If I'm in the Jusgo Supermarket food court, then I must get a tea here. I've been visiting Vivi since the late 1990s in NYC. The quality and consistency are the same at all locations.

This specific location has delicious Taiwanese snacks also. Even though their teas are more of a Hong Kong flavor to me.

“Authentic but not best, per my Taiwanese friend. I personally really enjoyed it. It was one of my first experiences with authentic Taiwanese cuisine. The Taiwanese fried chicken was less salty than some of the other ones I have tried. Perhaps it is more authentic to be less salty and with less spices. Can't say for sure. I liked the flavor on the minced pork as well, but it could have used some more sweetness and umami flavor. To foreigners and outsiders, I think we can like this. If you are truly looking to be blown away by some very authentic Taiwanese food, it may not be to your standards, especially if you know the cuisine well. I still like it and would come back.“

“Nice Sichuan style Chinese restaurant , part of the Great Wall Grocery store in Duluth. We go to this market quite often, the place is nice with good variety on the fresh produce. The fish section has good collection of Asian fishes which we like. The food court has several Chinese restaurants and gives a feeling of Asian street food market. We have tried some of the Chinese restaurants here, one of them being Ping's place. The food is good, but will not call it exceptional. The portion is huge, and prices are quite reasonable. It is self serve and it gets crowded at times. However, the food did not seem too fresh, the boiled fish with chili oil tasted good, but loaded with oil ( and that is expected for this dish), but the fish was soft and slimy, which gave a feeling it was not fresh. The market itself is too crowded and has strong Asian food smell, typical of any Asian market place( Indian, Chinese, Korean, Malaysian etc.)“

“Might be our new favorite restaurant. Everything was incredible and the service was great. The salt and pepper calamari blew our minds. Generous portions of everything meant we had enough left over for another meal, and we even put in another order to go because we didn’t want to stop eating it.“

“Best Taiwanese style food in the area! Nice, friendly people providing top level service. Portions are large, so you get plenty of food, usually leftovers, great value. Everything taste great!! Ginger clam soup was incredible, family favorite!! Lamb dry pot had excellent flavor, not too hot, lotus root is a great touch! Stir fry veggies with tofu was on point as well as the eggplant, all had the best flavor profiles!! Even the hot tea was better than any restaurant we have had in a while. If any people give a bad review, let them go to Panda Express, less crowded for the rest of us!!“

“We recently visited this place on a Saturday at noon, and the place was packed, which is always a great sign. It is a cozy, self-service spot with a casual atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes: the Korean seafood noodle, Mapo tofu, fried rice, and fish dumplings. The Mapo tofu was definitely the highlight of the meal—absolutely delicious and full of flavor! The fish dumplings had a very light and delicate taste, though I think they would be even better paired with some chili oil for an extra kick. Overall, everything we tried was solid, and the bustling weekend crowd makes it clear this place is a local favorite. I will definitely be back to try more dishes next time!“
