Have come to Athens to visit my niece a few times and have been meaning to stop each time, but finally made it happen - so glad I did!! We can’t seem to find a decent bagel in Atlanta, but these hit it out of the park!! The bagels were the perfect combo of being firm on the outside and chewy on the inside - my only disappointment is that I didn’t try a bagel sandwich!!! Will definitely start stocking up when I come up for visits so we have some delicious bagels back home!! Can’t wait to come back!

Originally from the Northeast, so I've been pretty spoiled for bagels. Happily, ABC opened up during my first year in Athens and it's well... pretty good! 5 stars for Georgia bagels. HOWEVER, the only drawback is no VEGAN cream cheese. Please ABC, consider stocking some tofu cream cheese like they do in NYC!
Also, price is totally reasonable. These people reviewing here are just getting fancy bagel sandwiches-- what do they expect?. I don't want any of that. Just a bagel (untoasted!) with some cream cheese.
Vegetarian options: No vegan cream cheese option :(

Super disappointed in ABC. Had it in 2020 before they closed and thought it was great. We sat down to eat 3 minutes after being handed the bagels and they were cold. Had to put it in the toaster oven. Also $13 for a bagel is ridiculous. Also just did not taste very good. Dry and they won’t put the cream cheese on the bagel, you have to get a large side. Also was not asked if I wanted my change. $30 for two bagels. I’ll be sticking with Ideal. Don’t waste your time. Made my hangover worse.

Bagel is cold, dry, and falls apart. OVERPRICED go to ideal instead. Everything in the bagel is cold and looks like it has been sitting out. Extremely disappointed. Not a lot of flavor. Spent $12 for an egg and cheese bagel. I didn’t even bother to eat the other half of the bagel

I love bagels. I'm from the Northeast and I've missed having NY bagels whenever I want them.
The bagels here are good. They aren't as great as home but they hit the spot.
I gave the place a 4 star because they were out of so many things: iced coffee, cold brew, their toaster was broken... who wants an untoasted bagel?
Hopefully next time everything is working.

To say the least this place is quality. Everything is made to order and as fresh as possible when it comes to bagels. I ordered the lox with jalapeño cheese bagel and sun dried tomato cream cheese. Great combination and I love how you get a choice in every part of your bagel. Will be returning in near future and recommend to all.

Good to.have this place back. Ordered two lox bagel sandwiches online (everything and salt bagels). Other than the fact that "toasted" was a sold out option (I don't know how this is possible), and that many of the cream cheese flavors were also sold out, the bagels were fresh and chewy, and the assembled sandwiches were delicious. They really should have seating options, rather than just walk up and online ordering, but these are real bagels, and incomparable to anything you'll get in a grocery store. The lox was fresh and very flavorful. My order was ready when I arrived. The salt bagel needs more salt. And every bagel should be capable of being toasted.
Let's hope they manage to keep this place alive this time.

I ordered two cinnamon raisin bagels, paid 6,48$ and when I got home I realized, there was only one in the bag. After all I am glad there was only one as one couldn't taste the cinnamon. Disappointing experience.

I was excited to try it out after reopening. Unfortunately, felt like having online orders and the walk up line on was a little premature for how prepared the staff was alongside their ability to track inventory. We showed up to pickup our online order and they were out of all but one item ordered. The people in front of us were walk-ups and told after placing their order that they were out of the bagels requested. You could tell the staff was overwhelmed and jumbled. We requested a refund for the items they were out of and the manager took the receipt and said he’d get it taken care of but then walked off around the block with his hands full doing something else. I asked for a receipt or proof of return and was told he would handle it. That’s not the proper way to handle a refund. It should be handled on the spot. Flavor was mediocre and didn’t taste fresh. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.
