up. It was right across the street and I enjoy bbq so I went. I had the pork sandwich, Brunswick stew, collard greens and peach cobbler. I told my family about it and they gave it a thumbs up. They love the brisket. We had it for lunch again today! So delicious!❤️”

“We visited this restaurant at the invitation of one of the customers of SWC Contracting, We were not let down. The food was made with a tasty southern flair and each dish had my taste buds wondering what could be better than the last bite. We arrived about 6:30pm it was a little busy but not crowded and we were seated straight away by our waitress Tabitha, Her personality was bubbly and refreshing. We had our drinks and first dishes out within 7 minutes of our order. I can't say enough about the service, Tabitha if you read this,.. Just WoW!!! The food really is SECOND to NONE. When we want homecoming we usually visit a larger chain but after today this place has won my business for southern cooking and it is cooked at its finest.. I hope you all visit this place and have the experience we had,.. and I would ask for Tabitha if I was you.. P.S. Bring your appetite..”

“I purchased a 2-tiered cake, a smash cake, and cake pops for my godson’s first birthday party. I provided a concept and Cakes by the Pound turned it into an amazing reality. Everyone was asking who made the cake. His mother literally came to tears when she saw him on the cake. Everyone loved the taste and design of the cake and people are still talking about it from Saturday. And as you can see my godson enjoyed his smash cake. If I could give 10 stars I would! I will DEFINITELY use Cakes by the Pound again!!”

“Please be careful especially if you are wearing shorts, their chairs have sharp edges. I wore jeans and now my new jeans have 4 different tears in them from the sharp metal edges. I let our waiter know and he got his manager, they decided to put tape on the chair. While I was letting our waiter know the lady beside us also told him about her chair tearing her pants too. This is just a warning because I would hate for a child or someone to get cut or have their clothes ruin from their metal chairs! I do recommend the jalapeno margarita 💚💚”
