I always order on Uber Eats so I never noticed all the bad reviews until I mentioned the place to my partner & got side eyed when she googled it. So, let’s clear this up. I have ordered here SEVERAL times over the past couple of years and the food is ALWAYS delicious. The black eyed peas are a must try. I also love the spinach and jollof rice.
The food at Flavors of Africa is excellent. I ordered the Sheba Stew and sweet fried plantains and Joloff rice. My husband ordered black eyed peas, kale and spinach. The flavors were rich and savory. My husband said his dish had a nice little spicy kick to it. We moved here from Texas, so my husband appreciates the spicy flavors.
