Nice brewery! Had two beers while here; a lager and a hazy IPA: both were solid for their style. Arrived during a Dawgs game, and still found a spot despite it being the season opener. There’s a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and the space itself feels more like a sports bar than a brewery. I have some friends who dislike this place so I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the beer. The line is also well managed and moves quickly even when there’s a good amount of customers in line. I wouldn’t say it’s worth visiting by itself but if you’re in Athens it’s worth checking out.

Events are always happening, food trucks are frequently available, tons of gluten free and non alcoholic options, and a huge patio / taproom with many clean restrooms. I got married here and love this place. Definitely visit Athentic when you get the chance.

As a first timer at Authentic, I had a great time! They’ve got two dark beers that are great. I also love that they have single stall, gender inclusive bathrooms.

I delivered an order there from door dash today( it was the wrong order) their was a Caucasian male about 6”1 maybe 6”2 heavyset male with brown hair along with a brown skinned girl with black curly hair and glasses who proceed to be dishonest about the order instead they not only stole food from a guy whose in the hospital but u proceed to eat the food and say my manager ordered the food she’s in a meeting, to have such low standards in this world today is ridiculous !! If you will steal from someone trying to live (the guy in the hospital) as well as from me doing this so my kids can eat) and lie give your manager a bad name whose to say u won’t steal from your company, if the need arose I pray that the guy gets his food he’s called several times even though I’ve explained the situation to him he’s elderly by the sound of it!!! It’s sickens me to think ppl act this way for food!! as to what kinda ppl work for this company their integrity definitely needs questioning!!??? not only that I clearly reapeated the name “Allen” multiple times as not to get it confused with the manager “ALLI”!

I came in on Tues evening. The bartender was absolutely wonderful. I wish I got her name! She was ready with recommendations and was super excited to help me figure out what I wanted since I'm not as familiar with Athentic's lineup. And the stout I got was really good as well!

The meal exceeded our expectations. My family and I stopped in for a quick dinner after a football game. We had been traveling for a week and it was hands down the best meal I had in a long time. I ordered the wild mushroom pasta and added chicken … outstanding! I didn’t catch the name of the slammin beer I had it was a sour with hits of apple. My husband enjoyed an IPA and a blue cheese burger. I wish I could take a case of my beer home with me it was so good. The service was great, the vibe was on point with college football on every screen! Great Job team!

Athentic is pretty awesome. Their Floodgate is a favorite, as is Sister and the atmosphere is always good. There is almost always something going on here so it's always a good time to go. My favorite Athens brewery.
