About Ping's Place

Ping's Place, located in the Great Wall Supermarket food court, offers a variety of Chinese dishes at affordable prices. The sticky rice rolls, including the popular purple rice option, are freshly made and priced at $3 each. The sweet tofu pudding and savory soft tofu are also popular choices. For a quick and nostalgic Chinese breakfast, customers often enjoy fried crullers, soy milk, and sweet soy bits. The beef noodle soup is considered the best dish, with tender beef chunks and a simple, clean broth that many find enjoyable. The hand-pulled noodles, especially the mustard greens with minced meat, are highly recommended for their chewy texture and straightforward flavor. Items like the egg omelette and stinky tofu are available but may vary in quality. Service is quick and convenient, with orders placed at the counter and pickup as you go, making it easy to add this spot to a busy shopping trip. Cash payments are preferred to avoid a small credit card fee. The ambiance is casual, and the large portions reflect a typical Chinese or Taiwanese breakfast style, perfect for a quick bite while shopping.

The fish section has good collection of Asian fishes which we like. The food court has several Chinese restaurants and gives a feeling of Asian street food market. We have tried some of the Chinese restaurants here, one of them being Ping's place. The food is good, but will not call it exceptional. The...read full review
Love the breakfast here please continue to have the Taiwanese rice balls (糯米飯圖)
Salty soy bean tofu (AKA Tofu Brain) is my favorite, other street food are great too. Noodles are good. Rice combos are just OK.
