“Truly a one of a kind experience. Waffle house ceases to be a Waffle House after a while and becomes a Waffle Home. The food is a comfort, the staff are friendly, and you can't beat the price point for comfort food and staples. Highly recommend if you're in the area. From Sunday Brunch to a 3 AM on a Thursday, highly recommend.“
“I don't normally leave reviews like this and this is actually my first online review ever. I dont normally go to Waffle House either or at least not since the the early 2000s, So to say when I walked in today that I was a little taken aback by the atmosphere is a massive understatement.
My last time at a Waffle House and I swore it would be my last time was in 2002 which soured them for me in a Big way. They were rude to my at the time wife, they were Dirty and there was salt all over the table and napkins from previous diners, and they took forever to get our food to us and when we mentioned it had a bad attitude about it.
Absolutely none of that happened this time. The food was hot when I got it, the guy who took my order was friendly (I think his name was Eric) and made sure to refill my drink, and importantly it was remarkably clean compared from what I last remember. Totally changed my view on what a Waffle House could and Should be like.
