Come for the beer, stay for the food. I tried 4 of the beers and ended up on the barrel bourbon beer. The Cerberus was amazing.

There seems to be a lot of conflicts amongst employees. No one wants to hear bickering when trying to enjoy food/drinks, especially coming from the restaurants staff. Furthermore, they were mopping around customers and rushing everyone out 30 minutes early. I heard an employee tell someone with a full drink that she only had 5 minutes to drink it. Very hostile environment. Not sure what was going on with their staff but they let it affect their quality of service and that’s no way to run any establishment.

What a nice place to relax and have good food and watch some TV. The staff all around was awesome and made us feel so welcomed. Definitely a find and will go back again

Poorly trimmed bbq is not “ham”. Avoid the Caledonian at brunch. Four stars because the beer was outstanding

One of my favorite places but your AC is definitely broken:
Came in at what seemed like it shoukd have been a dinner rush time, but the place seemed quiet and relatively empty. Nice staff.
Brussel sprouts were overcooked, a usual trait among many restaurants. Good on them to serve a dip with them to mask it, but I really would prefer juicy sprouts over dry ones.
The salmon was fantastic. Well and evenly cooked and tasted amazing. The burger was a bit too well done despite asking for medium. The fries and pasta were also really good.

Really enjoyed our Saturday afternoon, two weeks ago, at Akademia! The service was great and the food was super good, ESPECIALLY the burgers! We started with fried pickles and there’s more than enough for 4 with that appetizer.
We both had burgers, cooked at different temps, both delicious with that great old fashioned burger flavor. Not taking a star away but I’d rather have had a regular burger bun than a pretzel bun as I’m just not a fan. I had the Brussels sprouts as my side, more than enough for 2 or 3 people and to die for, and hubby fries.
I loved all the flavors in my flight and my hubby was very pleased with the bartender’s substitution for his choice of light beer.
The outside looks like a typical small strip mall but once inside it’s a cool industrial style bar, great air conditioning for a hot day, with being able to see the beer tanks; wide open. There is an outside area too and, if I’m correct, has a burn ring for winter.
We will definitely be back.

Kathy was awesome. Best old fashion ever. She definitely deserves a raise.
This is the second year we have used Akademia for a Leadership Retreat! Mr. Casey and his team are amazing! They go above and beyond! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. If you are planning any event - this is your place! If you want a place to meet up with friends - also a great place to go!!

Very nice. Long time fan of the beers - first chance I had to visit the source. We had cheese curds to start and entrees of a burger and the Cerberus Triplet Sandwich. Cheese curds were legit. Sandwiches also solid. No need to go on about the beer - these guys make good beer.

Nice and original decoration on the outside.
I’m not one to normally leave reviews but my interaction at the brewery was ridiculous. The menu has the audacity to say (gf) indicating an item on the menu was gluten free. Upon asking the server (who was very nice) about the dish, it became apparent that the dish wasn’t gluten free at all (the fryers are shared between all deep fried dishes, cross contaminating them with batter. The Parmesan cheese had gluten in it?) Literally almost nothing on the menu was actually gluten free regardless of whether or not it was marked as such. The waitstaff were very nice, but the menu was a mess. To be clear we had someone in our party that has a severe gluten allergy and cannot eat it, we are not merely some group prescribing to a health fad. The music was incredibly loud as well?? I had heard amazing things about this place and my visit fell way below my expectations. I’d go to catch22 instead.
