“My husband and I met with some friends here recently for dinner. We overall enjoyed the oysters we ordered. Was very fresh and tasted fantastic. Other dishes we had were the fish sandwich, Tybee shrimp and grits, and I believe some kind of fried rice that one of our friend ordered. The restaurant reminds my husband and I of some of the foods we had while in St. Simons which was very pleasant for us. That how fresh we felt the seafoods was. Next time we’re in Athen we will for sure stop by again.“
“Marti's at Midday caters our annual holiday party, dinner and dessert. The food is delicious and the presentation looks great, throughout the evening. It's easy to replenish the buffet table and the delivery and set up is on time, every time. Thank you!“
“Awesome all-around experience. Walking in, you are greeted with a smile from the sign atop the building, which is cool, but even cooler when the staff were smiling and friendly. Zac with a K, the manager, is a home run hit for this place. Treats you like your the most important friend in the world. I work for the railroad, so I am on the road and eating out all the time. This is by far one of the best establishments I have frequented in my traveling career. The food was healthy clean eatz with full on flavor. I was only in Athens for 8 days and ate there 5 times. That's how good the food was. Definitely check this place out!“
“My family stopped here after my daughter's cheer competition with her teammates and we were not disappointed! We ordered the artichoke and garlic pizza that is made with their homemade ranch and it was so good that we ordered an extra large to go before we left! My daughter got an everything pizza, which comes LOADED with every topping. The price is comparable to some of the more well-known pizza chains, but the quality and quantity of food you get here is well above those other places. If you're a local, this NEEDS to be your regular pizza joint. The atmosphere is top-notch and the staff make you feel right at home. The owner, Diane, is not just the owner. She is also a member of the hard-working and friendly staff. The kids enjoyed watching the Georgia game while playing foosball, Jenga, and arcade games. We'll be stopping in every time we're in town from now on!“
“Em's is the perfect spot for a quick lunch, breakfast and coffee. I recommed the chicken salad sandwich, the potato soup, ruben and omelets. The cookies and gooey bars are amazing! I have lunch here with my husband often. It has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a break from work. The staff is friendly and they get busy around lunch time. I've also done pickup orders and haven't had any issues. Appreciate the condiments, sugar and honey station is always stocked.“
“The food is really good! Lots of options. You definitely never have to eat the same thing twice. The food is hot and fresh.Service is good. The menu can seem a little overwhelming at your first visit. Just ask, they will be happy to explain. They also have menus at the register. The atmosphere is okay. Limited indoor seating and it's kind of a cafeteria feel. They do have outdoor seating if the weather is nice.Vegetarian options: 95% of the menu is vegan! They have some meats and she said the Mac n cheese was not vegan.“
“BussssssiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnClosed on Sunday you my chuckfila you da numba one wit da lemonadeeeeed.Kid-friendliness: The only thing big kid friendly are the horrendous bulldogs logos. Those poor children’s eyes must hurt after looking at garbage for so long.“
“I've been here plenty of times and always satisfied. I always get my order to go but the staff is always friendly, even when they do curbside. If you love chicken salad, this is the place for you.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp right outside the door.“
“My husband and I came here for dinner. We decided one of us would order 2 sushi rolls and one of us would order the seafood trinity and we’d share it all. We did mention this to our waitress, who was very attentive and polite. The sushi came out first, and it was outstanding! Truly some of the best we’ve had. They split the trinity platter onto two smaller plates, a great idea. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the cooked seafood. The fish was dry. The bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp really didn’t have much flavor. The oysters were pretty good. We’ll be back for more sushi, but not the other half of the menu.“
“I am honest and admit it all. I was forced to eat here. Mind you, I don't mind spending money in upscale restaurants, but refuse to be part of the Apple phone, Starbucks, etc followers of what everyone else buys or drinks. I thought this was another high price "be seen" place. Boy I was WRONG!!!! THE Italian was fresh, full of flavors, high quality ingredients, happy friendly staff, clean, great atmosphere, just a wonderful experience. $50 for 3, but the experience was a can't wait to return one and plenty of food!! Can I get a cheaper sandwich? Yes of course! Can it compete with these ?? NO! Thank you all!“
