“I tried calling to place an order, but it was disconnected. I placed the online order. They didn’t know what I was talking about. The food was good. I had the mixed crêpe with strawberry banana. I asked for strawberry ice cream, though And I would prefer if they included the ice cream inside of the crêpe.“

“Las Delicias de la Abuela is a casual restaurant serving great comfort Columbian food. It is located in Doraville, next to the Buford Highway Farmers Market. It is a mile from the Dorvaille MARTA station, (but you can also take the 124, 35, 20, or 10B buses). Las Delicias de la Abuela has the casual vibe of a family reunion, even equipped with picnic tables. There are televisions everywhere, and I understand live music. I was greeted and seated immediately. Food and beverages came out very quickly. The staff were extremely friendly, happy to make recommendations on food and beverages, and forgiving of my awkward Spanish skills. Maleja recommended the blackberry juice, Carne de la Parrilla (skirt steak), and Passionfruit Mousse, and I added an order of Arepas. The blackberry juice was tasty and not too sweet. I took it home, and it mysteriously disappeared before I could reopen the refrigerator (apparently my husband enjoyed it as well). The carne a la parrilla was perfectly prepared, very juicy, and flavorful. It was so cravable, I ate the whole thing with no regrets. The steak came with two sides, and I selected the salad and sweet plantains. The salad, which was actually guacamole, was surprisingly tasty. The avocado was mild and creamy and well blended with lime juice, tomatoes, and onions. I don’t eat guacamole. But I tore this up! The plaintains were good, but other items were memorable. The passion fruit mousse is for those with a sweet tooth. But it was super tangy and creamy. I can’t wait to go back, as I want to come for breakfast. There are also so many lunch and dinner items I want to try, including the empanadas and margaritas.“

“I buy to take away and eat with my guests at their restaurant, their dishes are exquisite. Delicious abundant, I've been eating their food since 2001 and I wouldn't change it for any other Colombian restaurant. I recommend it, the staff is very friendly and attentive... a Chilean... who prefers them.
Congratulations ?
****New opinion August 2024:
Their cuisine has changed so much, their flavors are no longer the same, not even their portions.
The last 2 times the rice came out hard in balls, as if it were refrigerated.
It no longer has that exquisite flavor
Today I bought it, with the surprise that they gave me a glass of beans with a third part.
I don't know why they reduce the amount if they have increased by $5.00 dollars more...
Very disappointed, I already told myself no more! I'm not going to waste my $, a large paisa tray was * delicious, I don't know if they changed the cook.
But I am forced not to consume more or take my guests
The answer they gave me is that they changed glasses. When I see that they are the same, but before they were full...
What a shame not to be able to upload the photo of the glass with beans approximately 3 fingers long. Disappointed“

“Man what a meal!!! Latin food done right! The 1/2 rotisserie chicken with the Spanish rice is straight ? ! We also had the Paisa Rice with some of the best crispy pork I’ve ever had in Atlanta. From the mango juice, blackberry juice and the food, we definitely be back!!
Parking: Free parking“
