“Make sure the chimichurri has vinegar in it! We got the choripan and the chimichurri really brings it all together. If the chimichurri is missingnthe vinegar it really isn't that great.

“I found this place on July 4th 2024. I was shopping next door and the store didn't have a public restroom. I walked into the closest restaurant and decided to get some lunch. I tried the chicken and steak quesadilla with fries. I have not been amazed by any particular food in a long time. This was the most authentic, savory, and flavorful quesadilla I have ever had the pleasure of eating! If you are in the area, go and try this place out. You will not be disappointed.“

“Seriously the best cupcake I've had in San Antonio. It's not absurdly sweet and the flavor is strong and balanced. The frosting does not leave a film at the roof of the mouth like conventional cupcakes do. So worth it and great for those with dairy and egg allergies because it's vegan!“

“Enrique and all of the wait staff are incredibly kind and welcoming! The food is EXCELLENT and very reasonably priced. “Outstanding Dominican food. We went on Saturday night. Service was super and I’m sure being fluent in “Dominican Spanish” and cuisine helped. It brought memories to us of living in the DR for many years. My only negatives would be the loud music and it was so cold you could hang meat there. I do not deduct points for that though because we showed up close to all the dancing so I’m sure the frigid temperatures were setting up the place for the dancing.
We will head there again for sure, earlier. I just wish the Presidente beer would be imported from the DR, not St Louis. Still it was cold and very much like the DR version.
If you want to try Dominican Food as close to island authentic, head there. If you are up to a lively atmosphere, stay for the dancing.“
