We used Athens Pizza quite often during the pandemic and it worked well. But it's been awhile. It's changed. I submitted the order to be delivered at around 6 through the app. According to the app, they had finished making the pizza at about 6:20. The app sent us a text saying that it was on its way to our house and should arrive between 6:30 and 6:50. When it hadn't arrived by 7:00, I called the restaurant. It turns out you cannot call the restaurant. While it sounds like the restaurant is answering, it turns out you are being directed to a call center. I was on hold with the call center for nearly 10 minutes, and the woman, who had a difficult time with English, told me that no one was answering at the restaurant. Finally I got in the car to go get it, even though the app continue to say it was on its way to the house. The reason I had it delivered was that I had things to do, but I had already paid for the pizza so I went to the restaurant. There were three other people waiting for their pizza and that was it at dinner time on a Wednesday evening. Obviously not very busy in the restaurant itself, I suspect for good reason. One woman working who told me it would be 2 to 3 minutes and that the pizza was in the oven. Of course, the app that told me that it had been finished an hour before and was on the way to my house. 10 minutes later, I went into the kitchen and she said it would be 2 to 3 minutes. About 15 minutes later, she came out with the pizza almost 2 hours after I submitted the order for delivery. She was apologetic, and I saidthings happen, except that your app told me that it was on its way for delivery. She made an attempt to say that that wasn't the case, so I showed the app to her. She said that she was not the owner. I said, I understand, but please tell the owner all about this. Given that there was no one in this restaurant at dinner time on a Wednesday evening in a university town, I suspect this restaurant won't be around long. If you order from them, good luck.

Just go to Little Italy's. Online ordered $100 worth of food, get there and sit in the parking lot until food is ready. 30min later they cancel order because they're OUT OF CHEESE AND PEPPERONI! Ok then

I called and placed an order, the lady I spoke with told me my order would be ready in 15 mins. I received a confirmation and a way to track. I arrived 15 mins later and the lady said she never confirmed my order which I saw on her screen as I was speaking with her at the restaurant. She stated they were closing but I could order another pizza and pick it up in an hour. Does this even make sense???

Online order made. One extra large, one small pizza, Greek salad. We live only 7 minutes away. Said it would be delivered by 7:40. At 8:05 no food. Restaurant said delivery person was on the way. Driver called 5 minutes later and said he was just picking it up. Delivered 5 minutes later and pizza was cold. Disappointing!

I've not eaten AT Athens Pizza, so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, but I can say that I have ordered delivery pizza from this business, and it is the top pizza joint in town. My wife and I have spent some time in Italy, and after we returned from the last trip I decided to try the Margherita from every pizza joint in town. Top Margherita is definitely going to Athens Pizza. Second place would be to Fully Loaded. Athens Pizza has some other incredible options too. The Greek Pizza was a real surprise. A wonderful sweetness and the tomatoes were very high quality and flavorful. The ingredients make all the difference and Athens Pizza clearly understands that. If you are after NY Italian, it's hard to beat Little Italy, but for your other pizza tastes, I can comfortably recommend Athens Pizza as your first stop.

Best food best price! He makes same quality and better taste food like DePalma’s or other high end Italian restaurants for one third of the price. Also very friendly. Could not recommend it any more. It’s a hidden gem it Athens! It you like Italian food this is a must place to order food from

Just tried one of the few halal spots in Athens. The food came out super fast, which is always a plus. Tried their fajita pizza this time, Taste was pretty good, nothing mind-blowing but definitely hit the spot. However, they need to work on their dine in space. The indoor place doesn't smell so good.
My Job ordered pizza from here today. The pizza was so good that I went home to order my own. I have never heard of it before until today but they have a life time customer. They have pizza hut, papa John's, dominion, etc beat.... this will be my forever pizza home from now on. It's hard to get good pizza now days but Athens Pizza is the best pizza I have tasted in years!!!! I had cheese pizza I can't wait to taste the other flavors

Walked in about 15 minutes before closing and asked if I could still place an order. The owner was super gracious and said yes. Great personality and no rush. Got my food home, and it was great. My wife also enjoyed the food. Pizza is awesome and is a welcome change to chain style locations. They also have one of the best Greek salads I have ever eaten. On subsequent visits , I have tried a few different things, and all were good. I didn't care much for the steak stromboli due to the kind of steak, but this is more personal preference. I will stick with pepperoni next time. I highly recommend this place and look forward to making my way through the menu over time. In times when money is tight, people want to feel appreciated where they spend their money, and from a service standpoint, they do not disappoint. Great service and people!!

I’m giving two star because I tried your pizza before it was good. The last time I tried pizza not even good. Also service is really bad also, we order wings it look like the microwave wings, and overcooked feel like they just been microwaved
