“I thought the meatball Ciabatta was really good (9.0). Very kind people and even gave me meditation and reading materials since it was my first time there. The veggie wrap (7.0) was ok. Carrot cake was also good and moist (8.0). Good experience overall and I would go back to check out more menu items the next time I'm in ATL.“
“Not vegan, but it's hard to find food I can eat due to lactose intolerance and egg allergy. I know everything here will be safe for me. They also mark menu items that contain garlic or onion which is great since I can't eat those either. It's one of the only restaurants where I don't have to worry about the ingredients. Since having finally been able to work with them to create a custom cake, I know now that my assumptions were far beyond founded.I ordered my cake back in early January for a 1.27 event that had to be cancelled due to the guest of honor getting COVID.I immediately called VTasteCakes and they assured me that the cake could be frozen because it had not been iced yet.Fast forward one whole month and I finally picked up the cake: Perfect in every way, from the designs preferred to the lettering, to the quality of ingredients and finish. The cashier was super patient with me bc it was my first time and explained the entire menu. I was able to sit and enjoy my food. The atmosphere was very chill. “Nestled away behind the Chevron in an unassuming plaza off of Hambrick, it’s the takeout spot you never knew you needed! I ordered the Fresh Prince and the Bruce Leroy paired with a Grape Hibiscus drink and a cinnamon crumb cake. The Fresh Prince was deliciously seasoned with Smokey notes and peppers and onions. The best way I could describe the Bruce Leroy would be an elevated loaded fry meal with Asian influences. Double slap! Washed the meal down with the perfectly rich and tart beverage and a moist dessert. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of anything because it was straight slappington! Having visited many vegan restaurants in various cities, Sugar MaMa's was at the top of our list. When it comes to vegan taste buds, Sugar MaMa's got it on lock. “Located in a strip mall with other very authentic looking Asian spots, Banh Mi 135 is almost perfect. First of all, the bread is the best of any Bahn Mi I've had. It's incredibly fresh, warm, and crispy. The rest of the sandwich is quite good as well, but there wasn't enough meat for my taste. I know it's traditional to give a small amount, but I prefer non traditional in that regard. The flavors are all there though. Overall, cute shop, friendly service and the most authentic Banh Mi I've ever had.“
“I originally stopped by this restaurant for just something quick to eat one weekend and fell in love with the black eyed peas. I found myself coming back the following weekend and tried their greens, baked beans and “meatloaf” which were also very delicious. I met the owner David when he checked on me while I dined in and we had a nice chat, Ill definitely be coming back to try more of the food! :)“
