“Ya Mon Jamaican Restaurant never disappoints! Their food is absolutely delicious, and the oxtails are some of the best I've ever had—so tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they put a lot of care into every meal.

The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. I also really appreciate the extra attention they give to packaging. They always carefully wrap my food with plastic wrap around the container to make sure nothing spills during transport. It's a small detail, but it shows how much they care about their customers' experience.

“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

“My family and I a total of ten of us dined at this restaurant. O my goodness, the food was delicious. We started off with some appetizers, spring roll and jerk chicken plantain nachos. They were delicious and filling. We ordered dinner and had to take it home, we were so stuffed. The manager Deja and hostess Desiree were exceptional. They provided everything we needed and checked on us constantly to see if we had further needs.Thanks ladies for a job well done.“

“I'm not sure what they did with those sides items but my side dishes stayed HOT my entire meal and it was cold in the building. I know I stayed in the restaurant eating my food for about 30-40 min, usually your food is not smoking, sizzling, hot to touch after about 5-10 mins. I had to blow my food before eating with every bite, even when I put it in my to go container, it was still steaming hot!
The food was amazing, 20/10! I would definitely eat here again & recommend this place to my friends & family.

When I arrived, it was only 1 staff member working the lobby area, Jessica. Jessica was the bartender, waitress, & hostess. When I arrived it was 1 table seated. Then I arrived after me more people came kept coming in and she never dropped her composure. Every time the bell would ring with more people coming in, she remained posed, greeted everyone with a smile & was very friendly. Jessica has amazing customer service!“

“We had an amazing experience at this place last weekend. We all went there as a group of friends last Saturday and the whole group could not stop talking about the food for a whole week!!! Our favorite was the pate kòde, hands down the best I’ve ever had in the states!!!!! I also had some lalo but it was a little bitter, hopefuly they fix it after. My husband had the turkey tassot as a fritay platter and it was delicious!!!! My son had the diri kole and ate the whole bowl by himself. The rice is soooo good, don’t even need any gravy to eat with it! The sos pwa was delicious as well! Our friend had the kabrit (goat) and it was also delicious!!! “I discovered M&J last month. I ordered the island breeze chicken that first time with the plantains. I was hooked! I’ve been back and have tried the peanut coconut chicken, curried chick peas (my wifes favorite). The flavors are amazing! The portions are huge! great for growing boys. I truly love Spice It Up! 😍🔥 My absolute favorite meal is the Jerk Chicken Wings with Cabbage and Mac & Cheese. The wings are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and always cooked just right. The cabbage and mac & cheese are the perfect sides to complete the meal!

I went at lunchtime and was hungry for Oxtail. However, the Oxtail wasn't ready and I had to wait 30 minutes for it. I took off one star for the restaurant not properly timing the dishes to be ready at lunchtime. (I believe all dishes should be available at lunchtime!)

“Placed an order for pickup today, x2 Chicken Roti.. upon pickup the Cashier rang me up for x1 chicken roti (priced at $13.78, different from the online advertised price of $10.25, which I hope to confirm tomorrow when I call), time was of the essence so I raised no concern and just paid for x1 and left.. Tip: Perhaps the Staff should practice confirming order when someone calls in for pickup and also update online menu prices, I drove 30min to pick it up but nevertheless the food was good, and I ended up sharing the x1 roti with my spouse.“