“We have been looking forward to going to Olive Garden for awhile now, and the Athens location did not disappoint! Joseph V. did a wonderful job with our orders and with everything as as well! Such a nice young man! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was a wonderful meal experience.“
“My husband and I recently discovered this place and fell in love! He can't have gluten due to Celiac Disease, and they accommodated him so beautifully and in such a friendly way that we felt like honored guests instead of the problem table due to his food restrictions. We have gone in or ordered out several times and have loved every part of the experience, from the amazing food (our stockings were packed with their packaged foods this year), to the cozy and elevated atmosphere, to the top-notch service at all times.I'm so saddened that this place is closing down. If love and tastiness could save them, they'd be open until kingdom come. The beautiful gluten-free fried chicken, creamed sweet potatoes, pepper jelly pecans, and cheese straws will live rent free in my mind for all time, and if they ever sell anything at a market or open up another project, I know we will give them our support! Thanks for everything. Dietary restrictions: ?Their menu boasts many gluten-free options, and I'm not saying just a salad, minus the croutons - there's actual fried chicken, cheese straws, wonderful sides, and expressing dietary restrictions has always been met with seriousness and care. This place is a Celiac's dream.“
“Sandwich (avocado and turkey)was ok, bread could have been toasted more. Mac and cheese was good. Counter service was personable and efficient ( it was honestly the best part). I came around 6:30 on 11-21 and was helped by a pleasant young lady with curly blond hair. Overall it was a good experience punctuated by exemplary customer service.“
“I recommend EVERYTHING❣️ Lindsey’s is sassy, fresh, yummy cooking with love. Lindsey has been nurturing my family for many years, from graduation parties to funeral receptions, from lunches to birthday cakes during quarantine, they are the best!“
“Like every Chick-fil-A, the store is clean and the food is good. You always know what the food will taste like, and I like that. Most always, the servers are kind and polite. I think the girl waiting on me may have been having a bad day. She wasn't rude, but there was no, "My pleasure" or "Have a good day." This was very atypical of Chick-fil-A.Parking: Every Chick-fil-A parking lot is full.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility for parking, tables, and restrooms.“
“The best Barbs there is! I’ve been here at their busiest on game days, their slowest during the summer, and times in between. The quality of food and service does not waver. Of the Athens locations, this is by far the best. The Barnett Shoals location couple learn a thing or two from this location.“
“God I love Sunday Brunch at FIVE. Yes, three piece jazz band, yes Jittery Joe’s coffee, yes pitcher of mimosas! We stop here every time we come back to Athens, and the only reason why it is not five stars are two things: 1) we really miss the frozen orange juice ice cubes in the pitcher of mimosas. I understand needing to serve them in a water glass, but those orange ice cubes set you apart. 2) it makes me really sad that my only food option as someone with Celiac is the salad. Yes, it is a DELICIOUS salad…but it’s salad. I would love to see something gluten free! Love you guys!“
“We came this evening with a bus full of wrestlers. This zaxbys was by far, the cleanest, nicest, friendliest and most efficient zaxbys we've EVER been to! We were on and out within 30 minutes! Thank you for all of your hard work. Yall are amazing! Moco middle school wrestlers!“
“Just got into town after driving for 6 hours, picking up our house key getting a room waiting on the movers. Asked my gal if she ever ate at Jason's, she hasn't so we went I had my normal Ruben the Great, she had the California club, my sandwich was good as usual, she doesn't eat much but I looked up and she was taking her last bite... I asked if she was that hungry or that good ...she said both "I think this is our new sandwich shop"Place was a bit dingy and dirty, had to ask for ice but other than that the staff was friendly.“
“It was pretty good. Overall my kids have always loved it for sure. As for the employees and service both are always on point!!! However, the chicken is a bit too sweet (which many people like it that way) and some don't. It really all just depends on what an individual likes according to they're taste buds. It's definitely a 5 star fast food restaurant!!!!“
“Ignacio and Ignacio Jr and the crew were fantastic. The food was fresh and delicious. They went above and beyond servicing our large group.(over 50).The restaurant was prestine and they kept the food coming. The grilled meats and empa nadas were the best in Athens and Atlanta.“
