“Our first time to visit and the food and service were great. We had the gyro lamb wrap and gyro lamb salad with Mediterranean lentil soup and everything was delicious. BJ, our server was very attentive and informative. We will certainly be returning soon and would definitely recommend anyone to give them a try.“

“Just off of pleasant hill on Breckinridge, you’ll find the gem that is Damasco. Duluth has tons of food options, covering pretty much every ethnicity and niche, so I was a bit stuck today with decision paralysis. Then, I saw Damasco and thought “this is close and I don’t have to deal with Pleasant hill.”
I got their lunch special, a chicken shawarma and kofta sandwich. After the first bite, I knew that out of all the restaurants I could have picked in the general area, I made the best choice possible.
Food is fresh, tastes amazing, priced very fairly, and you feel great afterwards. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, has good atmosphere, and great service. The bread was perfectly crispy, the meats were flavorful and juicy, and all the extra bits that go into the sandwich just elevates it to another level. Easily is gonna be my staple goto place for lunch!“

What makes them special?
1. Fresh made pita bread, made in house in a huge oven on premises. And, you can watch the entire cooking process. Not only is the bread made fresh, but it is CHEAP.
2. Fresh made falafel to order. The falafel and fries are made as soon as you order, so let them know up front.
3. Dips are delicious. Regular and spicy hummus, and babaganoush are all insanely delicious and under $5 for a tub. Pairs perfectly with their bread.
My only complaints is that meals are served in a flimsy bowl that sucks all of the moisture out of the hummus. I'm also not a fan of their reheated meats and slop-bowl serving style that America loves these days. Too bad, because the meat quality and flavor is good, but once it's reheated so many times, the beef, chicken, lamb, loses it's appeal.
The ordering counter is crammed into the corner of the restaurant and is very stressful to maneuver if there is more than one customer. They seem to do mostly takeaway business, even though the dining room is spacious.“

“From the food to the service was great. It's not a full dining experience for dine-in, but, I did Togo anyway. The portions are great. More overpriced than the places around but they did repave the whole. Complex so gotta make the money from somewhere.“

“Stumbled upon this spot after dropping some clothes off at the cleaners, and I’m so happy that I did. I ordered a gyro shawarma sandwich and the way I’ve been craving it ever since. The customer service was amazing, very helpful in explaining the menu. I will definitely be back to try more menu items, this place is a hidden gem for sure.“

“The food is excellent. I eat here very often and you can't find better hummus or falafel anywhere. The steak is tender and better tasting than most steak house's. The Kafta is a surprise. seriously TRY THE KAFTA. Overall one of the best places to eat in Lawrenceville.“

“My wife and I have came to Sugo for the past 5 years. We usually get the meatball, a couple of the Caesar salads, beef ravioli and the Hanger Steak along with a bottle of wine. It is a great place to have a date night, and we really appreciate the owner coming by and checking in on the guests.“

“My boyfriend and I stopped at the Forum to get food and decided on this place. Absolutely amazing service. Shoutout to Abdul because he was patient, explained the portion size for my Bhel (I wanted something filling but small) and he even brought my boyfriend’s meal to the table! We ended up buying a milky drink from the business just because of that. The food taste fresh and amazing too. We will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you again Abdul!“

“CAVA is such a great spot with tons of vegan options to choose from. You can build your bowl with rice, lentils, veggies, falafel, and more — they even used to have sweet potatoes that were absolutely heavenly. Everything is super fresh, and they have plenty of vegan dressings to choose from. Really great go-to option when you want something quick, healthy, and flavorful.“
