The food is excellent, the roti is perfect, pepper sauce on point - real wiri wiri (IYKYK)! The restaurant is just like home and the owners, the staff and guests are like family. This brought back a real Guyana / NYC experience. If you’re looking for West Indian, Guyanese or Caribbean food this is the place to go! Back in Thyme is tucked away in Lawrenceville, but definitely worth the drive from anywhere in the Metro Atlanta .
Had a delicious brunch at Back in Thyme this weekend. The shrimp and grits had tons of flavor and the jerk chicken was authentic and delicious. Portion sizes were generous and the drinks were great as well, from the green tea to the hibiscus Bellinis. We also loved the atmosphere, which was cozy and inviting. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
